We really enjoy the food and the staff. Very friendly and interesting. The owner/chef, Dominick is from England and provides delicious, authentic culinary fare. They offer to-go entrees like chicken pot pies and lasagna. Soups are made fresh and their desserts are worth the splurge.

After Zip Lining, we asked for a recommendation for a good lunch place nearby. We are so glad we came. I wish we could take this place back to Dallas. Our family had 3 sandwiches(NY Deli, Reuben, & Ham) and loved them all. The tomatoes in the ham sandwich were amazing! We ordered 3 desserts(2 pies and a cake) and loved the mixed berry pie the best though all were good. We were glad to have come early since people were waiting outside for tables to clear by the time we left.

Outstanding food and friendly service. Easily missed as it is tucked in a corner of a strip mall.

My husband and I eat here all the time for lunch when we are over in Banner Elk. That is if there are any tables left. They are opened for Lunch 11 – 3 Tuesday-Saturday. We haven’t been able to eat here for dinner, which is served once a week on Thursdays, which I believe you need reservations for, but I’m sure it is just as good. Wonderful homemade food and deserts. Very small place, family owned and operated, so don’t be upset if there isn’t a table for you. Just keep going back. They also have prepared food for you to take and enjoy for dinner at home. If you don’t have room for desert. do a take out.

You almost miss this place on your way to somewhere else. But like most gems, Eat Crow is a dining treasure. It’s not pretentious or formal. It reminds you of slower paced times. They provide only lunch which is tragic but also part or what leaves you wanting more. They do provide an assortment of dinner pies to-go which allows you to claim their culinary creations as your own(if you are disingenuously inclined). I highly recommend the Santa Fe All Day Burrito, which rivaled any I have found at traditional Mexican restaurants. I am so glad I adhered to the speed limits in Foscoe otherwise I would have tragically passed right by this delightful little restaurant.

The name of this place was never appealing to me but we tried it out of desperation since no one serves a good lunch in Banner Elk anymore. I had crab cake over Lebanese rice and chickpea salad. Incredible. My husband had the burrito which blew the Mexican restaurants away. The place is small so we sat outside and it gets packed so go early or late. Best lunch in town!

Excellent service and the food is wonderful. Watch out for the dessert case it’s filled with homemade cakes and pies. I would recommend this place highly.

I never write reviews but this place was too amazing not to. And the owner is one of the nicest guys I have met. They left their open light on late the other night by accident and I snuck in thinking I might try the place. But rather then send me away, the guy whipped me up a steak & ale pie. It was amazing! I fed it to my whole family and got rave reviews. I grew up eating savory pies in England and this was every bit as good if not better than what I had there. My only complaint is the hours because I would stop in every night and get dinner or a pie there if I could.

Outstanding! We had heard from friends about this little hidden place tucked in a strip center in Foscoe. It was a VERY good spot for a Saturday lunch in the High Country. Fresh Roast Beef Sandwich with Blue Cheese Slaw and Egg Salad and Watercress with Firecracker slaw… both on fresh baked sourdough. Yum! Will definitely be back!

Eat Crow is an exceptional restaurant. They have a wonderful lunch menu as well as an assortment of «made fresh» take-out items. The food is delicious, the staff are wonderful, and the owners are the best. Don’t miss the three course dinners on alternating Thursday nights. A culinary treat. Eat Crow is one of the greatest jewels in this area.

Small, personal, not a chain and delicious! I have never done their special dinners but lunch is good eaten in or as a take out. Take home foods are also delish — they have a wide variety of soups and pot pies to take for later as well as lots of homemade pies and cakes. Small interior so go early for lunch or on the late side to get a table.

Special ordered 3 steak and ale pasties for my dad, who is Scottish. Dominic, the chef, came out to explain what he would make for me. Tasted great! I only wish we discovered it earlier on our trip.
