Definitely eat before you go! Drinks were fantastic but the chorizo quesadilla’s were salty and the tacos needed the fixings– salsa, sour cream and guac– they were dry and flavorless. The chips were stale and the guac was pre made– no flavor!

Mediocre bland food, unreasonably slow service, and a great view. Seems like many people like this place for its drinks, however I do not recommend for lunch.

Matt is a great bartender. He is knowledgable about all the tequila. He is attentive and he gave us suggestions on certain drinks. I brought my friend from out of town and I am impressed with the service we received here!

I really wanted to like Woody’s. Stepping off of the water taxi in Fell’s Point, this stuck out at me like a shimmering ball of refreshment. The look of the open window’s overlooking the water seemed like the perfect place for a cool drink and some good food. The reviews seemed good so we made out way up the stairway to what I assumed would be heaven. Once we reached the peak, we entered a simple room with a great view. There was a small, 4 stool bar on one end with some high top’s and booths and tables throughout the remainder of the room. We noticed two servers, both kind of staring out into the great abyss, and one bartender. We were told to seat ourselves so we selected a high top by the bar area. Without knowing their operation, we were at first annoyed that both servers were standing talking to each other. After several minutes, the bartender came by and provided two menus and took our drink order. Here is the good, the margaritas were excellent. Very well made. After providing them he returned to the bar and appeared to get lost on the register. We made our food choices and attempted to get his attention to no avail. Having been a bartender, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he was having register issues, maybe just spun from a busy afternoon. We waited patiently… and waited, and waited. Finally, a group of local hipsters came in and took up position at the bar, one was so intoxicated that he took two attempts to sit at the bar. Now I am one for a good nights partying but this idiot was loud and stumbling. This apparently was not noticed by the bartender who was confined to a VERY small area just inches from this guy. So as we sat there looking like we needed attention, two additional employees entered the small bar area from another section of the business and spent about 10 more minutes of the bartenders time. Nobody here seemed to care about us and two other tables by the bar. At this point, the other tables were going up to the bar to place additional orders and request their check. If that dosent trigger a «I need to check on my customers» alert, I dont know what does. We finally ended the experience by going to him to ask for our check and I left the smallest tip in 30 some years of bar hopping. I would NOT ever go back. We found another place with similar food a block away and were glad to give the our business.

I’ve never tried food from here but man do I love their drinks. This is such a nice summer spot, the sides of the bar are open air which is so nice when its hot as eff outside because you get that nice breeze. The view is super nice too. I’ve had the sangria, pain killer(which comes in 3 levels), hurricane, rum punch, and a couple of frozen drinks. They are all good and make you wish you were at the beach. Service is always quick and friendly.

Amazing view, Terrible service. We are very patient, and decided maybe the server didn’t see that we had sat down(at a dirty table that hadn’t been bused yet), so we flagged him to show him there was money on the table for him. He was very unfriendly, but he did clean the table for us and brought menus… then we sat, and sat… and watched other people having to go order at the bar. Sooooo… I went up to bar, trying again to be patient(they were very busy), finally got that bartender’s attention and asked about a draft beer from the menu. He said, «no, this isn’t the amber, it’s a lager,» and when I hesitated, because I didn’t want a lager, he went on to the next person to take their order. As I stood there contemplating how bad we’d been treated thus far, I decided we saw the view, and there was no point in working so hard to give them our business. If you have the time and patience, it is a nice view. But don’t expect much else.

The only cool thing about this place is the view. The service is terrible and the kitchen staff must be incompetent. We went here on a Sunday at 2pm. There were 2 empty tables. Initially it wasn’t packed. We ordered our food at 2. We ordered chips and salsa, Carne Asada tacos and the Margarita wings. 15 minutes later we still didn’t have our chips and salsa. When I asked they seemed confused. I said, «I would like them brought out before the food… like as an appetizer.» Waitress response: «If you want them as an appetizer and brought out before the food you have to specify that to your waitress». What cave did they crawl out of? Chips and salsa are a standard appetizer in my life experience. So finally our chips were brought out. The pico was bland. Our food didn’t come out until 34 minutes after we ordered it. The table next to us got their food before us even though they ordered after us. We were in a hurry at that point and asked for it in a to-go box. I opened my to-go box to check my carne asada tacos and one of the soft corn tortillas was completely torn in half. Why would they take 34 minutes to serve me a broken ass taco? I shoveled in my tacos in record time because I was starving. They needed salt. My husband took his home to eat. When he opened his to-go box at home he noticed they didn’t include the wing sauce. The wings were just plain old soggy bland wings on a bed of wilted greens. I’m pretty disappointed the experience was so annoying.

Good fish tacos and a great nachos combo — the Rum punch is a MUST!

This place has a great view of the harbor and a really relaxed atmosphere. The food is okay, but I think the ambiance and good drinks bring people in. The only real complaint I have is those steep steps leading up to the bar. Definitely worth trying during the day for a great view!

Just stopped in for some drinks on a Saturday. Ambiance is odd… feels like a diner to me. Guess I just wish they were more bar than restaurant.

