Typically good Starbucks coffee, Nice big environment with lots of cozy chairs but the Wifi is virtually useless and AT&T reception very poor — But in DT Battlecreek there are not too many other choices

It’s true. I’m the Unilocal Duke of a Starbuck’s. Luckily it’s 500 miles from home so my friends probably won’t find out.
Even with the great fireplace I’m going to give it 3 stars. And that’s no reflection on the staff or the atmosphere, I like those kids. And yes, the cozy chairs and warm fireplace on a chilly Michigan afternoon is pretty dang delightful. Ultimately though it’s Starbuck’s and Starbuck’s is the Wal-​Mart of coffee shops.
So take your 3 stars and be ok.

I know — this is a Starbuck’s — ordinarily they would just get a standard 3 star rating.
The big thing about this Starbuck’s is that the staff is REALLY nice. They go out of their way to make you feel at home.
They also have a nice big fireplace that I intend to warm myself in front of when winter gets here!
