I bought a groupon for a facial and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, the salon was locked from the outside and apparently empty. I called the phone number, which had been conveniently disconnected. From reading other reviews, doesn’t sound like I missed much from the facial, but at least the door wasn’t locked for others! I immediately called groupon and was issued a refund. If you’re thinking of buying the groupon or going here in general, I would not recommend it! Not worth the risk of having no one there when you schedule your day around an appointment!

I purchased a groupon and after going here I wish I hadn’t. My boyfriend and I went, it was a super hot day and no one offered us water. When we arrived to the room we were getting facials in, it was hot, the AC wasn’t on and it wasn’t the cleanest. The service was poor, the cosmetologist were talking to each other and trying to push items on us the entire time. The scents that were used smelled cheap and like glue. I had to ask for a hair towel because of how much product kept getting into my hair. Upon checking out before I redeemed my groupon they asked for a tip.

Okay I don’t complain about much, but this whole thing made me really angry. My boyfriend bought me a living social gift of a one hour massage at Skin Deep Day Spa for my birthday. Yay! ‘So excited! I make the first appointment and the girl that took the call made it very apparent that I was to pay gratuity to the value of the original price of the massage. I planned on it, but felt it was awkward and unprofessional that she had to tell me that. Then the girl that was to do the massage canceled on me the day of because of an emergency. When I tried to reschedule they told me they only accepted Living Social vouchers on Thursdays. They were rude and I felt that they discriminated against me because I had a voucher. If I’m not mistaken the purpose of using Living Social for your business is to get new clients. Instead they drove me away and hopefully anyone else that reads this.

I had a facial using a groupon. The facial was very nice and relaxing. The facility is very large but it has limited décor and looks more like a nicer warehouse than a spa. The technician was very nice and professional but had me pay extra(doubling the cost of the groupon) for a hydrating treatment and recommended products at the end. I felt bad that they don’t seem to have any customers and wonder why they will survive relying solely on groupon customers(no website). There was pee on the toilet, which wasn’t flushed and there was one piece of kitchen towel left for drying hands. I would not go back.
