It’s not a cheap place in town or fast… If those are what you want look elsewhere! But it is a nice atmosphere with a few lighter style beers, decent local wine, and REALLY great food !!! It is not a place to bring kiddos though… The little plates are EXACTLY little plates. My kids are big eaters so we leave them at home! But it’s a great date place!

My husband and I came in for date night. It was a Friday night at 6pm and the place was packed. We were surprised to hear that the wait was 45 minutes, luckily the staff worked quickly to get tables cleaned and we were sat in less than 15 minutes. I ordered the Fungus Amungus Pasta with Pork Belly and my hubs had the Steak Medallions. Both plates were very delicious with generous portions. I was impressed to find such craftsmanship in a pub. The food was fine dining quality, ingredients & plating, at typical pub prices. I was impressed to see that this restaurant was also family friendly with a kids menu. The staff was helpful, prompt, and friendly. We will be going back!

This place is such a hidden little gem! It doesn’t feel like it belongs in Battle Ground. Cool décor, fantastic food, awesome service(that’s one indicator you’re not in Portland!), and fair prices. My husband and I went out while antique shopping in the city. A guy named Woody introduced himself and asked our names. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm greeting. My husband ordered an IPA(No Bad Days IPA) and he said it was delish. We weren’t very hungry so we split a grilled cheese panini(also delish) and fries. It also comes with a HUGE housemade pickle. We were both full and happy for $ 18 out the door. Overall, the experience was great. I live east of Portland and I’ll definitely be driving to this spot just to eat — it’s that rad! I heard the salmon nachos are amazing. Looking forward to trying those next time — the portion looked really big.(It’s pricey — $ 22 — but it could be a meal for two which is nice.)

I know everybody at my table loved this place — so I feel bad for the fact that I’m probably the only one that will review them. I honestly can’t even quote the eclectic and sort of funky ingredients that they put on my burger and our fries. Odd cheeses, Thai peanut sauce, beats… I mean they are creative here. My wife would probably give this place a 10 out of 5 — but I was not into it. I can’t tell you they«did it right and I just didn’t like it» either — it was honestly just kind of gross. If I went back, I’d go way more basic and stay away from the funky stuff. Hopefully I get a chance to go back and change this review — but for now… this one visit is all I have to go off of.

Really enjoyed the food and service. The Prarie Burger and salad I chose were very good. I had a taste of the Adult Mac & Cheese and thought the flavor was quite yummy. We will go back again.

Awesome service, excellent beer, and even better food. We were impressed with the menu, and once the food arrived, it definitely lived up to our expectations. This is our family’s new go-to BG restaurant! The only bummer was that we forgot to bring our growler, next time we will be taking some of their IPA home with us.

Saw this place while shopping in Battleground and decided to have lunch. Great atmosphere, very cool look to tables and chairs. Beer is excellent and food is wonderful. Definitely going back worth the drive from Vancouver.

Absolutely Amazing!!! The entire experience from walking through the door to waking out was hands down flawless! The food was something to leave there bragging about, it was fresh & mouthwatering delicious! Big props to the owner for creating such a cool atmosphere to enjoy an amazing meal or just kick back while enjoying a beer. I highly recommend this place, it’s a MUST try!!!

Wow, what a fun find. I needed a place in Battleground and liked the reviews of this place. Great job Unilocal community. Food was absolutely wonderful. Ambience is fun and casual and the staff was fun and friendly. This is a long way from my home, but I will still be coming back. I tried the burger and it was large and very good. My companion ordered the steak and it looked amazing.

We came in on a Friday night, and of course it was busy. We hung out at the bar with a couple of beers until a table opened for us. Service was quick, and friendly… everyone seemed very happy to be there whether they were a customer or an employee… Fun! Food was phenomenal. We had wings, a grinder, and a steak meal. Beer was great. Im sure we will be back!

What a great place in Battle Ground. The beers and cider on tap are fantastic, the décor is super cool and the FOOD! Holy Moly! So amaze-balls. Between the four of us we shared everything and it was all super good. The wings are the best … And award winning. The Stinky fries were the best with frizzled onions, roasted garlic and blue cheese. The greatest combination. The steak bites were succulent. And then there was the roasted beet salad. All I can say is «Order It!» You will love this place.

