This is the worst place I’ve ever lived sense I moved out on my own 40 years and never ever, Towson Crossing is the worst never again, they’re liars, I’ll tell you don’t waste your time, the apartments aren’t worth the time or money patched up, washer and dryer don’t work sorry ass place

I went against all reviews here and leased here anyway. I wish more people rated these apartments. I am TU alumni and knew of these apartments. What made these appealing is the location. Everyone in the leasing office at the time seemed so friendly and business oriented of course because they are commissioned once you move in. That changed the week of move in. The move-in coordinator was on leave and the leasing office completely dropped the ball as if no one else was trained to do the job. My lock was broken for the first 4 days, the parking lot was icy, I was not allowed to see the unit prior to receiving the keys as requested, my leasing agent filled out the walk-through form not noting the imperfections and I did not receive a copy of my lease. My water is only hot for about 60 seconds and tub drain causes bath water to turn brown. Maintenance«fixed» this issue by placing a rubber stopper in my bathroom that is too large for the drain. I also typically do not have a parking space in my lot or for the next 3 buildings so I have to talk a nice walk lugging my bags upon returning home. I would recommend renting elsewhere. I will finish this lease or term early if I find another property.

This place is awful. Any future tenets, run for your life and save your money. These guys have a terrible rodent infestation problem. If you complain about it, they will turn it around to make it seem as though it’s your fault. A bunch of scammers. Unsafe units with very weak doors, unsafe washer and dryers, etc. These morons even had the nerve to «save themselves money», by placing their mailboxes outside of the apartments at longer distances from other units, thus making it difficult for their senior tenets to make a long and dangerous walk to get their mail. This place breaks so many Baltimore County codes and they still get away with it. I swear they must be in bed with someone in County Government. Stay away from this trap.

7÷25÷15 Update Well, nearly 6 months after moving in, my washing machine is STILLBROKEN!!! Every time I vacuum, the carpeting comes up at the seems, the tub chips more every day, the ceiling fan is still broken, I took a bath and upon gently resting my feet against the wall since the tub length is too short(I’m only 5′ 7″), the wall caved in!!! No response after at least 3 maintenance requests. Every week they invent a new reason to illegally violate my privacy and«order» me to either lock my 10yr old dying dog in a cage all day, every day for a week, or remove her from the apt… so apparently I am supposed to have a never-ending supply of money to pay for doggie day care??? And never mind the fact that I don’t have a car and have NOPOSSIBLE way to take her anywhere, and that locking her in a cage or removing her would severely traumatize her and break her heart, and all she has ever done was to love me unconditionally and they want me to treat her like garbage!!! Oh but it gets even better. I tell them my apt is infested with ants(I had to put all my dry goods in the fridge and throw out cereal, etc., that was already infested), and the next day I came home to find a new note on my door, with the more egregiously insulting, violating suggestion yet! If you move here you will get one every week. That have a new reason to completely violate my legal right to the peaceful enjoyment of my home every week, but this is by far the most disgusting one yet!!! They seem to feel they are running s correctional facility rather than an apt community of people who have legal rights, not to mention medical conditions, and obviously not any extra money to pay for constant doggie day care or we wouldn’t live here!!! The letter states that they will enter our apts on Monday(as usual, they are so incompetent they couldn’t possibly be bothered to make an appt, no they think they can just randomly enter my apt anytime they please, whether I’m home or not, naked, showering, having sex, sleeping, sick and vomiting, etc, etc, etc… because apparently I’m not a private citizen of a democracy, apparently I’m an inmate in prison or under the régime of a dictator!!!) They have ordered me to completely clean out my private bedroom closet, take all of the sheets, blankets & pillows off my bed, pull my bed and all my other furniture away from the walls(regardless of the fact that I am still recovering from surgery and have severe, chronic pain and cannot physically do this and am all alone) & then they so graciously tell me I can put all of my clothing, etc., in the middle of the living rm floor or kitchen floor!!! How much nastier(pun intended) could they people be??? It’s really a kick in the gut though when the problem is ants inn my kitchen and patio. They are clearly extremely IGNORANT as to where bed bugs come from and who is at risk of carrying/spreading them. Why don’t you do your research Towson Crossing and then formulate a survey for residents to take, and then you can ask for permission to make an appt to inspect the apts of those who may actually be at risk??? DUH. I am forwarding all of these letters to legal aid, the Better Business Bureau, and Attorney General, for starters… I never in my whole entire life been treated so horribly by an apt complex, and I have lived in many apts in many states!!! No one has EVER tried to violate my privacy like this. I rented an apt from Morgan Properties years ago in another state for 2 yrs and had a wonderful experience, which was why I so stupidly chose this hole, where even the outlet covers weren’t put on the walls properly and fall off… Oh yeah, and also in the apt they use for show, there is no giant, ugly, 40 yr old, non-functioning, unsightly alarm panel, like there is in my apt, that I was told I couldn’t touch or remove, and there is a giant plug for it clogging up/slumming up my kitchen floor too! Instead of continuously attempting to violate my MD state legal right to the peaceful enjoyment of my home, why don’t you respond to my continuous requests to have my washer fixed by scheduling an apt that is convenient for me. You will not enter my apt when I’m not home and I will publicize every single communication and action I get from you people. You have no right to treat people like prison inmates. Oh and as for your little«show apt.,» I believe that’s called«bait and switch,» and that it’s illegal.

