Great menu and very quaint. Have stopped by alone or with out of town visitors and this place never disappoints. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the beef tongue variations. The octopus is a delight. The beet salad is food art. And there are always new surprises on the menu. Hands down our favorite place in town so far.

We have a boat at Anchorage Marina across the street from this restaurant. Last night we were looking for someplace nice and visited for the first time. It was amazing and we will definitely go back. We just wanted appetizers and a drink. We were. Warmly greeted and sat at a banquette in the bar. The server was knowledgeable about the wines and recommended one my wife loved. I had their special version of a Paloma. She ordered mussels in a curry parsley sauce. They were the fattest mussels I’ve ever seen perfectly cleaned and the sauce was not overpoweringly curry. Excellent! I had grilled octopus over façade beans, also excellent. The staff let us tour and we like the way it’s split into many levels and small rooms. Our check was about $ 40; entrees were $ 20-$ 30. Great place for a romantic dinner or an end of the day drink.

Yummy bread. What stands out? The mayo dipping sauce that came with the shishito peppers. Overall, we ordered three hot dishes and they all came out lukewarm. Not sure why, and it was not a busy night. The flavor was really good. Good idea on the sauté greens that came with the main dishes. Duck, porkchop, mussels. Really tasty cocktails.

A $ 30 lamb chop dinner consisted of two(2) small lamb chops. The wine glass was dirty and had to be replaced … Twice! The dining room was crowded and very noisy. The service was actually very good but that did not compensate for the flaws.

Excellent. ravioli with Chevre, fiddle heads, little mushrooms… My date’s rockfish was perfect and desert was to die for. We showed up at 9pm, no reservations and got lucky with the best seat in the house. The drink list was competitive for this neighborhood.

WOW is this place amazing. First off the cocktails are unbelievable. They do a phenomenal job here. Any handmade cocktail you order will blow your mind. We promise. The appetizers are so creative. We had the octopus(just ok), the beef tartare with popcorn and a quail egg(amazing), veal meatballs(amazing) and a few more. The way they pair the meat of the dish with sides and veggies is just an amazing balance of flavors. Just by reading the memo you will be wowed. The entrees were great as well. We had the lamb(so flavorful), monkfish(beautiful piece of fish) and duck(cooked so perfectly). We finished off with the churros for dessert which are must haves. The menu changes every few months since it is fully seasonal and that is awesome. @OfficialFoodGroup highly recommends this place. Check out more of our pictures on our Instagram account!

Fork & Wrench is a beautiful, upscale dive bar(what an oxymoron!). I made an early dinner reservation for 2 and arrived to a near empty restaurant on a Saturday evening. The Good: The food and ambiance are great! The bread with house churned butter melted in my mouth. I am glad I saw the note that the bread and butter are upon request, I would have completely overlooked that detail. The Orchard Punch cocktail was delicious– not too strong and not too sweet, just right! I also enjoyed the Cauliflower Mac & Cheese and Halibut entrée. The Questionable: The seating at this restaurant is really awkward. My husband and I were seated on the second floor at a high top table right next to the staircase. Our waitress almost knocked something off of our table and over the landing… I had a bit of anxiety during our meal because of the heights situation. Also, the«chairs» are high stools with no backs… kind of makes for an uncomfortable dining experience and nowhere to accommodate a bag or purse. Our waitress, while very sweet, was also very awkward. I’m not sure if she was new or not used to waitressing, but she had a very nervous demeanor about her. Overall, I’d be back for more signature cocktails and delicious bread with butter!

Had an early dinner with 3 other friends here. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. This was the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time. My party had sides as our apps. The sweet potato and kale with mint was killer. The brussels sprouts with pecans also amazing and I’m not a fan of nuts. The grilled octopus was just ok. It should have been chard a bit more. I had the Corvina for my main dish. This fish dish was spot on. It’s a dense fish and the skin was crispy!!! It was served over farro with chorizo. I thought the chorizo was a bit over powering but still very very good. My dinner mate had the roasted chicken. My entire table agreed this was the best restaurant chicken we have had in forever. Juicy with an amazing glaze and crispy skin. I’m going back just for the chicken! I didn’t try the other 2 mains. We share the churros for dessert. I’m not a big sweets girl but they were a good bite. Not too sweet, hot out of the fryer with the perfect amount of cinnamon. We lingered for a good 3 hours over this meal. It was an amazing Sunday afternoon. I’m going back for sure.

