The Salad Shop

The salad was great but the girl making my salad seemed to be afraid to touch avocado. I will return if you promise to turn the music down and not play music with cursing. I experienced that today. Music was so loud that the girl had to keep asking me to repeat things. Justin Timberlake’s «suit and tie» was on and it was. It the radio version. Great sale though and I will be retuning.

Where’s management? Seriously. Someone needs to come pop and do a surprise visit because quite a few things are seriously lacking.
First, there is absolutely no friendly customer service over here. No one greeted me. The lady who took my order didn’t even say hello. She just sat and waited as I told her every single thing I wanted. At one point she literally rolled her eyes, put her head back, and sighed in aggravation. I have no idea if it was directed towards me or someone else but I do know it was rude as I don’t know what. At the end of her putting all of my requested ingredients together she leaves it on the counter and walks away. No explanation of what was to come next, and since this was my first time here I had no clue. The lady who came up after her took care of the rest and was a little more friendly.
The salad itself was fresh and actually quite tasty. The problem with the food part of it was that the whole area was just not tidy. It’s just salad ingredients. How hard is it to keep a salad area clean? Also, it would be nice if the chicken and shrimp were freshly cooked.
Honestly I think the concept is awesome. It’s like fresh and healthy fast food, however with customer service and attitudes like these I’d rather pass it up and keep going to Cane’s or Chick Fil A where I know I’ll be greeted with a smile. Very disappointed today.

My bf has been to pick up salads a few times for us to eat for dinner. I love their salads! I am a huge avocado fan and sometimes places don’t have the best, but theirs are perfect. The salads are a good size and very filling so I usually cannot eat a whole one. Considering that, the prices are excellent since I can get 2 meals out of one salad. This is a quick healthy place to eat. I am glad they are so close to my home. We will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try all of the combinations.

Good salad but the staff was not very friendly. It was Tuesday at 4pm so there was no lunch rush or anything, I was the only one in there. I know sometimes when it’s busy employees get stressed but that wasn’t the case. This was my first time there so I walked up and neither one of them even said hello. I got the feeling that they didn’t want to be there and that they really hated their jobs. I was reading the menu/​steps and the guy just stood there in silence staring and spinning the bowls, it was really awkward. I even apologized for taking so long and let him know it was my first time there. He still just stood there not saying a word, no smile and not offering any suggestions. Then after I got my salad and paid I said, «thank you» and I got no response. I got the «build your own salad» with broccoli, feta, mushrooms, eggs and ranch and it was really good. I only ate half of it because it was huge. All the vegetables and other toppings looked fresh and the tables looked clean but the unfriendliness (borderline rudeness) of the employees kind of ruined my first experience there.

How did I not know about this place? Today was my first time and I gotta say it was amazing. Not to be gross but my digestive tract is very sensitive and salads are the best foods I can eat without having discomfort. I am able to customize anything I want and don’t have to worry about surprise ingredients I don’t want to eat. They also have a soup of the day! Try this place. As one salad lover to another, you won’t be disappointed. :) YUM!
Oh, and I love the way they chop the salad up at the end. Makes it even tastier! This place better stick around Coursey because it’s less than 5 minutes from where I work! See yall next time!

Love the food and product, but the staff is very unwelcoming and a little grumpy. I still come here a lot and tip 18% but if they could be a little nicer and upbeat I would give them 5 stars quickly.

Ok I love this place. It’s clean, I’m on a diet & I love salads. The other salad shop is just so far from my house. So when I heard they were opening another location closer to my house, I was excited. They also have the calorie count for everything now! The only thing I hated about this location was that the employees were not friendly. I was not greeted when I walked in. The lady who put everything I wanted in a bowl didn’t say a single word to me. She just stared at me until I told her what I wanted. I felt like we were having a staring competition for a second. Quality of the food was fresh & I can never finish a full salad in one sitting.

Food is fresh. Service is great. Always a smile on their faces. The wraps are delicious. Always get a avocado blt in a wrap. I’ve never had a bad salad or experience. Wish I could go more often.

Horrible service and attitudes! Asked for a salad with hard broiled eggs and was yelled at and told «We ain’t got eggs» even though it is listed on the available items list. Please avoid this place unless you want to deal with attitudes and lack of LISTED AVAILABLE items.
