I received a referral for this storage unit because it was reasonably priced. I rented two 5’x10’ units side by side for $ 49 PLUS $ 9 (mandatory insurance) for each unit. Grand total $ 116 per month. After 6 months each unit increased by $ 7 which I had not anticipated. I spoke with Martha, the site manager, about the increase and she informed me that there would be a second increase in six months. I didn’t like that news. I cancelled one of the units because I sold the furniture piece that I was storing there and I planned to cancel the next one the following month. I have not used public storage before so I do not have anything to compare this experience with but it was not exceptional and as I said before, I did not like the price hike after 6 months. I mean, what was the justification? And I saved this for last… I stored a solid wood dining table, six chairs and a wicker chair with a metal frame in the last unit and when I moved those items out of the unit on October 31, 2015, I discovered massive amounts of mice droppings all over the floor and on the cushions of my dining chairs! Uggghhh! The same thing happened when I closed the first unit August 31, 2015 which I brought to the site managers attention, and much less droppings. I will NEVER use this facility again and I do not recommend.

I had heard some not so flattering things about this place from someone who was once a longtime renter, but I decided to check them out anyway because I like the location. And even though I decided not to rent here I was impressed with the security and cleanliness of the campus. And even more impressive was the agent I spoke with, she was pleasant and answered my questions patiently and also offered a reasonable explanation of why they generally do not accept UPS deliveries on tenants behalf. (seems they have had some contraband issues) Also, I don’t know if the agent is a Baltimore native or not, but the thing I was impressed with the most is that she uses the traditional Baltimore terms of «Sweetie» & «Hon» and at that point I knew I had to give 5 stars no matter what, because being a Baltimore native myself, giving anything less than 5 stars would be treasonous! Now in case you’re wondering why I decided not to rent here it’s simply because I do not like the access hours. The 10 p.m. closing is fine, but the 6 a.m. opening is too late for me, as there are many occasions when I would need at least an hour earlier than that. And while it is true that there are many other storage options in the area, I would not hesitate to come back here should my access needs change. So, to sum it up, I would highly encourage you to come and give this place a look see for your storage needs. Thanks for reading, and I hope this helps.
