Had this at Hopkins catered lunch. The hot panini sandwiches were INCREDIBLE. we had every flavor and they were all amazing.

JAWA Market is located inside Northeast Market. It’s one of the few places that provides unique sandwiches at the market. They won a City Paper award for best shrimp salad. Personally I’m a fan of the chicken salad, santa fe wrap, and garden turkey sandwich. While the sandwiches look a little small, they are surprisingly filling, and have a ton of flavor.

(11/​13/​2013) Got some «catering» from Jawa for a work meeting at Hopkins. Northeast Market is conveniently located near JHMI. Our hosts frequent this stall at the market and recommended the paninis (looked good, warm, full of fillings). I had a Chicken Noodle Soup (they were out of the desire Cream of Broccoli that day). Chicken looked to be strips of sliced deli meat, chock full of medium egg noodles, fresh celery and carrot chunks. Strange off-​flavor like garlic powder/​lemon pepper. OK, not great. Will go for a sandwich next time.
