Eye Wander hits it out of the park! There just so many wonderful things to say about Aaron’s work, I don’t even know where to start. For one, seeing all of his landscape and travel pictures online makes me really jealous and want to travel to those places *right now*. But for now, I will live vicariously through his travels since his photography makes you feel like you are in these exotic places. (: Second, I have been following Aaron’s work before he had his huge team around when he first was starting out. It makes me super happy to see Eye Wander at community events (including photographing the LA Film Fest and Trafficking Hope gala which are two of my favorite things)… and to say that his artwork has grown and keeps giving me a gasp of WOW every time I scroll through his images is a giant understatement. Also, I work in the wedding industry a bit as well, and speaking him in person at the shows is always a wonderful experience if you are lucky enough to catch him between consults and client questions… Eye Wander is a hot commodity! I’ve even seen online that they do classes for beginners sometimes too. How cool is that to spread artistic expression and teach others to grow into themselves as artists and inspire passion?!
Being a business owner myself, I am extremely picky when it comes to customer service, especially in an industry where we have to work hands-​on with people.
First point I want to make about Eye Wander is that the initial consult — Getting photos done for whatever occasion (wedding, portrait, boudoir, etc) can be extremely over whelming. Personally, I get anxious either not knowing or knowing too much what I want (and therefor having a hard time letting the artist do their job)… but Aaron has a way of putting the client at ease and speaking their language to get down to the details of what the client is looking for without feeling nervous or overwhelmed with decisions. He makes it easy and takes any stress or nervousness you are feeling out of the situation.
Second, is about the actual session — Aaron and his team really do go above and beyond during each session to make it super fun and memorable and accommodating to the client. If the client is feeling still and nervous and afraid, he isn’t afraid to let loose and make everything super comfortable and lax. He makes you not feel self conscience and vulnerable and boosts your confidence to where you truly enjoy every minute of the photo shoot, whether you are on-​site at an outside location or simply in the studio. You will be disappointed when the session ends actually! Why did it go by so fast?!
Third, Aaron lets you view your sessions photos on a huge slideshow screen to get a better look at the shots… it’s like going to the movies! Viewing the photos is an experience in itself, and Aaron will give you his personal favorites and suggestions on what to order/​keep. As far as whether to order a book, regular prints, or other print options, he has plenty of selections to choose from to fit your own aesthetic needs. Since Eye Wander has a large team to handle design and orders, the editing and turnaround is very quick! Seeing Eye Wander’s work makes me want to get married JUST to have amazing wedding photos! I would definitely recommend Aaron Hogan’s company Eye Wander to ANYONE looking for a unique, personal, and not-​so-​standard photography experience.

I had the pleasure of working with Aaron Hogan, his wife Jency Hogan and his lovely team on a few different projects, one being my family portrait, another on business photoshoots and also collaborated on a music video. He is a ridiculously talented creative individual, who has endless ideas and a keen eye for perfection. He is also so easy to work with because his humorous and easy going personality makes every step of your photo experience comfortable! He makes sure he captures everything you want in your photo, as well as gives his professional opinion and advice on everything from the editing process to the framing. He shot an amazing family portrait of my family and I and I was blown away by the outcome! I would highly recommend him for anything from engagement sessions, weddings, portraits, destination photography, underwater shoots, head shots, etc. I love working with him and his team!

Eye Wander Photo is awesome! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Aaron and his crew. Aaron is going to photograph my wedding in February and I cannot wait to see his work from our big day. Professionalism: Aaron and his team are extremely professional and don’t leave any detail undone. Our engagement photo session was amazing. Aaron and his team went above and beyond my expectations. From being very clear about clothing suggestions, choosing the best location for our shoot and even providing a changing area for outfit changes during our shoot, it was a wonderful experience. My fiancé and I had the best time with Aaron and his crew and they made us feel comfortable and we were able to be ourselves completely during the entire shoot. He captures some of the most beautiful and natural shots of us and we absolutely LOVE the pictures.
Aaron is hilarious and knows how to make people feel comfortable and at ease. He has a wonderful eye to capture and see things that others would not. He really takes his time exploring, thinking and striving to capture the right images.
Timeliness: Aaron had our pictures ready to view within a week and he was very thoughtful in how he wanted us to choose our photos. I live in Kentucky and so Aaron scheduled an online/​live photo session in which we were able to review our pics and chose our favorite photos. Aaron even suggested ways we could use the photos and gave us suggestions of what to order, etc. as that can be very overwhelming.
We cannot wait for Eye Wander Photo to photograph our wedding day! I have no doubt it will not only be a wonderful experience but the photos will be ones that we will cherish forever.

I would recommend Aaron and his crew to anyone looking for an awesome photographer. He photographed our engagement session and our wedding day from start to finish. He was wonderful to suggest doing ‘first look’ pictures because they came out great and were able to capture some raw moments. Aaron and his team are extremely professional and someone you can trust to capture the essence of your special life moments. Aaron has a fun personality and does his best to make you feel very comfortable.