This was my first apt and it was literally like a horror story. –Mice everywhere. I keep my living space clean and organized like it’s my job, and yet mice were in my sheets, my cabinets, and in the walls. I couldn’t sleep. –Outdated buildings. Things fall apart because they’ve never been replaced, only given cosmetic repairs that don’t last. In the year I was there the screen fell off the sliding glass door, the heater broke several times, I lost hot water often, and the day I moved out the apartment flooded. Luckily most of my stuff was out. It was kind of ironic, taking one last look at the apartment with 5 inches of standing water in it. –shady neighborhood /partying college kids. A man was peeing outside my bedroom window one day. I kid you not. Music was blasting at all hours through the paper thin walls. Good luck sleeping. –once office staff LOST my rent check. They put a neon sign on my door saying ‘DELINQUENTTENANT’ – trying to shame me publicly. Needless to say I was mortified. They didn’t even apologize when they found my check. they treat you like scum on their shoes. Ugh I am still scarred from this 2+yrs later. I don’t want anyone to go through it like I did. Please avoid this place! And if you are there and want to get out, document everything and go to court. I wish I had. The whole mess of apartment buildings should be condemned!!!

I am so shocked that this community has not been reviewed. Where do I start? This community is like the Bates Motel Apartment style. Parents if your Towson University or Morgan University Student mentions this community just say no. The pictures that the community features look so nice but that is not quite the reality. If something in the apartment breaks just know that you will have to live with that broken appliance, heating unit, or heating unit. For starters my dish washer has been broken for three of the four years that I have lived in the apartment! For the whole winter of 2012– 2013, I have been returning to an apartment that the heating is not working. When I return from a long day at work I have to light my own pilot light! Last night was 29 degrees with a wind chill factor of 15. My apartment was a WHOPPING46 degrees. Yes, 46 degrees. My son was sitting on the sofa with his winter coat, and gloves on. It appalls me that I have called 5 times to fix this issue and they send the maintenance guy and he fixes it until the pilot light goes out again. In December he told me that he was going to get it fixed and as of today it has yet to be fixed. THATMEANSTHAT I DONOTKNOWIFMYHOMEISGOINGTOHAVEHEATON A DAYTODAYBASIS! Please do not expect to have clean carpets when you move in. When I did my walk through with the community I documented that the carpets were stained. I am unfortunately stuck in this apartment till my lease is up. The apartment manager, and maintenance workers are kind BUT they at the end of the day I have to give them 60 days notice to leave my apartment. This means that weather gets better and I no longer need my heat I can then apartment. Great thanks! Real community pics coming soon STAYAWAYFROMTHISCOMMUNITY!
