I recently suffered a stroke and was very pleased when I was told that Paula would come to my house to dye and cut my hair. I thought this was very generous of her. She then dyed my hair black [which I did not want and is irreversible], missed a spot, and left a terrible mess in our bathroom. Afterwards she left because it had taken her longer than expected, and though she was paid for the haircut as well; would not return the money she was given and even said it was in the mail. When I finally called her boss I was then yelled at and was told that it wasn’t her fault so I needed to take it up with Paula. I would not recommend this salon to my enemies!

I also went in and experienced similiar behavior and yes it was by the owner. She sat read a magazine, went online, very little conversation, and forgot to put me under the dryer. I left with hair dye on my face but the color was done well. Never had such unhospitable service though. I’m curious about the owners response since it was with a different persons name.

I came here for a keratin treatment thanks to a Groupon. When I first walked through the door, I wasn’t greeted because the owner and her receptionist were too busy looking at a video on their cell phones. When I was finally greeted, I was told to have a seat and wait until they were finished watching their video. I should have turned around at this point. I was taken back to get my hair washed and there was no conversation. Rather, the owner, who was washing my hair, was reminding herself to make an appointment for something for her car. I was sat under the dryer and the owner picked up a magazine. At first I thought it was for me to read-what you would expect from a salon-but instead she took it to go read it herself and never offered me anything. Then the keratin treatment starts. I’m still not being told what is going on, no one has asked me how I’m doing at this point, nothing. She realizes when she first starts the treatment that she doesn’t have enough product to do my whole head. So she has someone else start the treatment and makes me sit in the chair for a good 20 minutes, half of my hair being treated, the other half not, while she runs to her supply store to get more kertain. Never once during this time did anyone apologize for the inconvenience. She finally returns and finishes my treatment and I get my first apology and how are you of the entire appointment. Then the unbelievable happened-she started bad mouthing her employees that supposedly didn’t refill the keratin while there was a full salon of guests! It even got to the point where, while my hair was still being worked on by her, she was having her receptionist post online for a new hair stylist. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional she was and thought surely the appointment couldn’t get any worse. I was wrong-she then started getting into the race of her neighborhood and used some very derogatory terms at times. I can’t even describe the way I felt walking out that door. Never will I ever support this business again.
