The tapas and drinks are delicious here! Service is so so. If I could afford to eat here more often I would haha. Great place for dinner. Great place to celebrate an occasion or take a date as well, as it does have an intimate romantic vibe.

Pretty pricey, but the happy hour is unbeatable. Half off wine and tapas(which makes them reasonably priced) but only in the small bar area in the front, not in the dining area. The outdoor seating area looks like a really cozy place to spend a summer evening after work and enjoy some half priced wine!

Horrible pushy service. We came in with a party of 8 and they 1. Couldn’t split the check and 2. When we split the check by circling what each person had with the appropriate card number the waiter came by and told us that he wanted us to calculate each total and write it on a separate sheet. He brought us over a blank piece of receipt paper. This place is so unclassy. The fried calamari was rubbery to begin with. Very disappointed with my experience at this place.

Went here recently for a celebration with friends. Starting from the moment, they made us very comfortable. Yes, it was a bit noisy, but that did not deter us as the ambiance and food was just awesome. The salmon is to die for and so are so many other. The best part was that through it was a tapas restaurant, one would expect to order many plates to fill and expect a huge bill. But the pricing was definitely economical considering the quality and service. Definitely worth a visit or more.

I was so pleased with our experience at this restaurant from start to finish I can not say enough good things. My husband and I leisurely ate our way through the tasting menu staying at the restaurant for a little over two hours. We never felt rushed by our waitress and received amazing service. I do understand that the time we came may have something to do with this 8 on a Sunday and during peak hours may not be possible but we enjoyed it. I started with the red white and blue sangria so yummy. This is a mixture of white, red sangria and blueberry vodka I am not sure I could have more than two of these! The tasting menu was $ 28pp and was worth it. You could taste the quality of food in the dishes. First course was hummus and tzatziki-the best I have ever had– with bread. The waitress never let our bread bowl empty. Next was grape leaves-very good and spinach pie– that is my only complaint spinach pie tasted burnt to me but still did not spoil the meal. There was lamb and crabcakes we left so full we asked for the included dessert to go. We had such a good time here the setting was perfect for an end of weekend date night. We will be back most likely to try the happy hour specials sometime in the near future.

I don’t normally give a 5 star review, but this place amazed me. Service was super friendly, everything was clean and the food was fantastic! We were stated in a nice window seat with a view of the street. Great for people watching and ambiance.

Awful. The food was okay but overpriced. And the service was so bad. The guy complained the entire time to other people in front of the costumers. Cool Seth. Cool

First things first, we waited over an hour to be seated, even though our entire party was early and we had a reservation. I think what annoyed us the most was that the front of house kept on telling us that they were setting up our table, and then 15 minutes later would come down to ask us how many people were in our party! They did this to us at least three times. When we were finally seated, it took another 10 minutes to get menus and then another 15 to get our drinks. The food came out sporadically and we ended up just canceling part of our order just so we could leave. When we finally got our food, it was good, but not phenomenal. I was hoping that after waiting that long the food would have been some of the best food I ever ate! At the end of the night, we asked our waitress what was going on with the service. She apologized profusely and explained that they were short staffed in the kitchen. Why the front of house couldn’t have just told us that instead of lying to us that they were going to seat us any minute was very frustrating. I can honestly say my friends and I will not eat at this place again.

Stopped here on a balmy Thursday evening in November. Who can say no to tapas? Who can so no to half price tapas and drinks during happy hour? Not I! The Crab Bisque was rich and buttery but a bit salty. The crab dip was perfect! The zucchini fritters melted in your mouth. The olives were drizzled in a bright balsamic dressing. Good food, good service, good company… and at $ 22/dollars a head including drink and tip… I will be coming back on my next trip to Baltamore!

