Tip Top Tap

I literally felt like I was drinking in a hotel lounge. There’s even a grand piano right when you walk in. Beautiful ambience and décor, and the bar stools are the comfiest I’ve ever sat on. Drinks are also not too pricey for this type of cocktail bar. There were only a few other people on a Thursday night, but I guess that’s expected on a non-​weekend. Our bartender, male, was cute and friendly! Overall, Tip Top Tap was a nice stop for a drink.

If you have been searching for your pre-​dinner, post-​dinner, out for a few with the guys place, I think this may be it… For those who remember what a bar is supposed to be about, and both appreciate and miss this feeling… you may just belong here !
There are plenty of places in and around Barrington to get a drink, but this is a true bar/​lounge with interesting people who are not afraid to converse with one another.
When you first pull up, it will not look interesting or special from the outside, but as soon as you enter and order a drink you will feel as if you have returned to your favorite bar from wherever it is you come from…
Bartenders — Fantastic (whether with my wife or with buddies)
Vibe — Relaxed and fun, exactly what a bar is supposed to feel like
Drinks — Generous, and just sophisticated enough to attract and retain a crowd of anywhere from 30 – 60 y/o’s
This is just like that cool place you found in the City that only a few folks knew about, but were afraid to tell too many of your friends for fear of it being ruined.

Wow! Great experience at a new Barrington hot spot. Stopped in to give it a try and fell in love with the bartenders. Made some great drinks and had some good convos. Give it a shot if you’re tired of the typical Barrington bar scene

Stumbled upon this hole in the wall on a snowy night and was more than happy! This diamond in the rough is sparkling new and is serving up some delicious cocktails. Stop in for a drink while you wait for a table at Ciao Baby. Will definitely be back! Say hi to Miles the bartender ;)