Amazing rustic décor & equally amazing food. The menu constantly changes, but I loved everything I had & would vouch for the high quality of food. The award-winning Satin Slipper cocktail is sweet and refreshing; the ham croquettes, pan-seared corvina, roasted black bass, and goat cheesecake made for the best food I’ve had in Baltimore. Great, friendly server who really knew the food. Unique decorations: a huge fish carved out of food, a bird cage, piles of books – old-timey and a lot of fun. Apparently booths on the mezzanine floor can be booked up to a month in advance for special occasions like Valentine’s Day.

The food and ambience here were fantastic! The restaurant is rustic and modern in a vintage/remodeled kind of way and there are multiple levels which keeps the noise level down. There is a good mix of small and large tables, so this would be a good choice for any type of intimate or group dinner. The drink list was extensive, but used a lot of fancy ingredients… so after trying to pronounce a few of them, we went with the two good ones the waiter explained(brass tack — a mule with some cherry notes– and winter moon — a rye drink that was a little sour and bitter, but also sweet and comforting) and they were great. We tried the Brussels sprouts side as an appetizer and they were SOGOOD — salty but sweet with a maple glaze and pecans, we’d never had anything like them and were very pleased. Honestly, that could have been my dinner. For entrees, we tried the pork shank and the corvina — both were cooked perfectly. The fish was flaky but meaty and the pork was falling off the bone and flavorful. Both came with some yummy sauce soaked carbs. For dessert we ordered the apple cider donuts with buttermilk ice cream and rum. raisins and the donuts were warm and delicious — not too sweet but still a great dessert. The waiter even gave us a 3rd donut for our party of 3(at no extra charge). Beware of getting too excited about online menus you can find, they change every couple of weeks(but definitely to keep things fresh and exciting). We loved the restaurant, but are giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the service was SOSLOW! The waiter was so kind and helpful with the menu, but we were at dinner for 2.5 hours, even though we’re speedy people(i.e. Most of it was spent waiting for food since we ate all of the yummy foods so quickly). Would recommend, and will be back!

Fork & Wrench is easy to find, nestled into the bustling restaurant scene on Boston Street in Canton. I have no idea how anyone finds parking spaces anywhere around there, so we opted for the $ 7 valet. This place has a really inviting –if dim– atmosphere, decorated with dark wood, old furniture, and other antiqued neo-industrial elements. There are shelves of books in some areas, and some leather chairs up front that would not be out of place in the waiting area of on old time barber shop(those chairs are much in need of repair, though. They may want to revisit their commitment to their theme.) We sat in the downstairs dining room across from the bar, in an upholstered round booth that seemed to be from a 19th century parlor room under an Edison lamp. They have a great draft selection with half a dozen local craft beers, which seemed carefully chosen more than a random group. I opted for an excellent porter from Brewer’s Art. My wife decided to choose a Brass Tack, a sweet drink from their cocktail menu made with rum and ginger beer. I was a little surprised that one of the bartenders doubled as our waiter(even though we were in the bar area,) and he was extremely knowledgeable about all the menu items. We started with a Grilled Octopus, which I was a little worried about as I have eaten buckets of calamari in my time but never its eight-armed cousin. The bartender explained exactly how the octopus was prepared to keep it tender, and after tasting it I am surprised there are any octopi left in the ocean. It was incredibly tender with a perfect texture and the light grilling gave it such a wonderful flavor we just wanted to gobble it down as fast as we could. We also ordered the Chicken Liver Mousse, which came served in a tall shot glass with a fig marmalade and crunchy mustard.(I was amused to see they used some of the marmalade to glue the glass to the plate– no spills in this restaurant!) As in most cases where spreads are a menu item, I wish they had given us more toast points with the plate, but it just gave us an excuse to pile the mousse high on top of the marmalade or mustard, both of which blended with the mousse to make for delicious bites. My wife had a hard time deciding between the Brisket and the Pork Shank, so the bartender asked her how hungry she was, When she replied, «Very», he said, «Pork Shank.» These large chops came in a flavorful mole sauce. It took some effort, but she did save(part of) one to take home. I ordered the Black Cod Bouillabaisse, which provided the only miss of the evening. The fish was cooked perfectly, flaky and tender, and the mussels were also very good and the head-on shrimp were great. Alas, the saffron broth arrived lukewarm and not very flavorful, perhaps so it would not overwhelm the fish and maybe the wide shallow bowl cooled it quickly, but I was hoping for more of a punch after the appetizer round. We ended with a Lemon Poundcake which was very dense but very lemony, and came with a beet and cardamom ice cream. My wife turned her nose up at that swearing she could taste too much of the beet; all I could taste was the cardamom and I was more than happy to finish off the rest. Maybe there were some misses, but between the food, the staff, and the décor this is a place I want to enjoy as often as I can.