5 stars for their happy hour(M to F 4:30 to 6:30). It’s pretty much 50% off entire menu except for some of the more pricier dishes(mainly seafood) and wines. It is SUCH a good deal. We ordered so many tapas and ended up paying ~$ 10 per person. Just ridiculously good value. {The Restaurant} — It’s like a date night, romantic vibe all throughout. Roses on the table dim lighting… — The service is great. Our waiter was super accommodating and got all our orders in time for the happy hour special when we came at 6:10. He also was willing to split our check 4 ways. Props to him~ {Food & Drinks} — Food, Regular Price, Happy Hour Price — White Sangria($ 28 for a pitcher | $ 14HH): SKIP this! It’s just super weak and watered down sangria. I would never even consider paying that much for regular price. You get about~6 cups of sangria in the pitcher. — Trio($ 8.95 | $ 4.48): How can you come to a Mediterranean place and not get a dip? Okay the trio comes with Hummus, Tzatziki and Red Pepper/Eggplant spreads and all of them were SO good. It comes with REFILLABLE pita which was perfectly warm and just taste absolutely delicious. For 5 bucks it’s definitely a dish to get and share. If you’re not a fan of all of them I would go with the Tzatziki dip but it’s really personal preference :) — Steamed Mussels($ 8.95 | $ 4.48): a must get! The mussels are giant, the sauce is so creamy and you get some toasted bread to dip in all the leftovers? for 5 bucks this was a score. — Pear and Walnut Salad($ 4.95 | $ 2.48): Poached pear on top of goat cheese, greens, walnuts and a citrus vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was to die for, it was sweet but in a subtle way that just blended all of the ingredients so well. The pear was just a wonderful little cinnamon finish. Another must try~ — Tuna Carpaccio($ 9.95 | $ 4.78): When this dish came out we seriously were wondering what salad we got. A huge pile of arugula overshadowing the thinly sliced tuna underneath. — Braised Beef($ 9.95| $ 4.78): The dish came over garlic mashed potatoes — which was the highlight actually. The beef(you get 4 pieces) was so soft and fell apart right when you bit into it, but was dry and didn’t have much flavor to it. The potatoes on the other hand were so good and buttery that I smothered my beef in it. — Fried Calamari($ 9.95 | $ 4.78): My friends loved this dish but I didn’t particularly care too much for it. One thing we agreed on was that the sauce was BOMB though. It’s presented absolutely lovely too. — Cheese Ravioli($ 6.95 | $ 3.48): 5 pieces of giant ravioli covered in white cheese sauce. Yum. Just taste exactly what it sounds like. It wasn’t anything special but it didn’t disappoint either. — Spinach Pie($ 5.95 | $ 2.97): 2 triangular shaped pieces stuffed with spinach, feta and herbs. I didn’t taste too much feta and the filling didn’t impress me too much. Wouldn’t recommend this dish.

I came here last night with a group of girls to celebrate our friends birthday and we had a nice time. We sat downstairs, which was nice since it was a beautiful night outside and we were able to get a lot of fresh air. The customer service was great, although I do hate it when restaurants won’t seat you until your entire party arrives. This particularly doesn’t make sense for a restaurant in Fells Point, in my opinion, because a few girls spent a long time looking for parking and so our empty table was right in front of us but instead we were just standing in the tiny space waiting around, trying not to hover over other diners. I ordinarily don’t like the idea of tapas, but I was excited because the menu looked SO great and there was so much that I wanted to try. Unfortunately, I didn’t fall head over heels for most of what I ordered. I started with the red, white and blue sangria which was very good. It’s a mix of red and white wine with blueberry vodka and pieces of strawberries and oranges. Very refreshing! Then I ordered 3 different tapas: 1. DIPTRIO: This came with hummus, tzatziki and a red pepper and eggplant feta spread along with quite a lot of pita. This was my favorite dish of the evening, which is a little bit disappointing because it’s bread and dip. The hummus and tzatziki were both phenomenal… some of the best I’ve ever had, in fact! 2. GRILLEDCALAMARI: Comes tossed with Mediterranean herbs, olive oil and a balsamic glaze. This was okay, although it was a little bit chewy. It also wasn’t seasoned enough for me. I detected very little balsamic glaze and ended up asking for a side of the spicy aioli that comes with the fried calamari. If I were to order any calamari I may recommend the fried over the grilled. 3. SPINACHPIE: This is your standard spanikopita — spinach with feta wrapped in phyllo. I didn’t love this too much, either. The spinach was good but there was little to no feta, at least that I could detect. It is entirely possible that I ordered the wrong things. Most of my friends ordered the chilled beets salad and went bananas over it. The roasted salmon looked(and smelled) phenomenal, as well. There was no gazpacho(I think they may be taking it off of the menu) and sadly they were out of the tuna carpaccio last night. They also didn’t do anything to recognize our friends birthday, even with a little tiny tapas sized dessert, which is a little bit disappointing. Overall pretty good food and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Just not the best Mediterranean food you’ll get in the area.

I’ve only come here once and it was for their happy hour, which is a phenomenal deal. It runs Monday-Friday from 4:00 — 6:30PM, with 50% off cocktails and most of their tapas! Their prices are already quite reasonable, ranging from as cheap as $ 4.95 to $ 14.95(although the latter is for their crab cake), with most items running in between and on the cheaper end of the spectrum. So, take that and chop off 50%, and you get an amazing value. For example, I tried their hummus($ 5.95 before HH pricing), which came with a generous amount of both pita and hummus. It would be a great appetizer to share amongst a few people, and it’s less than $ 3! For that price, flavors and quality were wonderful. I also ordered a cocktail(forgot which one), which wasn’t particularly memorable but not bad. Admittedly, this is the only happy hour place I have checked out in my last few weeks here, so I don’t have any point of comparison. However, just based off my happy hour experiences as a whole, Mezze has a relatively impressive quality-quantity-price triad. Would go back!

