Not too bad. I think this is my first time in Canton. I bet this place is awesome during a football game. It has a very nice set up and nice bar. But I was not here to watch a game. I stopped in here with my old roomie and her family for some dinner. I tried some of the Old Bay Wings and they were excellent. They would have been bland, but it was the Old Bay that gave it kick. But then again anything with Old Bay on it is awesome. Gnocchi was OK. I love Gnocchi, but I always compared it to Gnocchi I’ve had in Europe. So I have high standards when it comes to it. This dish came in its own bake ware with fresh mozzarella. The portion was probably enough for 2 servings. I ended up taking half of it home with me. It wasn’t overly flavorful and the texture was a bit mushy. But its not half bad. As far as food goes, its OK. Probably not a good choice for the overly healthy conscious people, but if you don’t care about grease and fried everything, then this is not a bad choice. Def not good for you… I’m in carb shock because I tend to stay away from starches and carbs so I can get a round turn on my glycemic index. This is one of those places where you would go for some good bar food treats.

I have been to Della Rose’s many times, but have just forgotten to check in with Unilocal.Regardless, the place has always been average. It is close and convenient and has traditional American fare. Don’t expect a great dinner or super service but it is consistently average. The menu is pretty diverse and the beer selection is decent. I have gone back so I don’t hate it… but it isn’t anything to write home about.

Sadly, a downgrade — and due to the food — not the service or the fact that we had our baby with us. 1. French dip — almost NO meat and the dip was salty salty salty — like it was really just beef bouillon and water 2. Fries — Sysco? 3. Lima bean soup — we thought this would be good as it is an unusual menu item — Nope. it was just about as flat tasting as lima beans in vegetable broth. bummer 4. crab cake platter(single) — good but small for what they charge you. We ordered the asparagus side — they were cooked well(I hate mushy spears) but we got a grand total of only 6 — wha?! 6 asparagus spears do not make a side. lame 5. They have the Bohtini on the menu — totally stole if from Pearls on Aliceanna(was flipcup or something like that for a while) — VERYLAME stealing something unique like that from a smaller, less well known bar. Good news — the mac and cheese was really good(white cheddar or something with ziti) and they still have natty boh on tap. I won’t be back until it’s nice out and I can use the patio with my dog and stick to the beer and wings.

After emailing a couple places for a potential rehearsal dinner location for our wedding, we decided on Della Roses in Canton for several reasons. Nicole, the event coordinator for Della Roses, was very friendly and immediately emailed a catering menu to me. The location in Canton was not far from the church and it was easy to get to with plenty of free parking. We were having 21 people for the rehearsal dinner and from the catering menu, we chose salad, lasagna, steamed veggies, potatoes and had a cookie tray for dessert. Nicole sent over the quote and included soda/coffee for everyone as well as the tax and tip for the entire bill. The total was less than $ 500 and was very affordable for our rehearsal dinner. Nicole confirmed via email a couple days before the rehearsal dinner and asked what time we would like the food out. We told her a little before 7 would be good. My fiancé and I arrived first at a quarter to 7 and saw that we had one whole side of the restaurant for our party. The food was being set up buffet style and everything looked good. After everyone arrived and got situated, we all went to get plates and start our dinner. The veggies didn’t taste so good to me, but everything else was great. Our servers were friendly and refilled our drinks often. It was a great place to have our rehearsal dinner.

Della Rose’s is a great place to watch the games. It’s never too crowded and I like the laid back atmosphere. More than the atmosphere I really like their wings. Specifically the old bay wings. You can get old bay wings pretty much anywhere in Baltimore, but these are special. First they’re always good an consistency matters. They put just the right amount of seasoning(I hate it when your lips burn afterwards). I’ve probably eaten here 15 times and I always get wings and a ceasar salad. They’re that good. The fish tacos are alright,(the fish is breaded and I prefer it unbreaded). Most importantly the beer is cold. Enough said.

Food was delicious! We were a party of three, came in around 11pm on Saturday night, the bar is tucked in under a large CareFirst Office structure, and I think it also had a hotel attached? It certainly wasn’t the easiest place to just run across. We were there following the Roller Derby match across the street, it was supposed to be a place the team went after but we never saw them show(at least not in force, maybe a few stragglers) On to the food! I got the jalapeño burger at the suggestion of the«best burger» from the waitress and OMG was it tasty! I will certainly hunt down a DellaRose’s by me if it is consistent across the board because, seriously, that burger was great, much better than Red Robin, whose burgers I’ve never really had a problem with. SO good! Paired with a Dreamsicle Crush which was strong and definitely started me off with a buzz. Husband had a turkey club, HUGE sandwich and very tasty, and magic hat and a natty boh, decently sized and decently priced. Friend had a wrap which she polished off post haste, and enjoyed very much, and a magic hat, which at $ 6 wasn’t great but not bad. We got a Boh-tini for fun, a natty-boh served in a martini glass with a Old Bay Rim, disgusting but very Maryland All in all it was a very tasty $ 60-ish meal(tip included), only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is the dead dead atmosphere was kind of a downer, but I will be back for the food.

This place is OK. Great for watching sports and playing shuffle board. I would need to check it out again because I came on a Sat when the BSSC was swarming the place. Waitresses were way busy and food took forever. The jerk chicken was marginal and overpriced for what it was. Price on Boh pitchers wasn’t too bad. Plenty of parking.

