This was the first Subway I’ve ever been to where they had hot soup in stock; it wasn’t a disappointment, either. The soup(broccoli cheddar) was rich, flavorful and steamy hot, perfect for a cold and rainy day like today. The staff is friendly and they prepare the sandwiches just as you want — they’re not stingy with the toppings, either. Nice dining area, as well; everything was very clean and well-kept. Yes, it’s a standard Subway with all of the features that you’d expect a Subway to have, but this one is well-run and it’s obvious the employees here care about their customers. Well done! Tip For Diabetics: Subway is surprisingly not as healthy as the commercials would have you believe. Sure, it’s great for folks that want to lose weight — but for diabetics? The menu is very, very limited here. Salad — that’s about all you’ll be able to afford. Not to say that salad isn’t good, but sometimes you get really sick of it after a while. But, to their credit, Subway does a really good one. I normally get a grilled chicken and baby spinach salad with onions, pickles, olives and banana peppers — and, yes, I add bacon. That’s the ONE plus about being diabetic — no limit on the types of meat and that includes bacon. GLORIOUS bacon… oh, wait, I digress. A splash of oil and vinegar, and you’ve got a pretty decent salad for under 2 carb choices. Watch it if you’re going to get a sandwich, though. That bread has MUCH more carbs than they admit to. .Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor. YMMV. Seek medical advice and tailor my review to your situation. I simply provide opinion.
