Nice variety of pastries, and what we got was good, but we didn’t know what anything was called, because the owner had a pretty thick accent and was kinda quiet on top of it. If you want to go in and point at the pastry that looks good to you, this place is great, and you’ll probably be pretty happy with what you get. If you already know what everything is, why are you reading this post? :P

I had to stop in just to finally see what the bakery had to offer. A nice mix of pastries, breads and greek desserts is what I found. I ordered a cannoli and a couple of small rolled baklava for a small dessert snack. The cannoli was good and the filling was thick. It wasn’t the best cannoli that I have ever had but I also wouldn’t shy from a second. The owner was very nice and tried to up-sell us some ginger-cake cookies which were really good. A great place to stop after a night out for some greek food.

My husband and I were on our way home from Baltimore the other day and saw this shop along the way and stopped in. This tiny, plain-looking store with a limited number of items for sale turned out to be a find! We bought the most wonderful feta! It was labelled«barrel feta.» We assumed it was imported, but maybe it’s the homemade cheese referred to in the previous review. It’s $ 9.00 a pound, but a little goes a long way as it’s very rich. The lady who served us was welcoming. And she didn’t seem to mind selling cheese and olives in small quantities, which is nice as there are only two of us at home now. This woman apparently makes all the Greek pastries herself. As the previous reviewer notes, the baklava are huge. We bought two and found ourselves with several night’s worth of dessert.

This place has pastries just as good as they make them in Greece! They are seriously delicious and drenched liberally in honey. We bought bakalva and kataifi.(Plus, the portions are enormous so you feel like you get your money’s worth for the price — $ 3.50 per pastry). They have a nice selection of pastries and other Greek imported products like chocolates, etc. They also have homemade feta cheese which is out of this world(that they actually make themselves right in the back). You just can’t buy feta this good in regular grocery stores. We now have a new favorite guilt pleasure!
