Dick’s Tire Factory

I will NEVER do business with Dick’s Tire Factory in Battle Ground again, and I suggest you follow suit. I stopped in to see how much they would charge to put on my winter tires (mount & balance). The manager asked me what size tires I had & before I could even finish telling him the size he interrupted me and ask where I originally bought them. When I answered somewhere else he immediately started escorting me to the door stating «if there’s no profit in it for me we don’t do it. It’s our policy». So I said «that doesn’t make sense since the amount you charge for mounting & balancing is all profit». He replied «it’s our policy in case we scratch your rim or something». And then he shut the door on me! I could not believe it. It is hard to make a profit in a small town when you are rude & refuse to help your own townsfolk because «there is no profit in it» for you! News flash DICK’S…there are lots of other tire shops in town! My next set (which will be this spring) will be purchased from Les Schwab even though they were slightly higher than you… it’ll be worth it. That’s $ 1400 you will NEVER get from me.

Dicks is Local in the heart of Battle Ground. Competitive pricing with most other express lubes. Friendly guys. Free car wash! Yeah that’s my kind of place

Bought a set of 4 tires at Browns Tire Factory plus road hazard? Yesyerday I had a low tire indicator light come on and since I was close to Battle Ground TF I went there. They seemed perturbed and said they would check my tire pressures. They did and found the RR pass tire low. They added air and told me I was good to go! The indicator light went off. Today, Sunday, light is back on and only place open is Walmart. Within 10 seconds he said you’ve got a big nail sticking out of your tire. Thanks Dicks Tire Factory! I waste my Sunday and get to pay for a flat tire that you should have caught and fixed on Saturday!

I used TF for 3 years until the following incident happened:
I’ve known two people who worked at TF in the tire department. I’ve herd crazy stories from both of them. Neighter still work there.
I bought my first set of tires there about 5 years ago. I never had to wait, and the prices were better than Schwab. I was allways happy with their service. I’ve herd the one owner is a real dick. The one with hair. He is.
I got a set of tires for my truck at Costco. never again as their service takes forever…2 hrs to rotate…2.5 hrs hrs to put on new tires… sorry it’s not worth the$ 100 savings.
So I go to Dicks to have it allinged. They put it on the rack and check it out. My buddy is there checking it out also. The bald owner calls me to the desk and says «We can’t alline it because it needs new ball joints, new tie rods and so on. He hands me a laundry list of repairs needed to the front end with an estimate of $ 1500. This is on a truck with easy use and 140k on it.
I leave bummed out thinking dodge trucks suck. My buddy who works there calls me and says the main guy who inspected it said, «This guy bought Costco tires and brought it to us to alline. I’m going to screw him over.» My buddy said the only thing wrong was one lower ball joint needed replacing. I took it to Les Schwab and didn’t tell them what TF said. They said it needed a lower ball joint. They did it for $ 130.
I asked my buddy if the owner knew what had happened and he said, «yes, it’s common practice». I have never returned again and now buy my tires at Hazel dell TF. The owner there is honest and goes out of his way to earn your business.
These two idiot owners at TF battle ground inherited the business from daddy and couldn’t build a business if they wanted to. No customer skills what so ever. They don’t try to earn your business they just live off daddy’s past reputation and treat you like s**t. BEWARE OF THERE REPAIR INSPECTIONS.

Rude, irresponsible employees. I don’t think I will be back.

Service is poor. It takes forever for work to be done on your vehicle, and when your vehicle is waiting to be worked on, they leave your windows down with your keys in the ignition in the parking spaces alongside the building. Also, there’s a man behind the counter by the name of Scott with a condescending tone (you’ll recognize him when he constantly grunts and rolls his eyes whenever someone else other than himself speaks. especially a woman). If you have to give them your business, be sure to talk to someone else. I don’t care if his dad put him in an established business, he better treat customers better if he wants to keep it. Leave your condescending tone for the coffee shop.

The folks at Dick’s Tire Factory in Battle Ground are fabulous! I’ve been going to them for years! The staff is fabulous the owners are the nicest around. Great prices, SUPERB SERVICE and they’re always available to help. P. S. — the free popcorn isn’t bad either!
Dick’s Tire Factory is a great example of a LOCAL company that cares!

25 bucks to check whether or not I needed an alignment today, and I did not need one… I’d rather wait a week to get into Les Schwab

Fast service from reputable people. They were totally up front about all POSSIBLE costs for the repair of my car, and didn’t spring anything on me last minute. If you live in the area, talk to the people here before you go any place else!

Fast friendly service. I have bought tires from them, they do my oil changes and I get a free car wash. Honest people.
