As someone with a history of bad experiences with dentists (and resulting phobia of actually going), it was great to come to an office where everyone understood and did their best to keep me calm and comfortable. Great initial visit.

Friendly and professional staff. He has a true sense of caring. Shows concern for the themselves, not just dental concerns. If you need a dentist in the Bastrop are he is the one to see.

Dr. Byler is incredibly nice and his staff is outstanding. I especially love the dental assistant who does the cleanings. She could be a dentist herself. I wish I could go back there, but my insurance doesn’t cover Dr. Byler anymore since I began a new job. I used to drive from Round Rock to Bastrop just to go to his office.
Each room is equipped with a TV too, so you can watch TV to keep your mind off of things while you wait or at least listen while they work.
The ONLY thing I could say was when I had to get a lot of dental work done, they quoted a price to me without consulting my insurance first. They looked to get my payment all in one chunk and provided a discount which was nice, but out of pocket was still a lot. I wish they had quoted me the full price with insurance up front because then I could’ve just paid with my FSA card in one chunk and sped up each visit.
Overall, though, the office staff is great and I highly recommend Dr. Byler!

My husband and I drive all the way to Bastrop for our dental work. Dr. Byler and his staff are outstanding. Everyone in the office is very nice, outgoing, and professional. They are very accommodating when it comes to our appointments and work us in as quickly as they can. We have been to other dental professionals in the Austin area who have suggested we get unnecessary work done on our mouth, that cost us a fortune. Dr. Byler is a very honest person who is here to help, not take your money! We highly recommend Dr. Byler and his staff.