I’ve eaten Woody’s tacos before from their food truck but hadn’t been to the restaurant until this past week. I love that it’s located on the third floor of a building with open windows that push through a nice breeze. Fells Point is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Baltimore and this birds eye view is amazing. I was very disappointed with the tacos though! I had the Jerk Chicken Mango tacos and the chicken pieces were super dry and large pieces making it hard to bite into the taco easily. The mango salsa and the slaw were a bit tangy and did not taste like they usually do.

You have to go way-way up the stairs but worth the exercise… good run drinks… had the shrimp coconut curry and was completely satisfied… nice view of the water… will come back next time in Baltimore!

Great atmosphere, decent drinks with many choices. Stay away from the food though, or bring your own microwave dinner. It’ll taste better than theirs!

Good ambience, food average. The view was great but since the food sucks I expect people could come here for evening drinks. The dishes that had a Tex-Mex description were uniformly sprinkled with tortilla chips. You know, the kind that has that random red tortilla chip.

Drinks at Woody’s were ok. Hanging out in Fells Point on Friday night. Prices are very reasonable. Had a drink called the Pain Killer it was all that. Feeling good. Serves was just ok.

Fantastic cocktails and view of the Harbor! I love this place on warm days because the windows draw in a nice breeze. I also enjoy the people watching. One draw back is their food. I am not a huge fan of the food. I do like the flatbread but other than that the calamari is a little bland and they do not offer wings in regular flavors. The cocktails are great but eat next door instead!

Woody’s is maybe my favorite warm weather spot in Baltimore. It’s on the third floor right at the corner of Thames and Broadway with two walls of windows, one facing into the harbor. The music is always great mellow reggae or something very similar in vibe. The drinks are good, they have a ton of rum. The actual name of my favorite«cocktail» eludes me presently, but it makes me feel like Hunter Thompson sitting on a beach in San Juan. You choose from a variety of rum styles and order the amount and you get a platter with an empty glass, a glass of rum, a glass of simple syrup, and a glass of limes and you mix your own cocktail as you like. The burger has always been incredible and is even better now with pineapple and ham!!! Seriously, try the burger. On Monday’s they’re $ 7 all day and you can also get $ 5 pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris! There is limited seating though so try to get there early if you want to be sure you’ll find a table.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Woody’s on a trip to the Port of Baltimore. This location epitomizes what I think of when I look for Seafood in the area! Besides how can you fault any restaurant that lists Hush Puppies as a Fresh Vegetable! :-) This place has a dock side décor that matches the awesome fresh seafood offerings. The menu is large and everything sounds great. I went with a two Soft Shell Crab Special with Asparagus and Hush Puppies. The crab was fried in a salty dark batter and accompanied by a corn relish. The asparagus were perfectly cooked. The Hush Puppies were crispy and relatively light. My biggest regret was that I couldn’t eat it all. The meal was perfect. If I had to pick out one relatively small flaw, they only had Decaffeinated Coffee. Woody’s is a solid five star Baltimore Seafood restaurant with a family feel. This place is great for entertaining!

I don’t know if today was a fluke or what but I thought the fish tacos were terrible. There were only two small pieces of fish in each taco. They were pretty pathetic looking and tasting tacos. I came here for a business lunch so I was limited on what to order for drinks. Our table just ordered fish tacos and the Chicken Jerk wrap. Overall… food was bleh. My co-worker and I complained about how«runny» the tacos were. When was the last time you heard about someone complain about tacos like that? ew. I held up my taco and a bunch of liquid would just pour out… Not sure if I’ll be coming back… I’m somewhat interested in coming back to try out their drinks ’cause the place always seems to be packed during the weekends.

I dig the diamonds in the rough… and Woody’s is close to diamond status. It’s stellar views of the harbor and Fells Point are enough to sell you. Most people wouldn’t know about this place unless you really pay attention and look up to see tables. It’s a nice place to go and enjoy a local football game on Sunday afternoon, or to kick back and enjoy a few of the local beverages after a long week’s work. The food is pretty good but I would say the prices are a little higher than expected. I expect that the place doesn’t do much business, therefore causing such higher prices? That’s just me assuming there… but $ 10 for nachos(w/no meat) and $ 7 for an 8oz strawberry daiquiri, well — that’s a high asking price. Overall, I dig the atmosphere and the low-key patrons. If you can’t find the place. just look to the left of Maggie Moo’s and Slainte and you’ll see a long staircase. If you follow up to the top, you’ll be amazed by the views alone that you won’t turn around.

Only came here because I was walking down the street, heard music, and looked up. You would never know this place was here if someone didn’t tell you. Went up to the bar and sat out for about an hour enjoying drinks and the view. If you want a nice chill spot to relax and enjoy a couple drinks this is the perfect spot. The prices on drinks were reasonable. I can’t comment on the food because I didn’t try any of it. Loved the environment and the waitress/bartender provided excellend service, I guess this was partly because there was hardly anyone there.
