Charlie Fox’s Pizzeria

Charlie’s always makes us a very good pizza but tonight was outstanding! It was as if we were their only customer. Toppings (sausage, mushroom, onion, green pepper and pineapple) were piled on, cheese was lightly browned and chewy. It was a thin crust pizza that was at least an inch thick! We live 10 minutes away and it was delivered so hot it almost burned my tongue, a nice problem to have. Good job Charlie!

We just moved in a few buildings down, and ordered a stuffed sausage and a double dough cheese with some friends… this pizza is legit! Delicious!!! Seriously no joke… its a double edged sword now for us; its great pizza, and now we live too close for comfort… I’m going to need to develop self control and stay constant at the gym. ALSO the guys working the phone and counter were really nice. Keep up the solid work guys, you’ve acquired 2 more solid customers!!!

Granted we live pretty close by, but they always have our pizza to us in less time than they say. And it’s always well cooked and delicious. Try the carnivore, and anything on the double dough crust =) keep your eyes out for the coupons that they give you on their menu, they have some great options!

Hnnnnngh stuffed pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. I dream about you every weekend. We usually get a medium and eat for a week. My only complaint is that the veggies in the supreme aren’t cooked all the way. It’s weird biting into almost-​raw onions and peppers. I need those mushy so my jaw doesn’t tire out from masticating these giant slabs of deliciousness.

I’ve been coming on and off for 10+ years now. It was great at first then questionable but now appears on the upswing again. I rely on mom and dads recommendations for good pizza since I moved out of state a few years ago. I’ve had this on several of my last visits and it’s been delicious. It’s a bit pricey compared to chain places but you get what you pay for. I love their stuffed spinach and their double dough. The fried mushrooms are yummy too.

Charlie Fox is my favorite local pizza place. Everything from the fresh mushrooms, peppers & onions, not-​too-​spicy Italian sausage, sauce that tastes like real tomato, golden cheese, and perfect thin crust. We also occasionally enjoy the deep dish & calzones. We’ve probably orderd at least every other week for about five years now & Charlie Fox is still in our top ranks.

I recently posted a review on this place thinking I was reviewing Charlie Fox’s Pizzeria and Eatery. I soon realized that I posted to the wrong restaurant. I’m not 100% sure if this place is affiliated with the Charlie Fox’s in St. Charles. If not, then I will need to try this place before I can accurately give a review. If they are affiliated, I think the St. Charles location ruined my opinion too much to even try. I’ll need to look into this.

Charlie Fox is to making pizza what Geppetto was to making really creepy dolls; they’re pretty good at it!
I really enjoy their options from the specialty menu and look forward to seeing more on there!

This is our favorite take out or delivery pizza. Everything from the crust to the sauce and all the toppings are delicious. You can’t bet the Monday through Wednesday special of a 16 inch thin crust two topping pizza for 11.99. We always get a sausage mushroom combo. Their sausage is great and the mushrooms are fresh.

Ok… had CF’s pizza tonite. We don’t get it often but it was very good this time. Good thin crust, crunchy and sauce was good. So here is my question… When you order their weekday special…11.99 for a large… is it me or is it completely different? Meaning not nearly as good.

Charlie Fox’s is the best in the area hands down. We get the Large Two-​Topping Thin Crust Special which is super cheap and feeds our family of 4 with no problem. The special is M-​Th only but it’s good for carry out or delivery. We’ve tried the deep dish too and it’s equally as good. The sauce here is special and unlike any other pizza I’ve had. It’s the main reason why we don’t stray and try out too many other pizza joints. We’ve only been living in Batavia for a year so can’t speak for the loss of quality as another reviewer stated. We’ve got no problems with Charlie Fox’s!

The extreme thin is the best pizza I have ever had. This place has ruined all others for me. I live a couple of miles out of there delivery zone and can only get it delivered at work. Sniff sniff :(
If you like thin crust there is no other place

Pizza was ok. Cost/​taste quotient does not correlate. Either lower the price or improve the pizza. Unfortunately not much competition nearby.

Not so fast! I am a 10 year carry out customer at the Batavia location and this place recently has taken a serious nose;dive! Big Time!
Once upon a time the kitchen was bustling with fast paced movement assembling some of the best thin crust pizza around. The kitchen area was full of ‘busy bees” while the phone was ringing off the hook. One individuals sole responsibility was to feed the oven while artfully handling a pizza peel. A thing of beauty watching the intensity of monitoring a blistfully hot oven… pizza in… pizza out… non stop!
No longer the case. A hand full of workers do all the prep. No lobby crowd shoulder to shoulder waiting in anticipation. The ringing phones once a solid backgound hum have been replaced with the sounds of crickets… very quiet at that!
What happened? I will tell you. «Conistency» What is a pizza joint that cant deliver a consistent pie…“In Trouble”!
The toppings are placed haphazard at best. My last pizza had garlic as one of many selections. As I started to eat this I am thinking they forgot the garlic. When I got to the center pieces of the pie I discovered a garlic jackpot in high concentration. This is NO way the first time for this surprise because some times I have to pretend I can taste some.
The placement of sausage is always questionable because quite often the majority of the pieces a void of any at all… often placed light years apart at that. One time I purchased a large $ 10.00 two topping special with sausage. Not hard to figure why they charge only ten bucks for dough and sauce with a guest appearance of cheese.
The best for last. They now apparently perform a top secret application that allows the toppings and cheese to gracefully (and ever so effectively) slide off the crust. Slick! Sometimes in the box, sometimes on your shirt. This has happened more frequently as of late.
I now wear a bib!

We order from here almost weekly, and the pizza is always consistently good, and arrives nice and warm. They have great prices and their delivery drivers have been the same for a number of years., and they are super personable. I would absolutely recommend this place!

This is by far the best pizza in the area. No question. I would venture to say this is the best pizza on the planet. Be warned, after you have Charlie Fox, no other pizza will ever be good enough!
They have a great Mon-​Wed $ 10 Large special (mention the deal when ordering). The pizza does not seem to be quite the same quality as their regular stuff but it’s still decent. An excellent value when you consider the price is comparable to Pizza Hut or some other garbage.

Top-​three pie in the Kane County/​DuPage County region in my book. I’ve yet to have a less-​than-​excellent pizza from this place. Pizzas to try: bacon &onion, pepperoni & green olive, good ol’ cheese and sausage. Delizioso!

Possibly the best pizza in Chicagoland! I’m a big fan of Piece and D’Agostino’s in the city and this is probaby better!
I love love love their extreme thin pizza crust. We ordered the Carnivore and Margerita pizza and had it delivered hot and fresh in about 40 mins.

Ordered up some ‘za after flying home from Florida. One large thin crust cheese and sausage and one small thin crust «butcher» which has meat, meat and more meat.
We had delivery, and it arrived at the time the order taker said it would and it was hot.
Hey, that’s #1 in my book when it comes to delivery pizza. This isn’t the first time we’ve ordered from here but we usually prefer other places.
We’ll order again.
