Decent food and decent service. I did not like the appetizer they recommended, crab Rangoon. They have byob though they don’t sell alcohol. The entrees were ok. The prices are great and so are the people who work there.

The food was actually pretty good. I was enjoying it very much. Then from around my plate a cockroach crawled out and starting scurrying away. I didn’t make a scene and caught it under my napkin. I called the waiter over and showed him, and he quickly grabbed it and left. He brought me a new utensil expecting me to keep eating. I asked him to take the food away. He brought my check soon afterwards — expecting me to pay for my half-eaten meal with a cockroach around. I was not happy to say the least. Too bad because the food and service were otherwise quite good.

Love this place. It’s cramped if you get there during the dinner rush — but the food is always delicious and their BYOB policy is great!

The food is very good here and the service too, this place is added to my favorite restaurant list! We ordered Mussa Pad Thai and Panang curry, both are very tasty with lots of veggies and tofus :) and we tried fried banana dessert! Liked it

Thai food here is pretty authentic and very good. I am impressed of this Thai restaurant in the middle of Baltimore. Definitely a hidden gem that needs to be tried. The curry had a lot of flavor and had a nice kick to it. Wash it down with an iced cold Thai iced tea and you will not be disappointed.

Did Thai Arroy change? This used to be my favorite at Thai place in Baltimore and I ordered tonight for the first time in a few months and was really disappointed. The pad Thai tastes almost like it was made from a box and the Massamun curry was watery and had 4 tony pieces of tofu in it. What happened?!

Sadly, Thai Arroy is not as tasty as when I left my first review in 2009. Our drunken noodle dish, once smoky and delicious, was now an average, slightly bland and veggie-less pile of noodles. Prik pow had no depth, just shrimp in a thin red sauce. So sad. My Thai on Central is better.

Food: 4 Service: 3 Ambiance: 2 We love the food here, seriously(and sort of sadly) the only decent Asian eatery in Baltimore City proper. We’ve eaten here several times and our experience has been pretty consistent across all our visits. The Pad Krop is hands down our favorite dish, highly recommend! The chicken is crispy and fried on the outside with a tender inside, tossed with a mouthwatering mix of sautéed onions, cashews, cilantro, and something magical. It usually is a tolerable spice level, but our most recent order was burn-your-face-off hot(maybe just an aberrant batch of chiles?). The red curry is flavorful, delicious with shrimp, though would like more veggies in it, and sort of feels like a smaller portion overall. The pad thai is mediocre, and the pad see euw is also only ok. The tables are packed tightly, and on Friday and Saturday fills up fast for dinner. We’ve generally never had to wait if we arrive around 6ish, but have seen lines start to form around 6:30 onwards. Service is meh, have had to ask twice for things(water, drinks, chopsticks) but overall very friendly. Will definitely be returning for our Thai food fix!

My husband and I happen to be in Federal Hill and stopped by Thai Array based on 4⁄5 stars. Service was very good with friendliness and promptness. We ordered he Thai dumplings, Pad Thai And Green The dumplings were a disappointment. I never had Thai dumplings, but there was no Thai flavor or spices. Even the sauce was not a representation of Thailand. Pad Thai was good, but Whether it was red pepper, cayenne, or paprika — that was overpowering. It also made the noodles very red looking. I didn’t enjoy the presentation as much. I had better Pad Thai but it was better than some I have had in Balto. Green curry was good. I think it was a little sweeter than usual but it was still enjoyable. All in all, not bad.

Stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night around 6:45– the restaurant was about ¾ths full when we got there, but quickly filled up with a line of people waiting for tables. We took advantage of the BYOB and brought a bottle of wine with us. The menu had a good selection of the usual Thai/Asian offerings, but wasn’t too overwhelming. We started with the crispy rolls– tasty, but the best part was the sweet chili sauce that accompanied them for dipping. As far as entrees, we got the drunken noodles and the Khing pad thai, both with chicken. The pad Thai was pretty straightforward, with good flavor from the ginger and scallions. They have three different types of Pad Thai on the menu, so I would be interested in trying the others if I stop by again. The drunken noodles were spicier with large pieces of chicken. Portion sizes were pretty generous; I wasn’t able to finish my whole entrée. Service was quick and efficient. A good place for a date night or girls night!

