Metro Mattress

So I’ve actually bought 2 mattresses from metro mattress. A guest bed and mine. The guest bed purchase was fine but then again… I don’t sleep on it. I bought a mattress on a day I was tired and after some negotiations getting 50% off (paid $ 1200) and high pressure sales it was ours. I bought the crazy overpriced mattress protector (only 40 cheaper) that allows you to return the bed. I hated the bed it was wicked firm much firmer than the one at the store. We called to ask about returning it and essentially they said sure but you have to get another mattress from us and at full price. Two weeks later I was browsing
and low and behold a mattress identical in look to ours for $ 320. So I bought a twin of the woot mattress for my daughter because she liked ours. It arrived and it was not made by the same manufacturer (phew !?) but it was so much more comfortable than ours. So moral of story is go online to amazon, woot, overstock, etc. and buy a mattress you have a much better chance of liking it and not being swindled.