I love Della Roses for two reasons: Bubble Hockey and Shuffleboard. The food is also pretty tasty and unless a big game’s on, you can normally always get seats.

The food is good and the service is pretty good only if you can get a seat at the bar. The rest of the wait staff is terrible. My buddy and I waited almost 30 mins for a waitress to come over to our high top table in the bar area. No luck. We then decided to move into the dining room and wait another 10min. The waitress must have walked passed our table 5 times without acknowledging us. We finally gave up and went somewhere else to eat. I will not be going back there.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now. What keeps me coming back, is that on a Friday night it’s pretty empty, so you can eat and drink and get a bartenders attention without having to plow through people. As I am only 4’11, it is very hard for me to get through you tall people who like to crowd around bars and stuff. Anyhow. The food is about the same at the other Della Roses, which means it’s solid and usually delicious. Prices aren’t crazy, and service is fast and friendly. I always get pizza and fries, but the crab dip is also delicious. They also serve Natty Boh, which in my book is the greatest beer on Earth(I know it’s not).

It’s a little out of the way but Della Roses is a nice spot to grab a bite and a drink. Service was good, there was plenty of seating(inside and out) and the food was pretty good too. Tried the crab dip(very tasty AND served in a breadbowl –YUM) and the Cajun rubbed shrimp wrap(also delicious and so flavorful). Everyone else tried more carnivorous stuff like the cheesesteak, Italian sausage and ocean club sandwiches. Everyone left happy and I would definitely come back.

Yuck. Food was okay, but the service was horrible — the waitress was rude.

Update: I did finally receive a $ 25 gift card as compensation for our troubled experienced. I recently used that gift card to take my mom out to lunch on a recent Wednesday afternoon. We had a fine meal and watched the World Cup in peace. Therefore, I’m upping the rating as the service was fine, the food was good, and I had a pleasant experience. — — — — — — - I’ve been dining at Della Roses’ since they opened in Canton. At first, we thought that this would be a good place to take our family. Fairly loud, so our 2 small children wouldn’t disturb other patrons. Tables with a fair amount of space between them to park strollers and a kids menu. I’ve enjoyed a few things on their menu, including the tuna melt and the turkey burger. Actually, the turkey burger is quite excellent. However, the rest of the menu can best be described as pub grub. None of it particularly fresh or inventive. The true deterioration in my opinion of this establishment is the service. On several occasions, they have been very understaffed and the attitude we receive from the wait staff is that they are inconvenienced by our presence. On one recent occasion, my family arrived during a shockingly gorgeous day when a lot of people were dining in their patio, and another large group was at the bar. We(three adults, 2 children) sat down at 6PM. We told the waitress to put in our son’s quesadilla order in immediately so that we could have him fed and get us out of there before either of our children erupted. They both have about 45 minutes worth of patience. She took our drink orders and our son’s dinner order. The drinks arrived with an awful excuse for a quesadilla. Normally my son will eat just about anything, but this dried out, tasteless mess was discarded after 2 bites. Meanwhile, our waitress was running around trying to serve the entire outdoor area, plus a few other tables indoors. I had to waive her down to get our order, and when she arrived, she made us feel as though we were getting in her way. She then disappeared for 15 minutes. We saw her running back and forth from the outside group to the bar, but she didn’t check in on us. At one point, we asked her to check on our food(a turkey burger, a salad, and a plate of pasta, seriously, how hard is that?). She returned and said it’d be a few more minutes. My eldest, 2.5 years old, was insane by that point. He hadn’t eaten and was ready to tear the place in half. I gave up on receiving the food and walked the 5 blocks home with him. My wife, mother-in-law, and child stayed behind to eat their meals. I later learned that the waitress returned the table once and said«you still don’t have your food?» as if my family was supposed to go get it themselves from the kitchen. She returned five minutes later with a bowl of soup and said«they are almost done. Here’s your soup. I’m giving you a bowl but will only charge you for a cup». Awesome. ten minutes later, after 75 minutes at the restaurant, she admitted that the kitchen had lost our order. She did not apologize and said that they would only charge us for my son’s quesadilla, which was still sitting there, untouched. She asked my wife and mother-in-law to wait a few more minutes until they brought out the food. At that point, they’d eaten the packets of sugar and every ice cube out of their drinks. I finally saw them at home at 8PM with a few bags of food. They said that the waitress finally told them to take the food at no charge. She never apologized, however. I was so mad that I called and talked to the manager. He said that they apologized and that he was not aware of the problem. I told him he had lost a customer for life. The manager asked for another opportunity and said he would send us a gift card. Still waiting for the anger at the awful evening of truly bad service to subside. Also, still waiting for the gift card…

A friend of ours had a fundraiser here a couple weekends ago. We were outside with some cookout food enjoying the nice weather. Bartenders were really nice, menu looked typical for bar food(wings, sandwiches, crab dip, etc.). They cooked burgers and hot dogs for us so, I don’t know about the regular food, but the cookout food wasn’t that great. The best thing about this place is that you can bring your dog and hang out outside by the bar and have a cold one! There was a descent beer selection. We would go back, but probably not out of our way.
