Had half a Peruvian chicken and a gyro; price was a bit much for what you’re getting but not too bad. Taste was great, even though I had the gyro taken home and eaten the next day. In conclusion, food is good here, but considering how easily Peruvian chicken can be made at home, I feel like a slight price reduction might be appropriate.

4.5 stars really. I would love to comment on anything other than the chicken but I can’t bring myself to order anything else. It’s so, so good. Love the sauces it comes with, and some fresh lime slices as well. Usually go with fries and a salad for the sides. Greek salad dressing, amazing. Caeser as well. All oversized servings and super fresh.(I just wish the salad came seperate for take out so it would stay cool and crisp.) Go try their rotisserie chicken!

I work up the street and tried this place for the first time yesterday. I ordered the Peruvian chicken with rice and corn. Everything was delicious and the food came out in a timely fashion. I will definitely be back.

This place was pretty good… I got the falafel balls with tzatziki and two sides: corn and green beans. I felt like the corn needed some butter and the green beans needed some seasoning, but overall good. I even enjoyed the Malbec which comes in a small bottle @5.99. You place your order at the counter and they call your number to pick up your food. There was ample seating available around 7:30 pm on a Wednesday… not surprising. I would come back again.

I was so excited to hear we had a Peruvian joint in midtown Baltimore city. I’m a huge fan of Peruvian food and over the years have been to many establishments be it a hole in the wall like Pollo amigo in Towson or a chain like Sardis in Gaithersburg, MD. This restaurant was by far the worst. They are not authentic at all, in fact they might be insulting Peruvian cuisine. The chicken flavors aren’t that great. The sauces are all watery & bland. They do not even serve yuca fries. Never going back. It’s a waste of space.

This is another top choice for myself as a UB student. The prices here are reasonable for the amount and quality of the food they offer here. A quarter chicken with two sides is ~$ 7. Definitely worth the money for the price. The chicken is amazing. They marinate it and spice it to perfection. The sides I’ve tried out so far are fries, green beans, and rice. The fries are also amazing. The green beans were okay but I plan on trying out the sides before coming back to them. The rice was good but could use more flavor. However, it does come nice to be a little flavorless since the chicken was flavorful. Positives: TV’s Large selection of food. rotisserie chicken to gyro’s clean environment Since starting the school semester, they have been putting daily weekday deals. One I’ve noticed was ½ off bottle of wines on Wednesday’s.

The chicken is so, so good(and it comes with lime, which I don’t think is standard, but certainly appreciated) – perfectly seasoned, fall-off-the-bone, and moist – and, at $ 7.99 for ¼ dark meat and 2 big sides, it’s a crazy good deal – only thing I’d kick up a notch is the spiciness of the green sauce Extra bonuses: Craft beer on draft, bottles also Outside seating in addition to casual seating inside They are open til 11! So happy I stumbled on this place – I’ll be coming back often

Hands down the absolute best Peruvian chicken I have EVER tasted. Being a decent cook myself, it is quite difficult to get the breast of a whole chicken as seasoned as the rest of it but this place has mastered the technique.(It has to be brined). I cannot speak to anything else on the menu here because I only come for the Peruvian chicken but there are a variety of items available. They also have Wine Wednesday’s where the bottles of wine are 50% off.

Have gone here several times for lunch. It’s a great lunch spot and and a nice change from the Jay’s conglomerate. So far everything I’ve tried is pretty tasty. Chicken, fries, house rice, green beans.(I love that they keep their green beans crisp.) It’s always felt clean and organized. There’s one cashier who expects you to know their menu as well as she does. If you ask the wrong question you might get a look from her and feel like you’re asking the world’s dumbest question. I really love the falafel pita and like the gyro but they are both very difficult to eat as a sandwich. The toppings aren’t chopped small enough to work well in a pita. Nonetheless, I always enjoy the food and am glad they’re an option in mid-town.