Reminds me of Woodberry Kitchen with the whole farm-to-table concept and the interior design. As the reviews state, this restaurant and bar is known for their cocktails. They have a vast selection of contrails to choose from and they all have fancy names. To start, definitely ask for bread and butter. The bread is from pitango bakery. I had the pan seared corvina for my meal. The fish was perfectly cooked(crispy skin) and seasoned(not too salty). The fish came with farro that tasted like it was cooked liked a risotto. Very appetizing and nicely portioned. Menu changes often so make sure to check before you go.

I try to stop in to Fork and Wrench whenever I’m in the area. I love that there’s an extensive collection of quality cocktails available in addition to seasonal specials. On my most recent visit, I had a fall inspired margarita. It tasted like fall in a glass, honestly, with hints of cinnamon and apple. I really hope to get to try the food out next time I’m nearby. If it’s half as good as the drinks, I’m sure it will be amazing.

Phenomenal. I wish I could use a half star — because I’d give it a solid 4.5 stars for food quality, selection and taste. I give the restaurant a 5 for service and ambiance. And finally a 4 for overall impact(we didn’t eat desert so I can’t rate a full meal). What a cool space. The general feeling is super hip with a bar that invites a by-gone era and a super pleasant and very eclectic menu. We had a good assortment of menu items — shared in small plate format. The best thing on the menu for me was the protein. In fact, the pork was amazing. Super succulent and very tender. The kale salad was giant. Enough for three people. They make their own bread and have the best salted butter around. Finally, F&W has a full bar, decent wine list and a good assortment of local beers. For me the best for me was the delightful melding of deep down, rib sticking comfort food and a chic, hip environment. Our dinner was in the bar and the server was the bar tender. She was great and help to steer us around the menu to assure we had a fun and tasty evening. For certain, the next time I’m in Baltimore — I’ll go back to the Fork & Wrench!

Stopped in for brunch a while back. We’d made Open Table reservations just to make sure we’d have a seat. Turns out we didn’t need them as the place was practically empty. We ordered two specialty drinks, The Ginger Pomegranate Mimosa and Tanner’s Spicy Bloody Mary, both of which were delicious. Our server was doubling as a bartender so at times he was just observing from afar, attentive but not overbearing. I had the steak and eggs which were fantastic, perfectly cooked but too salty. Ambiance is super cool– a mix of old school and industrial.

I just want to say thank you so much for the wonderful night! Major props to the servers for being able to put up with my mother and sister’s question on how to make focaccia bread. Later on, to even bring out the chef that made the bread that day and show them how to prep the bread step by step. The food here was made to order and definitely did not come short of impressive. The drinks here are also done very well and to order(incase you prefer a specific base). Also, if you are unsure of what to get, the bartenders are more than willing to suggest a cocktail with a good certainty that you will love it. The atmosphere is very casual and laid back with the professionalism of a high end restaurant. With that said, there is no true dress code so jeans and a t-shirt should be fine.

We came for Sunday brunch and it was so great! We got eggs Benedict with crispy pork belly and potatoes. The Hollandaise sauce was perfect. My daughter is three and we asked if she could get a single pancake and they were very accommodating with her and brought a plate with just one pancake and lots of butter and syrup. The waitress was very sweet. The lemon curd donuts were so good! There was candies lemon on top and lots of lemon crème. The donuts were fresh and hot. We will definitely be back!

What an incredible dining experience. First off, there is plenty of space. There are 4 floors where food is served. It’s also very cool to walk around and observe the ambiance and décor the restaurant offers. It’s as much a museum as it is a dining establishment. The food was exquisite. My son ordered the gnocchi and it was clearly handmade. I had the leg of lamb. My wife had the snapper. We ordered the buttery cake for dessert. Every piece of our meals was prepared with extreme care and love, and that’s something you can taste. As for the cocktails, I had a vieux carre and I could immediately tell it was made by an expert mixologist bartender. I’m extremely impressed by this restaurant. But the experience doesn’t stop there. Walk across the street for a stroll along the promenade for an amazing after-dinner calorie burn! We will be back, especially when we have out of town guests we’re trying to impress.