My second time at Mezze was better than the first, but still not phenomenal. With two more people joining us, we were able to sample quite a few more dishes. The potato duo was delicious and I definitely recommend it. But skip the tomato flatbread, as our was undercooked. The chicken kabobs were nothing special, but the meatballs were eaten up pretty quickly. Our spinach pie was forgotten about, and when it did finally reach our table, it was severely lacking in feta. The ravioli was the same as before — all one color, still lacking some flavor. It seems like half of the dishes are done well, and the other half are just okay. And for what you’re paying, it just doesn’t seem worth it to put yourself through a hit or miss situation.

Mezze has undergone some meaningful changes in the past year. Half of the building was under construction and the enhancements they invested in are for the better. They knocked down a few walls, opening up the 2nd floor space, painted it with bright teals/reds/whites, and spilt the one large restroom into two appropriately sized restrooms. The result is a much brighter and livelier ambiance that adds to the customer experience. Additionally, the menu has been trimmed. Although my favorite olive tapenade is now gone, an overwhelming menu of 6 – 7 pages has been reduced to the best 4 pages of ideas. This is great, as I have brought a lot of out of town guests to Mezze and seen new guests get overwhelmed at all the options. Anyways, it’s better than before. If you haven’t, you should!

Drinks are very good(Spicy Sidecar and Old Fashioned). Unique and delicious. Pita bread was great Falafel was a tad dry($ 7) – perhaps, too much chickpeas or flava beans. Sauce was a sour cream, hummus, lemon blend. A little too dry for the Falafel. Crab Cakes were very good($ 14). Three small cakes(about the size of a golf ball), but well seasoned and good blend of crab and filler. The sauce was a spicy, Aioli sauce that provided a little kick and good compliment. Service was excellent. Meg is a great Server. Very friendly and attentive! Summary: A hidden gem. We walked into the place by mistake, but the Mediterranean food is very good!

Small plates of food are served here… tapas. We ordered four plates between the two of us and still left hungry. Carlos, our waiter, brought our food to us. It was hot, but took a while to get to the table. Disappointed that our bread came out with the meal, instead of during the time we waited for our food. Carlos left the menu with us in case we wanted to order more, but there are not enough tapas in the world, or pockets deep enough to afford enough to fill us up. The 5 shrimp fritters melted in our mouths. The 3 pieces of spinach pie was hot and flaky. The 4 or 5 crab and artichoke fritters were more artichoke than crab. The 3 chicken kabobs were flavorful.

This is for HAPPYHOURONLY! I’ve been here at least 3 times for HH over the last year. Amazing because basically the entire food menu is half price with the exception of a few pricier items. I normally detest tapas because of the sheer volume that I eat. When its half price, the little delicious plates become affordable and I can stuff my face. I really enjoyed the spinach puffs, the yogurt dip, and some of the heartier beef on mashed potatoes dish and the lamb(its been a few weeks so I don’t exactly remember the names). Service has always been good. My one tip is, don’t let your eyes be bigger than your stomach because I consistently over order here. I.e. the food portions are actually pretty good for tapas.

Excellent Tapas — great for vegetarians or carnivores. I received a gift card for this place back in December but kept putting off going because I thought it was kind of snobby/uptight. I was completely wrong, the place is great, nice atmosphere, high quality food and the service was really friendly. They have possibly the best happy hour in Fells Point(and I’ve been pretty much everywhere) 50% off EVERYTHING except a handful of high end seafood entrees. I will definitely return soon and bring friends.

Mezze was a genuine pleasure. Mezze is located in Fells Point, which is difficult to access, but not inordinately so. The restaurant itself is impeccably designed, though I believe a portion of it is off-limits for renovation, so I didn’t get to see much of it. Prices are on the mid-high level for the area, but a happy hour discount makes the plates a bit more affordable. The food here is superb, though not without a small number of misses. I adored the Beef & Lamb Meatballs — they were just perfect. Same goes for the Tuna Carpaccio — it was literally the best carpaccio I’ve ever had. The shark fritters were also good, though shark tends to be relatively tasteless, so it was hard to make them much more interesting than any other fish. The Mediterranean dips they offer are pretty good as well. I found the fried calamari to be the least interesting of the bunch, as it felt like too much dough for too little calamari(a typical concern for these sort of dishes). I also tried one of their drinks — a lemon-y sort of heavy cream drink, the name of which I forgot, which was delicious — and their sangria. Both were good, especially for the area. This is a phenomenal place for higher-end tapas and drinks in Baltimore, especially if you go during happy hour. I highly recommend it.