I seriously love this place — and not because my son used to live upstairs. It’s clean and the service is fast. I really like the price and the taste! The Peruvian chicken. OMG. They should be making a killing with single women who stock-pile rotisserie chickens.(Don’t get offended. I’m including myself in that stereotype). If not, move to the county! Anyway, I digress. Is the chicken authentically Peruvian? How would I know. All ethnic food served in America is flavored to our palate. I don’t really care. It’s awesome. The green beans are delicious and the fries are fresh and seasoned perfectly. I should try something else but I keep coming back to that one dish and it’s consistently good! Only thing — would love to see a fountain soda machine on the outside and not a drink cooler. That is all.

This chicken is amazing! I just found out about Grille Twelve 24 and am mad I just found out about it! The chicken is spiced perfectly and so moist! And the rice is also so so good! And I love the petite bottles of wine cap off a perfect meal. Oh. Oh. The price. So cheap for so much good food! Come. Here. Now.

This place is VERY far from Peruvian. I’ve had plenty of Peruvian food to know what that’s like and this is not it. Any they don’t have Inca Cola! How does a place that claims to be Peruvian not have Inco Cola or Chicha Morada??? I will say, their chicken is always tender and juicy whether is dark meat or white meat. The sauce that comes with the chicken is awesome, love it! On the other hand all of the sides I’ve tried are a disaster. Soggy fries, way too much oregano on the string beans, rice is bland, the black beans come with pineapple(WHAT???Who does that??). The only one I tried that is okay, is the corn… it’s pretty hard to mess up corn on the cob.

Live in walking distance and decided to check this place out. Very nice place inside. I ordered the managers special which was $ 9.99 for ¼ Peruvian chicken, two sides and a soda. Considering the prices at other Peruvian chicken joints in other cities, this place wasn’t too over priced, about average. The chicken was delicious! The string beans I got as a side… A bit too crunchy for my liking. The Caesar salad I got as the other side was normal, can’t expect much from a generic Caesar salad lol. Overall I would say it was good, I would give it another try since I live close. But I definitely wouldn’t choose the crunchy like a stale cookie green beans again.

**** Please Grille Twelve 24 get a website or at least add your menu options here on Unilocal ** I will start with I cant wait to come back and try the chicken since that seems to be their specialty. I didn’t order it because i wasn’t in the mood for chicken I met my lunch companion here as we were excited to try the place since we haven’t been yet. I think they opened during the winter. I was really about that 10 block walk in the cold. As we were standing in line and I was going over the menu lots of items to choose. Meat lovers and vegetarian options also. The sandwich options look yummy and being a sandwich person I gravitated towards them, but then I saw the turkey burger! wwhaaatt. Yes. I got a Turkey burger with a side of a cucumber salad(it wasnt called that, though) and medium cup with ice water. I believe my total was around $ 8.00. I wasn’t mad at what I got. Great flavored ground turkey meat, hand made. Not some frozen patty. And the cucumber salad was lightly tossed in a dressing. I will say my turkey burger was smaller than I was expecting. Listen I wasn’t expecting a super large 8 ounce burger. But I thought of something bigger would make an appearance. Anywho, it tasted great and the bun was soft . My lunch companion order a shrimp salad on white bread with a side of fries and medium fountain drink. $ 17.25 !!! Here’s my break down: For the folks that think this place is expensive, I believe you have to pay attention to the menu. Most items don’t come with a side. Looks like the chicken has platters options. So you have to be sure what ever you ordering see if it comes with sides and then you may want to see the cost of the sides you are ordering. They were running a daily special that was a sandwich, fries and & drink for 10.00. It would be nice to log on a website and check out the daily specials. Id be interested in the size of the sandwiches to see if you even need a side. Service was cool, no issues and problems. Everyone was nice and cool. Service notes: At some point we didn’t know if you were supposed to throw your trash away or if someone bused it for you. I didn’t see any trash cans. Maybe at the point of checking out someone could tell you. As we where literally out of the door we saw where there was trash cans with trays on it. Somehow we missed it. Also when checking out … I wasnt sure how the food was coming. Was someone going to bring the food, or was a number going to be called, or was the order going to be called. Funny thing all three things happened for different orders. My Lunch companion number was called, I also heard some ones order being called. The my order was brought to me. **shrugs**. I just the kind of person that likes to know. Pay for you food and a cashier will say they call your number, or someone will bring your plate to your… or listen out for your order. Whatever just something to make it easier. These are just my thoughts. Maybe Im an idiot. I will be back!

