The lines are long but not as long as the lines in Los Angeles. The employees are great and move the crowd fast. Did you know in the entire fast food industry the only fast food place that has french fries with just 3 ingredients(potatoes, canola/cottonseed oil, salt) is In-N-Out and Five Guys. . other places have fries with as much as 19 ingredients

The price was really good for the amount of food, but the food wasn’t that great or special. I’ve had better cheeseburgers at McDonalds for the same price. I didn’t order off of the secret menu, but did however try my friends animal fries and was not too impressed. The cheese looked like it had been melted on the fries like an hour prior and it was cold, fries were too. The customer service was not good and the person taking my order was rude. I did however try another in-n-out location 4 weeks later and the quality and service was much better.

This is a huge In-N-Out off of the exit in Barstow and it always has customers. I’ve stopped here with friends on the way to Vegas loads of times. This time, we stopped here for lunch on the way back from our weekend in Vegas. It was close to noon so we knew it would be busy. Oddly enough, I ran into two of my uncles here who left earlier in the morning and they were having lunch at In-N-Out after outlet shopping. Small world, and really a testament to how popular In-N-Out is with my family. We ordered and looked around for a table. I think it took me longer to find a table than for our order to be ready for pick-up at the counter. There were plenty of tourists in the area as evident from the giant tour buses outside and it was the lunch rush. Triumphantly, we found a table and happily consumed our food. The reason I love In-N-Out so much is that it is consistent and fresh. The service is excellent and everyone seems to like being there. Busy location, lots of parking, avoid the lunch and dinner rush if you can.

«California, knows how to party, In the city of L.A. …We keep it rockin! We keep it rockin» — 2pac — california love In and out is a cali classic. The food keeps it rockin by providing a simple menu with fresh produce at a reasonable price. Is there any burger chain more popular. Although the lines are always long it is worth the wait. I always get the hamburger animal style with extra grilled onion, crispy fries with chocolate shake Whootie hoot

Quality quality quality. The same at ever store. Very friendly service, cook to order good price — always a satisfying stop. This location has the largest seating by far than was soon near capacity as the tour bus pulled in.

Definitely a must pit-stop when you’re on the way back from Vegas! It’s packed because everyone else has the same idea… BUT the service here was exceptional and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. Our burgers came out in less than 15 minutes(even with 50 other people ahead of us in line) and we devoured it in 15 too.(So much for chewing slowly…) Fries at In-n-Out have always been a turn off for me, but this location did it well! Crispy and not too oily. Parking is ample(ish) but there are other fastfood chains in the area so everyone is fighting for a parking space! Would definitely come here again after a fun night in Vegas…

This In-N-Out is a must when you’re traveling from LA or San Diego and heading toward Vegas! I always tell people that you can tell how busy Vegas is by how busy this In-N-Out is! It is a pretty standard In-N-Out joint and parking seems ample in this area. When it gets busy, it gets busy! One tip is that if you like animal style fries but are lactose intolerant and don’t eat cheese, get the fries and say you want grilled onions on the side. Then ask for a packet of the special sauce and bam, you have your own animal style fries without paying extra! A guy who works at an In-N-Out near me suggested this to me once and I never have to pay extra for animal style fries(no cheese) again!

HOW? HOW do they do it??? This place was more crowded than I have EVER seen it. It was a sunday night @ dinnertime PACKED! I drove around the parking lot three times to no avail. Parked next door HUGE line of people waiting on the food they blew out the taking of the orders. NOLINES ?? HOW? I swear in 10 minutes, they blew thru the throngs of peeps waiting for their food too! AMAZING! perfection! We order the PROTEIN animal style hamburger(no bun)!-very fresh tasting!

This is probably the biggest In-N-Out Burger I have ever been to. Of course, the chain itself is amazing, one of the best fast food joints anywhere. It’s healthier, simpler, quicker and cleaner. As busy as this place was, it didn’t take any longer than usual to get my order. Customer service is spot on as always. Prices are great and the value is excellent. There is much more seating here than any In-N-Out I’ve been too. However, with such a high volume and big layout, I found this store to be lacking in cleanliness compared to others I’ve visited. My only suggestion is having employees clean the lounge more often. Overall, In-N-Out is fantastic and this location, much like all other locations, is worth checking out if you haven’t been.

I can’t say I’ve had a bad burger at an In N Out anywhere, but on a drive back to Vegas, being tired and hungry, I had a stellar experience at this bustling location. Located off of Lenwood Rd, the exit before the exit to the touristy Route 66 main road, this store has 2 ladies restrooms with multiple stalls and much to be appreciated overall. Must appreciate that there was zero waiting in line for the ladies room. The restrooms looked great, the store looked great, the parking lot looked great. There were employees circling the inside and out doing sweeps for trash and cleaning tables. I appreciated that they were out in the parking lot, because I noticed many homeless, around other restaurants, but not so much here. Having that presence definitely discourages people from setting up shop outside. Before I sat down, an employee stopped me and said, «Here, let me wipe this down for you before you are seated.» Wow, awesome job guys! As busy as it was, an employee was paying attention to guests and swept up a stray napkin that he noticed was concealed in a corner under the table real quick before we sat down, too. The staff were all so smiley when we asked for the little hat and stickers for our son, even though it pulled them away for a minute from their station(I sometimes get grumbles for asking for extra things or kid’s crayons, coloring sheets, etc… at other restaurants and such.) As we left, we took our fries for the road and the girl calling out order numbers saw us and stopped what she was doing, asked if we wanted a bag, and even preloaded ketchup packets into it. Holy crap, it doesn’t get much better than this whole experience! We all noticed what a great job they are doing here! Oh, and of course, the burgers were great, too!

