I remember when this was the spot to go to. Not sure if sales went down so service went right along with it, but if u wanna gamble and get a bite to it go ahead. I loveddddd their prime rib but today it was just chewy and dry! And the carver giving me thr side eye when i went to get it as if I was bothering her did not make my experience any better.

I would never pay this much again to eat here. It’s barely worth the regular price but they tagged on a HEFTY Christmas surcharge, which makes it beyond the pale. I can’t believe people pay $ 30 for this very mediocre food. For $ 11.95 which is the regular price it’s marginally acceptable but ridiculously overpriced on Christmas. The roast beef was tough and the turkey was nasty processed turkey roll. On Christmas? Really? Seriously? The major ingredient in every dish is SALT. EVERY dish was horribly over salted to the point of being inedible. With a $ 14 upcharge? The best thing on the buffet was the green beans. The cheesecake was sliced at least three days before the buffet because the edges and the top were all dried out from being refrigerated uncovered. The coconut cream pie was watery and icky and the Diet Coke was absolutely terrible, probably the worst post mix syrup blend I’ve ever tasted in my life and so old that The NutraSweet sweetener wasn’t even sweetening it any longer, I sweetened it with some packets at the table. Appallingly bad service even for a buffet and our server desperately needed to wash/dryclean her weave as there were big CLOTS of stuff the braids that looked like dried icing along with lint, and stuff I couldn’t identify. Some days it’s not good to be a very tall woman standing behind a petite one. The tiny shining light is that the seats were very comfortable and the view of the mighty Mississippi was spectacular. They DO give allergy information above every dish on the buffet, but there’s not enough room(as the dinner plates they write it on are too small) for all the zeros for the salt milligrams. The buffet servers(not the waitress – who WAS very nice) can only be described as surly which may be because it was Christmas morning but they had to be getting doubletime to work on the holiday so there was no excuse for the attitude. I’ve worked many holidays and didn’t take it out on other people and I’m shocked that they would be borderline rude to people paying top dollar for Christmas brunch. I’d never come here again, it’s just not worth it.

I like this buffet. The food is good and the service is great. I especially like that info is given on dishes to indicate if it is made with wheat, soy, or dairy. I got to have gravy because I knew they don’t thicken it with flour!