I’ve been here two other times after my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised! It might have been what I ordered, but it was much more delicious than my first visit. I ordered the ¼ chicken meal(it comes with two sides). The«white meat» comes with a breast and a wing and the«dark meat» option comes with a thigh and a drumstick. You definitely get more meat with the«white meat» option, but I like dark meat and it was a little juicier. For the sides, I would definitely try the«house rice» because it’s really savory and has little vegetables like green beans and carrots and it is DELISH. I could eat a whole bowl of that. I also tried the caesar salad and I like how they don’t skimp on using fresh ingredients. The cheese was slices of grated parmesan(rather than that powdery weird parmesan some restaurants use) and the croutons were also crunchy and flavorful. The caesar dressing is sorta in between creamy and vinaigrette and is pretty tart. I’m a student so I got a student discount, which is 10% off– not a lot, but every saving helps! For the ¼ meal, it’s around $ 8.50– very reasonable!

I’ve been here twice and both times my food has been deelish. Initially I tried the Nova Scotia(think BLT with smoked salmon spread), which would be so much better with actual real smoked salmon… but it was passable. The second time I had their take on an Italian Cold Cut. Still good. I’ve yet to try the peruvian chicken. The only thing about this spot is the transition from ordering to waiting. Because their is no real waiting area for take out, you’re kind of meandering by tables. Nothing worse than having your butt towards someone who’s trying to eat. LOL It’s in my neighborhood, so i’d try it again.

I tried this place one time with a friend; I got chicken salad with fries and potato salad. The fries and potato salad were fine, nothing special. My portion of chicken salad was so huge that I couldn’t eat it like a sandwich and I wish I had asked for other toppings like lettuce, tomato, etc. I’m pretty particular about the way that I like my chicken salad and I found this chicken to be ~ too flavorful ~ if that makes any sense and I don’t like it when chicken salad is shredded so finely that it becomes homogenous the way that tuna salad is. Even though I didn’t really like what I ordered, this place seems like it could be good so I’ll probably be back to try something different from the menu. I like that the interior is spacious and that there’s plenty of seating plus the staff was friendly.

I decided to venture here for lunch, regardless of the fact I couldn’t find a menu on line to save my life. I have ¼ Peruvian Chicken(not that I couldn’t have eaten a half. But then I would’ve need a nap, and my job frowns upon napping v. working) with fries and a side salad. The fries were delicious, fresh cut and salad was your standard salad. The chicken was moist and delicious, but missing all the«gunk» under the skin that most Peruvian Chicken comes with(and by gunk, I mean sweet, delicious seasonings). I wish they had some nice yuca or other Latin dishes. I will say, that the customer service here is a huge reason I will be back. Everyone was friendly and helpful, even during the busy lunch hour. I got my food in no time, and wasn’t rushed at all.

Grille Twelve 24 seems to have an identity crisis, which isn’t always a bad thing. But in this case, I can’t say it helps. The idea is great because at a first glance, I love their menu. It has a lot of different foods that I like, and I want to try everything on it. I’ve had their Peruvian chicken, gyros, chicken wings, sandwiches, spinach pies, falafels, and cheese steaks. The pictures are very deceivingly mouth watering. However, the result is a sub-par hodge-podge of different foods that can be obtained elsewhere for lower price and higher quality. On a positive note, this place is new and has time to improve. The interior is great. Modern décor, plenty of seats, and very clean.
