This is the year for the Bastrop SUPCUP and the event is a 2 day SUP fest. All of the participants are great ambassadors of the sport and the attendees are super friendly. If you have an interest in SUP and want to talk shop, this is the place. Year over Year it has doubled in size but despite that, it doesn’t feel crowded or «overly» sponsored. There is no fee to hang around and watch the races. My favorite is the obstacle course. Paddle around this, jump over the low bar, a race to the finish line was good fun to watch.
