I and my family have been with Helen Shvartsburg from Kobi salon for over 10 years, following her if she changed salons. Throughout those years, Helen has done excellent job with my hair at its different stages: short, medium length, longer wavy. She did 3-​d coloring, highlighting, perm, carotene treatment, updo for my wedding. Every time I see Helen I leave with beautiful hair and great boost of self-​esteem. My mom and my 11 year old daughter are also Helen’s faithful clients. With my daughter’s curly mane of hair, carotene treatments save a lot of hair for her and brushing time for me, especially after summertime with its sun, ocean, and pool hair damage. Helen has also done an awesome job with my nails and makeup. She is a true artist and what she does is the closest thing to a miracle.

I have to say there are few times when I leave a nail salon feeling like I was robbed. This place should only be a hair salon. I was completely over charged for a half done job and the tools used for your feet weren’t sanitized properly at all. This is the first time I ever saw someone using a 504 spray bottle to clean nail tools instead of proper disinfectant.
The menu for nail treatments is carefully hidden and unless you ask for it you won’t find it. I was charged $ 50 for a plain pedicure with minimal exfoliating, no massage, and little lotion. I have gone to other salons and paid $ 50-​$ 60 for exfoliating, hot wax, French pedicure, and a massage for my feet, legs, and shoulders. The woman was very nice and friendly but just on sanitation alone I would never go back.

I was looking for a someone who could highlight my black/​dark brown hair just right. Glad I stumbled upon Kobi! Enriquetta did my highlights and she is a-​ma-​zing! My hair looks awesome and she is so pleasant as a person too. Blanca did my wash and she rocks as well!
Whenever I need «me time» I go to Kobi. It is now my go-​to salon.

I cannot believe I have missed out on years of haircuts with Lisa! I will certainly make sure to make up for it in the years to come… hands down, best haircut and overall experience I’ve ever had — and I’ve been to numerous salons around NY, SF, DC and Philly.
I felt like I knew Lisa all my life. We were laughing and chatting like old friends. She knew exactly what I wanted and she even spent 30 mins extra curling my hair for free. I could tell that her main goal is satisfying her customer… sharing tips, experiences, and ideas. She is a genius and her sister is too.
You really have to give this place a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed. It is a reasonable price for the overall ambiance, friendliness of the staff, and expert hair stylists! Very very happy I found Kobi after all these years. :-)

I ended up at Kobi Salon totally by accident – that being said, I couldn’t be more happy that I found it! I love Kobi! Lisa and Terry are amazing, super-​friendly and very helpful. They’re both very genuine, funny, and really care about pleasing their clients. I’ve never had a more enjoyable salon experience.
Kobi has a great aesthetic that is a real mood booster, Lisa and Terry always offer something to eat or drink. And they can usually slip you in if you have a hair or nail emergency.
The friends that I’ve recommended Kobi too have been very pleased with it as well.

I have kinky/​curly/​frizzy crazy hair. The times I’ve had good haircuts can be counted on 1 hand — well that is prior to finding Tony Sartori at Kobi. He has curly hair himself and TOTALLY gets it. He is Deva Cut trained and great at it. I went there today for the 2^nd time and LOVE the cut.
The salon is nice — bright and airy (clean too!). Everyone is nice without being gushy.
I couldn’t be more thilled!
