Was ok. 6 am and no other choices here. I like hot tea but they only had the kind without caffeine. I like a good black tea. At least she told me up front so I give her points for that. But there is a coffee shop right next door — I might try that for tea.
Oh and you can get nutrigrain bars, wraps, and bottle water here for your flight if you need it.

This place needs help. Had a very greasy bacon egg cheese biscuit here recently. Bacon was limp and soggy and biscuit was dry. Only restaurant in the airport so you are hostage. Eat before or after you are here.

Where to start? I first walked into the bar area and the bartender looked at me, I waved and found a table right next to the bar because I had time to kill. I sat down and the bartender looked at me a few times but didn’t say anything. I assumed there was a server since he didn’t acknowledge me, and after 3 minutes I saw a server near the bar. She looked at me several times but just stood there waiting for her drink for another table (meanwhile the bartender was no longer behind the bar– he went back to the kitchen). She waited and waited… and so did I. Another 10 minutes went by and I finally got up and went to the self-​order side and gave up on the bar staff. I went up to order and the entire time the cashier was taking my order, she was shoving French fries in her mouth that I saw her grab from behind the counter. !!!
I gave 2 stars because the wrap I had was okay. Everything else about the place made me feel like they did not want customers in there!

I did a walk by and couldn’t bring myself to order anything. I will never eat here unless I have zero options and a whole lot of hunger behind many skipped meals. Because I didn’t actually eat or drink anything I felt I must give a 2 star minimum.

Hey we r in BR at 6am– only place to eat, chicory coffee kicked my ass, food is airport grade– good enough for me as its expected.
Had a breakfast plate not so bad. Bacon eggs and taters. Absorbed my alcohol so worked for me. Staff was nice. Couldn’t see if it was dirty but that’s like rating a Waffle House at 3 am on a drinking binge! I have t puked yet so life is good and it’s Friday! wanna go home now.

Just plain bad. Zero stars if I could. Servers have no idea who ordered what. Also not sure if they are sanitary. Bartender dunks the glasses in a sink and puts them back in the cooler for the next customer. Doesn’t seem very clean to me.
The only reason they survive is because they are the only bar in the airport.

EAT BEFORE YOU GET HERE! Okay, I never post a bad review but this is necessary. There’s one restaurant in the Baton Rouge Airport and it is horrible. So many things wrong with this place — bad food, dirty cooking area, overflowing trash cans with stuff being stacked on top and, (I bet you guessed it), employees with the enthusiasm of a root canal patient. I should’ve bought a couple of bags of candy at the news store and had that for dinner. It would’ve been healthier, definitely tasted better and if the sugar rush made me sick, that’s better than the probable sickness I’ll have due to food poisoning. WOW Café will leave you saying, «WOW, that sucked!!»

Great customer service, awful food… eat before you get to the airport or grab something from the vending machines! I wasn’t expecting 4 stars, but really… best thing about my burger was the mustard I had to dispense on it myself…

Terrible terrible terrible service. I’m not sure what happened between the time they took their smiling badge pictures and now… always looks like somebody peed in their oatmeal before they came to work. Nothing makes these people smile. It’s almost impressive. The food isn’t too bad, and they get the second star because at least they serve beers… the Bloody Mary isn’t too bad either. OH! And there are plenty of outlets at the bar so at least you can charge up while the employees steal your sunshine. :)

New look for the airport café. Same terrible service as always. When I place my order I asked how I would know when my food is ready. They told me they would call it out. 25 minutes later when I inquired about my food, they had already given it to a different person.

Recently opened business at the airport. I’m not sure if it can be accessed before going through security.
Great selection of snacks and little sliders to take on the plane.
I had the Buffalo chicken roll-​up with hot sauce #2 and hot sauce XIII on the side. Very good! The XIII hot sauce is pretty F’n hot! Cayenne pepper.
Quick, friendly service. I’ll eat again when I’m at BTR.