I would have given 4 stars — the food was delish — but was dismayed by the seriously chintzy wine pour. $ 8 bucks for what the menu said is a 6 oz pour. It was at most a 4 oz pour — but — much worse — a 4 oz pour of mediocre wine. Give me a nice glass of really good wine for $ 8 bucks and there’s a great chance I’ll have two. Give me a mediocre ½ glass of wine for $ 8 bucks and I won’t have two, nor will I order even one next time. If I come back next time.

The food is amazing, I am more impressed every time we go. I had the burger with peanut sauce on it. Cooked to perfection, all the sauces were great, it just melts in your mouth. The fries were great, with ranch of course. The GF had the wedge salad with blue cheese. Again, it was spectacular. HUGE pieces of blue cheese. For beer she had the IPA– very hoppy and world class. I had the stout– again, very good. The service was great. He asked my name and remembered it til the end. Sat outside and listened to the music. Another good thing. Keep it up guys, you are rocking it.

I wish they offered happy hour menu items outside of happy hour– I’d pay more for the caprese salad to get it outside of hh! The limiting of the menu(small print) was weird. I almost think they should just have two menus and pass them out at the appropriate times. The beer is good. solid for sure. We tasted all of them. My husband stuck with the IPA. I had the pale and hef. We got a taster of the Amber, which was good but we aren’t a Amber ppl and a pint seemed like it’d be too heavy. those were all the beers they make themselves on tap. The wings were delicious. I asked if we could order two sauces(Asian peanut and sweet heat) since we were ordering 2lbs of wings. I was told I had to order one pound of one sauce and a separate pound of another, essentially paying $ 2 more for the same amount. That is just silly. You’re frying one batch and saucing them separately anyways. My husband wasn’t too pleased about that. Stinky rise frites=bomb and even delicious reheated in the toaster oven!!! Also, we asked for a water for our little one and that never came. Had to ask again to get it. The back is dark. Needs more lighting. I wouldn’t drive out to battle ground just for this place but they would definitely be a good place to stop if driving through bg or after a hike or mountain bike ride up at Cold Creek. Definitely a step in the right direction for battle ground. Hoping things will get better with time.

Holy cow… The BEST& most amazing hamburger I’ve EVERHAD. I had the Daybreak Burger: Angus beef with phenomenal bacon, fried onions, Muenster cheese, lettuce, tomato, & a house made ranch. I subbed lettuce for pickle slices. And OMG the pickles on the side!!! Whole small cucumbers that they marinate into spicy pickle deliciousness. The thin fries were perfect — the right amount of salt with the perfect mix of crispy & soft fries to please everyone. Husband LOVED the amber beer on tap: Ash Cloud made by them. Folks ordered the Almond Joy brownie for dessert. I don’t know what all was in it, but I tasted the salted caramel ice cream, and despite being uncomfortably full, I could’ve dove into a vat of the sweet heaven. The décor was interesting & fun and there’s a great outdoor space out back. Our waitress was too cute & sassy for words. She told us the next dessert on tap will be the heavenly salted caramel ice cream paired with Bananas Foster. Wow! Cannot wait to go back!!!

This place is a hidden gem. The food is like Portland foodie good that the hipsters would love. It’s a nice improvement to battle ground. The food was amazing even the salads are tasty(the caprese salad was exceptional). It’s a cozy establishment and children friendly. It had some funky decoration. Will definitely be back to try more!

YOU’LLLOVEIT! This place… Mother of God. It was so good! Beyond good, what’s better than good, great?! Well this place is better than that, it’s amazing, better than that even! It’s Barrel MT Brewing, and they’re in a class of their own! Drinks, I was drinking light tonight so I grabbed a Hefe and it was great, add lemon, don’t add lemon, so good! Appetizer, Salmon Nachos were great! So much salmon, everything worked well together, I could of had the large serving to myself but then I wouldn’t of saved room for… …Dinner! I’m no child, but I do enjoy myself some Mac and Cheese from time to time, the Adult Mac and Cheese was perfect, PORKBELLY, SOOOOGOOD! Everything about it, AMAZING! I can’t say it enough! The service was great as well, we were served by both Miguel and Ashley and they were both super courteous, upbeat, happy, and knowledgeable about what they were serving. They could of called me an asshole and punched me in the face as I left and I still would come back though because the food is just that damn good! TRYTHISPLACE, YOUWONTBESORRY!!!
