they argubly have the best food on the west side of baltimore! only thing is they make take a little while if you dont call in ahead of time!

I love this place I live out of town and this is one of my first stops when I visit Baltimore. Its always clean and they take special care in cleanliness. The fish is always fresh and the sides are good too! Great quality and customer service for the price! If you are rushing you must call ahead because i believe they cook to order so it takes some time! My favorite!!! Always consistent!

I suggest calling ahead if you are on time constraints. The employees were very respectful and courteous (good customer service is a big plus!!) When you get your food all that is wrong for the moment will cease! The baked macaroni and cheese was tremendously cheesy, the fish was fried and seasoned well and the bean pie was absolutely delicious! The only thing missing was my nap :-)

I understand you need eateries is certain neighborhoods but it’s unfortunate you should really only go during the day. This is definitely my spot on weekends. Why? Because that’s when they have their Squash Pies. Only Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Sweet butternut squash, you would think you were eating a sweet potato pie. Sometimes I have to hold back and not go. Instead of candied yams they have sweet squash to go with your dinner. Ummm Ummm good. The baked chicken is to die for. The brothers that work the counter are always attentive. If they’re busy, they do acknowledge you.

Is this spot in da hood? Yes. But the fries with salt pepper ketchup and the turkey breast sandwiches are good. The cakes! Dee-​licious. Real moist and good. They give you these HUGE slices of cake. The place is clean. Its just a run down building and in a bad neighborhood. But the food is worth venturing there.

Ditto. Love to go here after church with the fam. But watch out near dusk. Def wouldn’t wear my gucci and gold down this spot. Other than that, get the «So Much Fish», potato salad and green beans. Cakes and bean pies good too.

If you ever get the craving for a simple fish sandwich, this is the spot to go to. A simple carryout, cash only, and be prepared for the wait for a decent meal, halal at that. the baked goods are satisfying and other than the fish sandwiches they have a decent menu. the locale is not for the faint at heart… go with someone with some street smarts… plus parking is a B*^@H
