My pizza was thoroughly undercooked. I will never visit this location again.

Ummmm, the service is fast… however, the customer service could be improved. The gentleman at the register did not suggest I could pay even less getting a large than a small pizza with a particular special, but when my friend went after me… he suggested it to her. I found that peculiar and when I asked him why he didn’t make me aware of the special, he didn’t really have a valid response. If there was another Papa John’s near by, I would have just went to that one.

While the pizza is good… The customer service was sub par. When ordering, the cashier doesn’t tell you of any specials unless your order something that is considered a special. Also, I ordered a pizza today well done and yet when I opened the box, it was not what I requested. Also instead of being on the job, the cashier was on his phone. They should really work on their customer service skills.

I ordered from this location for a lunch at work. Placed the order early via on-line to be delivered at noon. I planned this time in order to ensure it would be here before 12:30 when we would eat. Easy ordering on-line. It did say I would get an email confirmation so when I had not received one and it was well after they opened I called just to check. The guy on the phone was friendly. He looked into it and said they were working on it. The order was for 10 pizzas and 4 orders of wings so I was glad they had received it and were on track. The delivery guy showed up at 12:10 and called me. I met him in the lobby with a co worker and exchanged the cash for the food. All was hot and everyone enjoyed their pizza. Thanks for getting this large order right and on time.

Never order a pizza from this location. I ordered a pizza that was undercooked and doughy. As a person prone to personal victim blame and avoiding conflict, I blamed myself for not specifying that I wanted my pizza hard-cooked, which for them is normal cooking I guess? So flash forward, after I said never again, I had a free pizza through the Papa Rewards program and decided to give this location another shot. This time, I went with the«well done» extra instructions. I figured this would make the situations better… NOPE! Pizza was still doughy and generally sucked. I haven’t eaten Papa John’s since.

I ordered a papa johns pizza today from this place and before writing a review, I actually called to get the problem fixed. But even with a second round of delivery the pizza still came to me old, dried out, and stale. I talked to the manager and explained, but he went back and forth with me about how he made it himself and insisted that I wait for another pie to be delivered and I send the previous one back. Needless to say, I tipped both drivers $ 5 and paid $ 20 for me food, $ 30 for nothing, I’ll stick to the local pizza places. This chain has no place downtown. Horrible food, fast service

I ordered a pizza online at 11:00. I live five minutes away. It would make sense for me to pick up the pizza, but I unfortunately just had surgery and cannot drive or walk the distance. My boyfriend left work to come have lunch with me at home to keep me from boredom since I am confined to my home. My confirmation email said 30 – 40 minutes. Boyfriend got here at 11:30, we waited until noon(officially an hour after me ordering), and then he gave up and had to go back to work. I had to call and cancel the order at 12:05. Hopefully they don’t mess up refunding my credit card. I ordered one freaking pizza. ONEPIZZA. And it took over an hour! I rarely give up on deliveries, but this was too much. The delivery driver called me at 12:15 to say he was on his way, but I told him it was too late, I already called and cancelled the order because it took too long. Freaking ridiculous. Will not be placing an order with them, ever, and will be telling my friends and family not to as well. Completely unprofessional.

My go-to pizza delivery place when I’m in the hankering for some generic pizza and wings. This Papa John’s location usually gets pizza to me(in Mount Vernon) within 30 minutes of ordering, even on Ravens game days! No complaints here.

I know that it’s probably silly to write a review for a chain restaurant like Papa John’s. I’ve run into many Unilocalers that scorn such reviews — and the people who write them. Unfortunately, however, for those of us who are diabetics, chain restaurants are often the safest option, because they have nutritional information readily available for anyone who wants to look for it; and as far as I’m concerned, my health is priority #1. So, with that said, I will continue with my review; we ordered pizza on Sunday since 1. LoML was hungry for it and 2. I’m in the middle of «testing» what I can and can’t tolerate as far as my blood glucose levels are concerned. To be safe, we ordered a thin crust with olives, grilled chicken and mushrooms. Delivery time and price is standard for Papa John’s, just like all the others. I think the delivery guy had a silent coronary when he saw LoML’s Pittsburgh Steelers T-shirt, though; you could see the disdain on his face spreading all the way to his Ravens jacket. Heh, heh. That was semi-amusing. The pizza itself, unfortunately, wasn’t that great — hardly any grilled chicken to be found, the mushrooms were sort of smallish pieces, and the olives were overpowering. However, the crust was extremely thin — in my case, this was a good thing, as it didn’t spike my sugar too much. Still, I really wish they’d been a bit more generous with the toppings. It’s unlikely we’ll order much pizza from now on due to my diagnosis, but when we do, we’ll probably find alternatives to this place. I don’t want to spend what little carbs I have on inferior food. Tip For Diabetics: Pizza is one of the biggest problems for diabetics, mainly because of the crust. The toppings(most of them) are just fine, but what’s the point of ordering pizza if you can’t eat ¾ of it? If you’re going to splurge, however, order thin crust. That’s really the only way you’re going to get away with eating here, and even then the number of slices really have to be limited. You’re probably safer with the chicken options here(strips and wings), though that breading is probably also not a good thing. Desserts? Please. Try again. Not worth your carbs. Disclaimer: I’m not a doctor. YMMV. Seek medical advice and tailor my review to your situation. I simply provide opinion.

I ordered a pizza for delivery on 12÷2÷12; after about 90 mins it still had not arrived so I called the restaurant. The person who answered the phone said that there were a bunch of drivers out and that it should be delivered shortly. After about 15 mins, the store called me back and said that they had mistakingly thought the order was for pick up and that they would have the pizza delivered within 30 mins. When the pizza was delivered, it was cold, instead of making me a new pizza, they gave me the one that had been sitting in the store for 2 hours. When the driver arrived, he felt so bad that he told me that I did not have to pay for the pizza, that he would cover it in his tips, however, my credit card was already charged as it was an online order.
