Don’t even think about getting a SSA Visa. Support on these cards is terrible. They outsource to a 3^rd party who can’t help answer any questions about your card when you call; they refer you to the branch. But, the branch officers don’t even have access to the system and are not of any help. I received duplicate statements that resembled my monthly statement, but with different dates… so I called the 800 number to find out why. They couldn’t help explain why. I decided to visit the branch, only to have Heather M., a Financial Services Representative, say she doesn’t have access to member statements, and isn’t authorized to make any changes. She could only tell me what my amount due was at that time. As it turns out, another statement closed 2 days prior, and the payment I made that day, didn’t meet the minimum, and I was charged a late fee. And, Mrs. Taylor from collections will call and harass you if your payment is late, with bulldog collection tactics rather than customer conflict resolution assistance. She must get paid on a percentage of her collections.
I have a credit score in 800 range, and am a medical professional. I can’t wait to find another Visa Provider who values customer service.
