King Buffet

Normally I go to a big Chinese buffet in Lakeland called Lings but we were going somewhere near Bartow and wanted Chinese so we went to the King buffet. At first glance it looked similar to most Chinese buffets but there just wasn’t that much food in the pans and over half of the selections had been sitting there for hours dried out from the heat lamps. The sushi looked disgusting and had been sitting there picked over since lunch. I had some cucumber salad that was warm and some soup that was just barely warm. It was a real struggle to find something edible. I was more concerned with avoiding things that might make me sick. The food tables should have been well stocked because it was starting the dinner rush… The buffet was not sparse because it was crowded but as more people came in after us they were having a hard time finding anything to eat… This place is awful and should be inspected by the health department. The bathrooms are a real treat too… Amazing just how bad a place can be and still be in business.

Wasn’t expecting to have such a great experience for 10.25 a person. Such a wide variety of good fresh food even near closing time. Highly recommended.

King Buffet is actually not that bad considering the area its in… I had the sweet and sour pork with fried rice and it really kinda hit the spot. They have a rahter large selection of food and its all you can eat for under $ 10.always a plus with me.