God the food here is SO good. Their curries are bursting with flavor as well as the pad Thais. I’m partial to the Massaman Curry. It’s insanely good. Lightly spiced, a little sweet and nice and peanutty Do not get it twisted this is not some bland typical Asian carry out joint. It’s a lovely sit down Thai restaurant with fresh made everything. The BYOB is great. When I’m feeling lazy I can call in an order and pick it up within 15 minutes. Thai Arroy has definitely become a dinner staple for me and the roomies since we moved to Fed Hill.

Ordered chicken pad Thai and crispy spring rolls through Orderup delivery service. Both were good but the pad thai was awesome! It’s seriously one of the best pad thai I’ve tasted. I will definitely order from them again and try other items on their menu.

Wow! Love this place and love the drunken noodles… to the point that I CRAVE it! The Pad Thai is also very good. This place is also BYOB and a liquor store is near it. It’s a win win. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop in and try them. The owners are super friendly!

Love this place. Best Thai food in fed hill and probably Baltimore. If you don’t know about this place, and you like Thai food it’s a must. It’s the perfect quick dinner spot. The wait staff is friendly and the food is awesome. The pad Thai and drunken noodles at my go to! PLUS it’s BYOB!

YUM! Awesome date experience here. My boyfriend and I came to Thai Arroy a long afternoon of climbing and our appetites were sky high. After spotting a Thai BYOB near our airbnb on Unilocal,we grabbed some wine and hard cider from the liquor store nearby before arriving. Although the restaurant was busy and lively, we were able to get seated immediately inside where we could admire the beautiful wall art while savoring air conditioning. They win major veg points for offering both tofu AND vegetarian mock duck(think seitan) as protein add-ins for the curries. We ordered the Tofu Tod and the fresh spring rolls to start. For mains, he ordered the papaya salad and I chose green curry with mock duck. The food came promptly, for which we were immensely happy. I especially loved the texture and preparation of the Tofu Tod and I loved that the accompanying dipping sauce had cucumbers and onions for added crunch. My boyfriend thought the papaya salad was the best he’s had in the states, which is a huge compliment! My green curry was definitely hot(as the waitress kindly warned me) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m glad that they didn’t tone down this traditionally spicy dish at all– it tasted just like the green curries I tried in Thailand. The spice went so well with the sweet flavor of the mock duck. Awesome, awesome. If we lived in Baltimore, this would be a regular takeout spot for sure.

This has been our favorite Thai restaurant in Baltimore for many years. I wish I had written reviews for this place earlier, since that would have been a 5 star review. But I have noticed this place go downhill over the past year or so. The service is the same(A-OK) but the food quality/taste has deteriorated. Maybe an issue with the chef or something that is easy to fix coz if this trend continues, then we will have to look for a new Thai restaurant soon :( On our most recent trip, the drunken noodle was meh at best and so was the Green Curry. Plus all our dishes were warm at best. The restaurant was not very busy(75% full — which is less than normal for this place). Maybe this is a temporary phenomenon and things will turn around soon for Thai Arroy.

I started with a Thai iced tea which had good flavor but was sweeter than I am used to. When then had the Thai dumplings appetizer with the garlic soy sauce. The dumplings had great texture and the flavor was emphasized by the crushed peanuts on top, drenching the dumplings in the sauce made them amazing. My only complaint is that you get 5 dumplings, that makes it a bit difficult for sharing. Portion could have been larger as well. I had the chicken red curry which was delicious. The curry was nice and spicy and also included zucchini, my regular Thai spot does not have zucchini in their red curry but I really liked the addition. The white rice was also cooked perfectly, you’d be surprised how many restaurants can’t get that right lol. The portion was generous I will definitely have enough for lunch. My friend had the chicken pad Thai, at first try I thought the peanut sauce and taste was somewhat overpowering. I think ordering the dish spicy or adding chili powder or even Sriracha sauce would have made it perfect. I will definitely return and take advantage of the BYOB policy, really good find.