This In n Out is huge. Plenty of seating, parking and a nice long drive thru lane. Service and burgers were great, as usual. Fast, friendly and delicious!

Like all In-n-outs I’ve been to this one is busy! No surprise there. And like all of them, the food is delicious! I think this is the only one in Barstow, so that may be why it’s so busy, plus it’s right off the major freeway. Stopped here twice on our road trip to LA. Food was great as always and service same as usual. No complaints. Got the double-double burger animal style. And animal style fries. Which is freakin awesome. Unhealthy, sure, but awesome. Only small negative thing is that the drive through line is small so cars have to line up kinda weird.

The largest In N Out I’ve ever been to. Lunch stop on the way to Vegas. The production line is amazing, kudos to the staff at this location. The turnover rate is quick, the food is as good as in the city. Love the packets of 1000 island. French fries! Need I say more

Why is an In-N-Out getting only 3 stars? You’re such a hater! I’ll tell you why. So I was on my way to Vegas when my aunt needed a lunch stop. We were near Barstow(one of three cities you can stop on the way to Vegas from LA) and decided to get In-N-Out. I was like, I only need fries because I had just eaten an hour and a half ago. We walk in and we see something that makes my eyes shudder. There is a line… a line with 30 people in it. It took up most of the front of the store. They have a lot of tables too and most tables were filled up! It took about 15 – 20 minutes to get through the line to get to the front of the line and place our order. Fries, well done. With special sauce. Always something that you can love. What can I say, their fries, well done are great. And to top if off with special sauce? Mhm. They’re good. Not the best in-n-out fries, but still good. It’s nice to know that people here are courteous and don’t mind the waits. And props to the employees for continuously taking in orders and making everything, even when a huge line is in front waiting to attack you for your food.

Single file line, order up! Large seating area at this In-N-Out, seems like a lot of travelers come through this area. Good solid food, didn’t mess up my order. It’s In-N-Out and I had a fantastic time eating their burgers here like I do at any other location(:

I love this In N Out location because it is very conveniently located between LA and Vegas. In the desert city of Barstow, this place is within a few block off the 15 freeway. This place is bigger than most places of its kind, and has considerably more foot traffic. Yet, they work more efficiently here than most other location that I’ve been to. The last time I was here was en route to Vegas for the New Year countdown. Even then, the workers were efficient, and had a good attitude. Cheers to good service!

2015 Unilocal100CHALLENGE — 056⁄100 Great rest stop food if you’re traveling through Barstow. My boyfriend and I stopped here last night on the way from Vegas to LA. This is a HUGE In N Out. Probably the biggest one I’ve ever been to. They have a huge amount of tables/seating, and a big line area too. I guess it was designed to accommodate a lot of people as a popular rest stop destination! Despite this place being packed on a Sunday night, we only stood in line for less than 5 minutes before ordering. Lots of cashiers open, and they all worked very quickly and efficiently. However, it took a long time to get our food. Our order number was #23 and after we ordered we noticed they were calling out order #75. Took awhile to get out food. They also called the numbers out not in order so it was confusing trying to predict when ours would come out. For some reason they had two different womens’ restrooms… which I found odd, but also awesome because they weren’t as busy since you could choose which one to go into. The biggest downside to this place was that I felt it wasn’t very clean or sanitized. Too many people dining and coming and out that I felt the employees weren’t able to clean or wipe down the tables in between parties. I also noticed the sauce, napkin, etc. dispensers were empty. Plz refill!

Everybody loves In-N-Out so there’s a bit of the halo effect phenomenon going on when I want to write a review about this place but due to the location, efficiency of the staff and overall pricing of the food, it’s a pretty solid bet for a pit-stop when making that long, high desert drive. People love In-N-Out’s burgers. Do I love In-N-Out’s burgers? I think they’re just okay. They aren’t huge, there isn’t a lot of meat unless you go 4×4,they’re loaded with calories(570 per double double) and even with their«animal style» sauce, their flavor is just a little over«decent». However, with pretty moderately cheap pricing, when on the road they will suffice. So after not having an In-N-Out for years, I opted for a Double Double«Animal Style» and although the line was pretty long and the place was packed, due to the efficiency of the In-N-Out staff, I had my burger in hand in about 10 minutes. The burger was decent but far from filled me up, even with an order of fries. However, I think they cost like $ 3.80 or something so that isn’t too bad. Regardless, this is probably your best burger bet pit-stop on that desert stretch to Vegas, Laughlin or wherever the heck it is that you’re going. It might not be the best burger you’ve ever had but it can potentially feed that craving when you’re going to be looking at nothing but dirt, sand and sun for the next few hours.

Barstow has become our default pit stop when travelling to or from Vegas to LA. We have stopped at this In-N-Out location a couple of times to refuel during the journey. As this is in a high traffic area it is always busy with big lines. The good news is that the line moves pretty fast and orders are fulfilled quickly in line with other In-N-Out locations. The other good news is that unlike a lot of In-N-Out locations that are nothing more than a hole in the wall type drive through places this has a large eating area where we were able to find a seat despite the huge crowd. Lastly the people behind the counter are courteous. Unfortunately this is where the good news stops. I generally stick to my standard order of a Double-Double, fries and chocolate milk shake. The burgers are under-seasoned whereas the fries are extremely salty. The burgers feel dry and overcooked. The fries are fried to a crisp. The milkshake is not sweet enough for my taste but I’m sure it will appeal to the not-too-sweet crowd. I guess I’m so used to eating crap burgers from other fast food places that I am unable to appreciate the greatness of the In-N-Out burger. But that’s just me, your experience may vary.
