I purchased a Groupon for an organic carpet cleaning. I was attracted to this deal because it had an option for a small square footage(up to 700 sq ft). I wanted to have a bedroom of a 1 bedroom condo cleaned(the rest of the condo has hardwood floors). I read all the details of the deal and noticed that the service area was several counties in MD. However, I noticed that the first question another person asked was whether the deal included Arlington, VA. The vendor replied yes( ). But just to be sure, I called and spoke with Jai and he confirmed that my area(Falls Church) was also included. So I made my purchase. Fast forward a few months, when I spoke with Jai again to schedule my cleaning, he says that Falls Church is not included. Instead of arguing with him, I just said that I would take it up with Groupon. Groupon was GREAT about refunding what I paid and explaining how they track and handle customer issues with vendors, so it worked out for me in the end. One other note that should have tipped me off and kept me from this company is — the website doesn’t list an address. And when I’ve called the number listed, I always have to leave a message and wait for a callback. On the occasion when I was trying to schedule the cleaning, it took 2 days for Jai to call me back. Very poor customer service in my opinion.
