No longer Days Inn.(Now Super Inn Downtown.) Hoping for a good value, but was dirty with poor service. Weak wifi connection. Cockroach and spiderwebs. Dirty breakfast area.

Well, they don’t get too excited about cleaning or even general maintenance, so if you are planning on staying at a nice spot across from the romantic my old Kentucky Dinner Train look elsewhere. However, if you are here for work and want a cheap place to stay walking distance to downtown with a fridge and microwave this is the place for you. $ 41.00 per night.

First of all, the place that we stayed at was on third st. so i’m not sure if this is the same place. The pictures here are definitely where we stayed though and there is not another days inn in bards town, so i think this address may be a typo. First of all, for 55 dollars it is hard to expect a whole lot from any place. This hotel is truly a motel, and it is very old and i would agree with another person’s review, «not well-maintained.» The front staff were very friendly and nice, but the motel itself was very disappointing. It just doesn’t feel clean(we slept in sleeping bags on top of some very dirty looking sheets and blankets). There was a recliner in the room that looked super old and like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The staff said that the hotel had wifi but it doesn’t actually connect in the room or if it does the signal is so bad that you can’t do anything at all with it. The upside: it was snowing outside and the heater in the room was super amazing and powerful and worked well. The bedding and the pillows and the lack of cleanliness were the total downfalls for us. I gave it 2 stars because of the low price. If I had paid any more money, it would have been a one star review. We would not stay here again unless we were desperate.

3 words. «this place sucked». Was not a days inn. In fact it was called the sun inn but was still using the days inn logo and name online. This place was very old and not well maintained. Staff was very rude and dismissive. I would not suggest any to stay here.

I have relaxed expectations when staying at inexpensive hotels but this place was just too dirty. There were several hairs around the sink and in the shower. The shower had someone else’s used washcloth hanging from an inside rung. The door frame to the bathroom was covered in crud and many of the walls were discolored or had someting on them. It’s too bad because they are nice walking distance into Bardstown and their front desk staff were very nice.

Well definitely a Meh. The room itself was pretty clean and the beds fairly comfortable. The clientele hanging around were a little shady, and the managers English was definitely a distant second language although they were nice. Bardstown doesn’t have a lot of options but unless its super cheap you can probably do better.
