Tiny little place in what appears to be a free-standing one-car garage. This, I do not understand, but they have an excellent selection of deliciousness at reasonable prices.

As a cheese lover, this was a good place to find and buy cheese. This is a nice small place in Hulls Cove on the way to Bar Harbor. Not far from the Chart Room, so a good place to buy wine and cheese after you have lunch/dinner and take back to your hotel room or cook with. I’m not a drinker, so I can’t comment on the wine, but that cheese is really good. I brought three kinds of cheese,(Brillat Savarin, Blue Cheese, and a hard goat cheese). The brie was very good, very creamy and melts right in your mouth. Good to put on sandwiches and crackers. The blue cheese was really good. Goes great with salads and the hard goat cheese I used on my pasta dishes which mixed in really well. :D Anyway, this is a GREAT place to find different kinds of cheese that can’t be brought anywhere else on Mount Desert Island as far as I know. I suggest if you want to drink some great wine and eat good cheese this would be the place to go and if you’re having a party, I’d suggest buying your wine and cheese here. The people are really nice who own the place and it’s a nice small business that’s on the way to Bar Harbor. Oh, and there’s this sticker/label that they have that has pictures of farm animals and they check off what animal the milk came from. The place on route three and there’s a sign that reads«Wind and Wine», so you can’t miss it!!! :D Anyway, GREATPLACETODOWINEANDCHEESESHOPPING!!!
