I love their pizza. It’s the best thin crust pizza around. Their Italian beef is very good but it varies On the amount of beef you get by who makes it. If the owner or owner’s son makes your sandwich you will get a nice fat juicy sandwich but if the young slender girl makes it, there won’t be much meat and it will be dry.

Great pizza, used to sneak away from recess at St. Anne’s to go get a pie. That was in 1984, still taste the same. Good job Nick.!!

If you want the same exact pizza and experience you had some 30 odd years ago, stroll on in to the Pizza Factory. I’ve been enjoying this traditional square cut thin crust pizza for decades. May I stress it is the same quality and taste throughout all these years? It had been quite some time since I had been in(I no longer live here) but at first bite I was instantly time warped back to my childhood. So good! It’s not gourmet by any means, but pure traditional Chicago pizza. The interior is very simple and hasn’t changed much over time, except for some paint. Plenty of booths and a large, old school counter for ordering. The juke box of yesteryear is long gone, but the window for the kids to watch the pizzas being made is still there. My kids absolutely love it. I’ll admit it is still mesmerizing to me as well. Pizza Factory is still what it always was: traditional, simple, and damn good.

I had an issue with an order and the owner Nick acknowledged the mistake and very professionally resolved the matter.

It’s a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. We got a large pizza with olives and mushrooms and there was not a bare inch. Unlike competitor pizzerias that will put 10 olives on the whole pizza, you get toppings in every bite!

This place has been a personal favorite of mine for over 30 years. Thin crust, sauce that is not too sweet, and great selection of toppings to fit every taste. I have moved out and back into the area several times over the years and anytime we return, either for a visit or as another relocation back ‘home’, this is one of, in not our first, stops. Don’t often stray from the pizza, but when I have tried other menu offerings, they have been great. My daughter says their meatball sub is the best she has ever had. Good people working there too as service has always been very good. Try it. Go ahead, I think you will like it too!

I came in today for the first time since I was a kid. We didn’t get pizza, but some sandwiches, fries, and garlic bread. The employee seemed very impatient doe us to order, but it’s going to take me a second because I’ve effectively never been here before. Their attitude made me not even want to order. We placed our order, and I asked if I could bacon on my cheese dog(since I checked, and you can get it on pizza). I would have been happy to pay for the bacon(though apparently bacon is a ‘premium ingredient’ and is 1.50 extra to have it on a pizza, in addition to the minimum 75 cent charge for a topping — that’s for a calzone, for a pizza it starts at 1.40), but was told after they checked with the senior employee, «the bacon isn’t strips, it’s sized for pizza.» I said, «that’s ok, crumbles would be fine too» and was told«No, it’s just for pizza. « I’ve never had a place tell me I couldn’t add bacon, unless bacon wasn’t present. I’ve always been told«ok, it’s a small charge» — which I’m fine with. Apparently pizza factory doesn’t want my money, unless it’s with their rules. After ordering, it took an incredibly long time to make our uncomplicated order, and upon just arriving home, our fries are lukewarm. We live less than 3 minutes away, and I’ve driven home from the Wendy’s in Lake Zurich(at least 10 min) and had my Wendy’s fries be warmer than this when we got home. This started out as a 2 star order based off my interaction with the staff, the fries sealed it. At least the garlic bread is hot(though it has a sad lack of flavor). Also, reading the owners comment on a previous review regarding the«freshness» of their ingredients(he claims people know only to expect the sauce, peppers, and tomatoes to be fresh) — their menu board even claims the mozzarella and basil is fresh. I’d rather get the cheapest frozen pizza Jewel has than eat here again(even if my meal here was free).

Simply not worth the risk. I tasted both the pizza and a sausage sandwich. Tasteless! As a trained food handler I was upset to see no evidence what so ever of formal food safety and sanitation practices. A visit from the health department and this place gets shut down. Not even basic hand washing before handling your food. Stand there and watch, then walk !

