What the owner selects to carry in the store is cute and tasteful, but there are few things there for a 6ft gal with size 11 feet. My main rant is about their unwillingness to integrate with the community. I asked them to hand out my business cards along with some 7 day guest passes for an upscale gym when they made sales or display them and they said yes. Within two weeks I was suspicious when zero people came to the gym to redeem passes. I went to the store and found out they had thrown them out. Please do not tell me to my face that you will help me and then do the opposite by wasting my money by throwing out my printed items. My notions were reinforced when I took an artists’ tour of the winter wonderland display windows event held in Harbor East. The artist assigned to Sassanova’s windows had created a holiday piece titled Three Women, but there were only two women in the final piece. After the artist’s hard work, the owner did not allowed her to display her third woman because it blocked the displayed clothing. The artist had to explain to everyone why her submitted title was different than the art displayed. Sassanova should have at least permitted the artist to display her full work for the night of the unveiling, which was also the night of the judging.

This store just doesn’t pull at my heartstrings and give me that fluttery feeling. The selection is not that abundant. They do have some quality pieces here and there but nothing that has grabbed me to the point of «I must have it.» I agree with the other reviewer as well on the customer service. I am pretty darn friendly and I have yet to engage any of the salespeople here in actual conversation. The are always on the phone or doing something other than paying attention to actual customers. They say hello and goodbye sufficiently but thats about it. Urban Chic is much better and this place cannot come close to my all time favorite, Poppy and Stella.

Break down the word Sassanova and you get«sass» or «sassy» and«new» or «star.» Aptly named little boutique it turns out since you will be walking out feeling like a sassy new little star if you buy something here. For one, the items are indeed expensive, so you might need some celeb dough. For two, the shoes and clothing are definitely high end, so you could hit any number of social engagements, including a red carpet or two if need be(but a daytime red carpet at a Preakness or something. No evening gowns here!). And for three, the shop itself is completely adorbs — a suitable double for any Beverly Hills boutique(except in Baltimore! Who would have thought?). In a addition to a super smiley sales lady, a singular sparkly shoe greeted me as well when I arrived as it rotated on a mechanical platform! It was like a hot little disco-ball of a shoe! What a tease! Too cute :) The boutique itself had almost a parlor set-up which was very cute and something everyone woman secretly wishes she had in her house. Lots of patterned dresses for summer filled the small shop which promises to boast more fall clothes soon. I noticed that there were styles for every age group 20 and above and lots of unique jewelry — beads and bobbles and several jeweled pieces! It’s a great little shop for shoes and accessories, but, like most of the shops in Harbor East, you have to pay to play, so make sure the rent/mortgage is paid, tuition too if you or your kids have it to cover, and the car note is almost paid off before coming in here because you will want to splurge and I don’t want to hear any mess from you later. You’ve been warned! lol!

Cute store & great service! Found the perfect necklace at this shop. The décor was chic and I loved my purchase. I’ll swing by again on my next visit to Charm City!
