Apartments have their ups and downs, but what I can’t take is dishonesty. That’s what you will l get if you move here. Management did not disclose that major renovations were planned when I signed my lease. They weren’t little things: the building was under major construction the whole year of my lease. Upon move-out, I was charged more than $ 300 for a carpet cleaning including«pet damage» though I didn’t have a pet. One of the stains they claimed I made was there when I moved in, and though I sent them a picture of it with the move-in inspection, they still used that as part of the claim that I damaged their carpet. The manager has no difficulty telling you a complete fabrication right to your face. Rent here if you don’t mind your deposit being confiscated to pay for their renovations so they can raise the rent for the next person when you finally are able to escape this place.

Don’t expect to have parking anywhere near your building because most tenants have 3+ cars and it’s highly overcrowded. That’s if you can even get a spot for all you overnight workers. Dog feces everywhere, which cause large rats and roaches to roam outside at night. Don’t bother taking issues/concerns to the office, because you will get a snark remark on how it’s out of their control. Apartments themselves are subpar. Electrical sockets don’t hold plugs, and they easily fall out. Walls are very thin, and you can easily hear the vast amount of people throughout the day/night; or if you’re lucky the couple that screams at each other bright and early every morning. Very tiny and cramped storage/closets. The town house’s upstairs are no where near livable during the summer since the AC has terrible ventilation to the upper level. Also the horrible insulation and cracks everywhere throughout the apartment that allow noise, hot air, and bugs in.(doors, windows, etc.) They charge you for items the previous tenant’s broke if they didn’t notice it during their«inspection/cleaning» if they even did one. I would never recommend this nightmare to even my worst of enemies. One year lease, that is impossible to break.

I moved in here in January from Tennesseee, they made my boyfriend stop in Jackson Mississippi to sign a lease and fax it back to them before they would even let me move my stuff in, The office staff is rude, we did not have hot water for 72 hours after we moved in, our dishwasher broke, they asked us for 3 months rent along with a co-signer which is ILLEGAL, our pantry flooded, we were charged for the stuff the previous tenants left on the patio, the laundry rack fell out of the wall, and a whole host of other problems. It looks nice, but the office staff of catty women who insist on talking to you as if you are six years old are very condescending. Maintenance are outstanding and very friendly Update 3 months left on my lease. It will be the happiest day of my life when I get to move out! They told me I had to get rid of one of my dogs(even though both are on the lease). The woman working the front desk called me a b**** to my face in front of my mom, boyfriend, and other residents. Desperately seeking other housing in BR for the duration of my grad school program. Have been here 9 months and had 24MAJORISSUES(things breaking like the AC, water heater, pantry flooding, shelf falling out of wall, and taking giant chunks!)