So we seriously wanted to try this place we pass it all the time and heard it was good. We called to see if they delivered to lake barrington/Wauconda area they said try lake zurich location we did they didn’t deliver to us either so we decided to call back Barrington to pick up. The first time I called, the girl who answered said to hold which meant she set the phone on the counter for 5 min while her and another employee talked in English and Spanish about a mistake she had made I waited 5 min and no one came back so I hung up. My husband called 5 more times to just be hung up on each time. It was only 7:30 they weren’t closed yet I guess the employees didn’t want anymore customers we really wanted to try it & that’s why we kept calling but we gave up and went back to our usual pizza place. It’s unfortunate cause they must be losing a lot of customers this way.

When we moved to town I heard nothing but great things about this place.. . wow these people don’t know what good pizza is! It takes every bit of 1 hour for delivery and that goes for any night of the week. Last time our driver literally dropped our pizza and salad in the snow. I opened the bag w/the salad to find water everywhere. The pizza box felt lopsided and when I opened it the entire pizza was a mess. Words cannot describe this. In all my years of ordering pizza I have NEVER received a pizza that had been dropped. To make matters worse when I contacted them they acted as if it wasn’t their fault. Umm perhaps you should instruct your drivers to take it easy out there! No apology was offered and not even so much as a credit for this mess of cheese and sausage I did not plan to eat. The salad was quickly tossed since it was tossed on the ground previously. Don’t waste your time or your money when there are so many better places in the area!

This review is for the new location in Lake Zurich. We’ve ordered from here twice, and both times the pizza was delicious. We had a sausage and a veggie, both great! However, don’t order the calzone, it’s more like a quesadilla… Also, I hope they change their mushrooms to real mushrooms instead of canned. Canned mushrooms just ruined what could have been an A+ pizza.

I’ve passed by this place dozens of times and finally stopped in with a few friends this past Sunday. Overall had a good experience here. The staff was friendly and prompt, and gladly put tables together for our larger group of 7. The pizza itself is pretty good as well, but still not the best thin crust I’ve had in the NW burbs. Definitely worth a try though if you haven’t been here before.

This really is the best pizza around. We moved twenty minutes away and still come here becuase we can’t find anything else we like as much. I like the atmosphere, the singing staff, and pretty much everything about the place. The beefs are good and I noticed now they make their own wing sauce. I like to save room for pizza so have not tried them yet.

Well, for the first time I ordered something different than my usual double pepperoni — it was Hawaiian pizza — well, even though it is not my style and favorite — it was delicious. Just as good as my typical order. Also, this time knowing I am going to post this update I did pay closer attention to the place itself. Well, the product — the pizza is top notch — delicious, fantastic, fresh, tasty — you choose your adjective. The place — not so much. It really needs remodeling and some fresh paint. It’s so old and not good looking that it actually may turn people off if they walk in and don’t know how really good the pizza is. Come on guys — fix it up!

I actually have not tried their pizza, even though I’ve been here over a dozen times. For some reason, I always order either cheesy garlic bread or a cheese dog. Prices are pretty good. The owner is always there when I go in; he’s pretty friendly & I can tell he’s good at managing the place. I once asked for carmelized onions & they were nice & accommodating about it. I felt like a pest describing what I wanted, but got ‘em just how I like em! We always get their coupons in the mail; there is always a 15% your order coupon that I use. The new hanging menu is made out of those wooden boards used for placing pizza in the oven; very cute touch. Place is always very clean, too. I like looking at the photos on the wall while I wait for my food. They have TVs in there, too. Maybe one of these days I’ll actually order a pizza from Pizza Factory! My mom has had it & said it was pretty good.

I live in Dundee and would absolutely say I’d become a regular, I’m hooked. I grew up on the NW Side of Chicago and this is hands down the closest to a genuine«City» Za I’ve ever has. Keep up the great food guys can’t wait to try the beef’s!
