I’m so grateful for the team at Top Techs. Drove down to LBI this past week to visit with friends. On the drive down, my beloved 2003 Subaru started sputtering and hesitating. I know this car like the back of my hand and was fairly certain that it was a cylinder/​spark plug problem. It made me super anxious because my plan was to spend a couple of final summer days at the beach and then drive back to NYC to be in class two days later. Tom at Top Techs got my car in for diagnosis, listened to my concerns, DIDN’T DISMISS ME AS A PAIN IN THE ASS, confirmed my suspicions about cylinders and spark plugs (really needed a big ol tune up) and in 24 hours my Subaru was up and humming again. Got to spend time with my friends. Got to class without a problem. And now my car is good to go for a while. Super grateful.

Had a car problem with my 2004 ACURA TSX while on vacation on Long Beach Island. Top Techs took me right away and Tom and his crew diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly, professionally and reasonably. I did quite a bit of web research and their solution was exactly what the symptoms indicated.
They even called me a few days later to thank me for my business.
They have loaner bikes available — What a great idea.

Danny and the entire service team are top notch.
Everyone in my family takes their cars here for service.
They are honest, hard working, attentive and fair. It’s a family owned and operated business and they seem to treat all of their customers like they’re part of the family.
Brought a used care I had just purchased in for general servicing and an oil change. A multi point inspection, battery test and overall inspection of the vehicle were included with the price. They ensured me I had made a great purchase and that everything was well maintained and that the car should treat me well for years to come. If you’re in the Manhawkin/​Barnegat area and need a mechanic Top Techs should be your go to spot.

They found my parasitic energy drain that was killing my battery. It took a week, but that was WAY better than the dealer was willing to do. Also, the estimate was much less than Acura wanted to charge me. They did the work and also gave me a 50 point checklist, highlighting other work that needed to be done. This is a family-​owned business with excellent techs and NOT a bunch of scrubs. Still 5 stars. Any one in the Barnegat vicinity who is sick of getting ripped by your dealer would do well to call them.
