This place is a joke. We are renting a house and in the lease we were told to use Griffith. The day before the blizzard that we just had we were out of oil and I was told that they could not send a person until Monday. They came after all weekend with no heat and 2 feet of snow on Tuesday and filled the tank. The heat would not turn on and I called them again last night around 630pm. They said a person would be available soon and call. We went to be since we all have jobs and I woke to a missed call at 11pm. Called back this morning at 730am at work and was told they would come later. Was called at 10am and told them I was at my job so they said to call when I am off to get someone to come by. I called at 530pm and it is now 920pm. 5 days without heating. Thank you Griffith.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid these nitwits. I made the mistake of not reading reviews prior to doing business with Griffith and I regret having not done so. Donna(who is mentioned in a previous review) has no skills and I had to go through two other ninnies to get to her. I fired Griffith and went with a competitor(Farmer’s CO-OP). They were friendly, professional and clearly explained their services. BTW… a 1 star rating is too high for Griffith.

I just got off the phone with Donna who was unwilling to help me. We are looking into installing a ventless propane heat stove in our home. She told me that they won’t run lines into our home at all. Am I wrong? I just called and confirmed that they do in fact offer this service. She just didn’t want to be bothered with helping me. I guess that’s not her bread and butter :(Customer service is important and this company has none.

This company is absolutely the worst. In addition to Amy K’s review below(which I could write right now word for word — from my own experience). Talking to anyone there runs the gamut from clueless to down right rude. Customer service is an absolute JOKE. Save for one person in the sales and marketing department who has customer service skills, do yourself a huge favor and do not use this company. The worst in all manners pertinent to a reliable, capable, organized business.

Why I spent four years giving them money is beyond me. The worst service ever. By the end I told them to take the oil out of the tank and I no longer want to do business with them. They don’t care about the customer at all.