In Fed Hill there’s two options for Thai food and they happen to be right across the street from each other. I’ve tried both now and Thai Arroy definitely wins in my book. I’ve never really been a fan of drunken noodles, but Thai Arroy has made me a believer! They do it right here! The beef is tender, the noodles are tasty and it has a nice kick to it. The panang curry is also one of the best that I’ve ever had. I also recently tried the Pad Krop. I opted for the pork option and it as served with cashews, basil, lettuce, scallions, onions cilantro in a spicy sauce. I’ll definitely order this again next time I come. And you can’t go wrong with their Thai iced teas! Our waitress was also very attentive and even boxed up my food for me(which is always nice since I’m such a klutz). I’ve also ordered take-out here with no issues. And don’t forget the bottle of wine cuz its BYOB!

I now found a Thai restaurant that I will look forward to when I’m in Baltimore. It’s dangerous because I’ll probably not want to venture out knowing there’s a good place so close to downtown. Their lunches come with a soup option so naturally I chose the Tom Yum. It’s delicious, but it has an unexpected flavor, sweetness. I was taken off guard with the first spoon full in that I’ve never had it so sweet. It usually has more of a sour impact, but not here. Sweetness to the last drop, I didn’t leave any left. Attention vegetarians! I’ve never seen a Thai restaurant offer other protein options other than tofu. Here, they offer fake duck meat! I couldn’t believe it. I had to try it out with the Gang Dang. The curry was spiced well with a good viscosity, great fresh vegetables, and then the«duck». It’s similar to most fake meats in flavor and texture, not bad for what you’re trying to pull off. The amazing thing here is that they offer a second protein option for vegetarians. Take advantage of it since it’s not offered in many places. My one disappointment was you only get one bowl of rice and have to pay for additional ones. Especially with a curry dish, I want to soak up all the extra curry, so use the rice sparingly. They also offer two types of pad thai, I chose the Mussa Pad Thai with Tofu; supposedly a southern style. It’s the stronger peanut flavor sauce than its counter part. The sauce is pretty thick coating all the noodles and tofu very well. With the nice staff, good food, excellent location, and surprising vegetarian options, I look forward to returning.

For Thai Food in Federal Hill, if you ask anyone they will suggest Thai Arroy and this place has been on my todo list for a while. I finally convinced my roommate(and the pickiest eater that I know) to try Thai Food for dinner and we headed over. We started our meal with the Crispy Rolls. They were spring rolls with chicken, cabbage, carrots, bean threads and served with sweet chili sauce. These were delicious and the sauce was outstanding. The crispy rolls were fried however they weren’t too greasy and the sweet chili sauce was amazing. The sweetness and spice balanced well. My friend ordered the Thai Sweet and Sour. It came with pineapple, baby corn, tomatoes, onions, scallions, carrots and snow peas in lights spicy gravy sauce. She wasn’t expecting a tomato-based sauce for the dish so that kind of threw her off, but she said it was packed with flavor and the chicken was deliciously tender. Everything on the menu looked delicious and I wasn’t sure what to order. Based on FourSquare tips, I decided to go with the Chicken Kee Mao which were essentially drunken noodles. The dish was flat rice noodles with fresh chili, collard greens, tomatoes, egg, and fresh basil leaves. The portion was large but that didn’t stop me from finishing it because it was so wonderful. Additionally the dish wasn’t particularly spicy but the heat built up as I ate the dish and it was wonderful. If you’re looking for a great Thai spot in Federal Hill, consider checking out Thai Arroy.
