Everything here is sourced excellently. There’s a very strong focus on responsible meats, local produce and prepared foods, and organic items. The owners operate their own farms in the area and are really friendly and helpful. If they don’t carry it, they’re very willing to accommodate as well as they can. Strongly recommend stopping in for at least a chat if you’re interested in community, and I definitely recommend grabbing their CSA plan.

Definitely a great neighborhood produce source for local, organic produce. I passed this place on my way to The Skyloft (which is the next block down) and made it a point to check it out before I left the area. I wouldn’t recommend this place for the normal grocery type food items from other companies because they were very pricey but if you don’t have a vehicle or just want something out of convenience, I would understand from a business aspect how it works for people in the community.
Tomatoes is one of my favorite foods and the ones here were huge, healthy looking and offered at a great price. I may also venture back for the bulk grains since they were reasonable priced.
As I looked around, I heard the owner having a conversation with a customer about farming and other environmental topics and he really seems to know his stuff. Worth checking out next time you’re in the Highlandtown area.

This is a cool spot for locally sourced, organic products. The owners live in the area and have been growing their own produce for years. Some of the vegetables they sell in their store are grown on the roof of their Baltimore city house! They also sell products from local farms. Most of their inventory is local and in season but they also carry a small selection of dry goods.
This store is a great alternative for people looking to buy local, sustainable, and healthy foods.
