Really terrible experience here — I was ordering a simple veggie bowl, and when I was ordering I wanted fajitas(it’s a veggie bowl…). They were out at the time but they said it was being prepared in the back and to wait four minutes. Great, I’ll wait four minutes since I had some time, and I’m ordering a veggie bowl so I want veggies. Ten minutes past and no one looked at the pan with the veggies, they looked like they were almost burning. I asked about my veggie bowl and they asked the person in charge of prep and they said it’s almost done. Only then did someone go and flip the fajitas, which, surprise surprise looked burnt. No follow up after, one employee asked if I wanted them to remake my bowl that was sitting out waiting for fajitas which was nice, but I wanted the fajitas and remakinf the bowl would not help with that. No follow up, no other offers to make up for this… And no apologies except some blank stares. So I walked away. For a company that has had bad reputation recently for food borne illnesses, I expected at least they would keep up the usual quality service. Nope.

Everything looks similar as the normal chipotle restaurant. The service was not as good as it should be. It is just on the left hand side of security check point. I liked it!

**** THIS place does not give a military discount! I am Homeland Security & had ID. Was denied. FYI, my cohorts went to Arby’s & Quiznos and they DID give military discount. Never going to a Chipotle again.

With all of the bad press Chipotle is experiencing, you would think a high profile location such as BWI would be the model of perfection. Quite the opposite! Workers playing around in the back while one person worked at the counter. The counter was disgusting, the chicken was cold when served, and the hot sauce dispenser was broken. The highlight of my meal was the Diet Coke I bought from McDonalds. I love Chipotle, but if this location is indicative of the company’s get well plan, they are in trouble!

This location needs some help desperately. The workers here seem completely uninterested in their job and the counters were disgusting. One of the girls behind the counter was taking a dry napkin to push the food remnants onto the floor and then took that same napkin to touch one of the bowls that were being made eek grossss! We then heard someone screaming in the kitchen and a loud crash and the assembly line workers just stopped what they were doing and were just staring into the kitchen for a minute or two before they resumed making our bowls. The portions they were giving from person to person was so inconsistent. This place is a hot mess!

Fo real? How do you not have any steak or chicken ready during the lunch rush at an airport? You will be penalized by 1(maybe 2) visit(s). Looks like next week I’ll be dining at your neighbor restaurant, Leeann Chin. Thanks a lot!

I have ordered from this particular location in the airport on several occasions now, and every time, my experience has been consistent and fresh. During the dinner hour, the line typically is about 15 people long, but the staff really try to hurry things along. Toppings seem to also be available, with cooks behind he counter constantly cooking more food to replenish food bins. Food always come out hot and yummy. Staff are also courteous, friendly, and genuinely appear to enjoy helping their customers.

Was so impressed how Jeremy handled a difficult customer. He was so professional, gracious and displayed actual customer service rarely seen today. My two second encounter with him truly brightened my day. I hope corporate reads this review… employees like him are definitely who you want representing your brand. He needs to be a manager or perhaps in your training department. And yes the food was outstanding as always!

First star is awarded because the burrito didn’t give me Ebola and the next 4 are for the most enthusiastic fast food worker in the history of fast food. Guy had a big smile serving up lots of Mexican food. He shouted at the girl in front of me and told her she was getting ‘turn’t up’ when she ordered black and pinto beans and exclaimed ‘that’s awesome you deserve it!!’ when she asked for barbacoa.

I had a bad experience with the manager, Calvin. I wanted salsa, which comes with the bowl. However, I wanted it on the side because my daughter doesn’t like it. The manager was running the register and charged me for the salsa. I told him it belonged on the bowl, but I wanted it on the side for my daughter. He refused and tried to charge us. I simply said, ok, just put it on the bowl, it’s part of the bowl. He refused, and told us we need to pay for the«extra» or to leave. I was shocked. I was calm, he was angry and unreasonable. It was a simple request. He mocked us, rolled his eyes at us and laughed at us. t was such a simple request, that every other Chipotle is happy to do. But this was bad, all the employees laughed, they were missing ingredients, it really soured my view. I hope Calvin learns that it wasn’t worth it to be such a jerk, it was just a request to put the salsa on the side, not on the burrito bowl.

Your standard Chipotle food. The best part was the cheerful, friendly employees who added a bright spot to my day, after having dealt with some very rude people at the security screening.

Maybe the slowest assembly line I’ve ever experienced. Don’t wait here if you’re in a hurry. Went for a second visit and they had a different team with a different sense of urgency. I’ve upgraded my review to 3 stars. Still needs improvement.

I was catching a flight back home to San Francisco after a long week with my family dealing with a dad having going into acute hospice, a mom with dementia etc etc. I was trying to get some lunch for the flight and lines were so long at all the restaurants — i watched this young african american man — Jeremy — deal with inpatient people — and move a line like I have never seen before — funny — light hearted — and what a great personality — along with being an extremely hard worker. Chipotle should hire him to train all employees and give him a big raise — based on what I saw! Thanks for making me smile — and as always chipotle bowls are always delicious and filling. NOTE: I would make sure when you check people out that there is a fork in the bag — when appropriate — because people are in such a hurry — I got on the plane and had no fork — I guess that is why I had chips.

A must have if your ever in the BWI airport. At just under $ 7 bucks for this huge meal. If you add guacamole, it’s gonna cost you $ 2 more. Cheers!

Ok, I’ve got to give it up for this place for one reason — Jeremy! After cancellations and standbys and horribly rude airline and security staff, I just about lost my faith in ppl. Jeremy greeted me and every customer with a smile and a joke, and somehow successfully made a mass of pissed off customers laugh and forget about the fact that they might not get to their destination tonight. Jeremy, you made me remember people are still good!

Worst chipotle experience ever. First the line was long and didn’t move very fast, then they put way to much sour cream when I asked for«just a little bit», and when the employee rolling my burrito realized it was over stuffed she had to rewrap it twice making my burrito into a ball.

Good food at a fair price. The quality is always dependable when you want to eat healthy. It’s nice they can customize your meal the way you want it.

As a Chipotle-lover, I’m gravely disappointed. This Chipotle is situated right by McDonald’s in a terminal food court. The long line doesn’t move fast, the employees are rude and standoff-ish, the steak is overcooked, the portion sizes are weak. Boooo on you airport Chipotle!

Got hard-shell chicken tacos with mild salsa, cheese and sour cream. Chicken was tender and toppings were fresh. Only waited 5 mins in line and service was fast. Pretty much the same quality as other branches of chipotle and as far as airport food goes, it’s pretty good.

Overview: In the heart of the Baltimore airport lies this Chipotle next to the collection of other chain stores(McDonalds/Arby’s/Jamba) and it is hands down the best place to eat in the airport. Gosh darnit the staff here are awesome because my burrito was PACKED. For ~$ 7.50(Dec, 2014), I got at least 1000 calories of delicious. I can easily say that it’s a great value even OUTSIDE of an airport, and heads and shoulders above the overpriced array of normal-airport eateries. I’m sure if you’re on Unilocal, you already know the joy of Chipotle, but if you don’t, here’s a quick primer. The bad news is that everybody else knows this too and this Chipotle has the longest line in the airport. When I came on a Thursday night, the line was at least 15 people long, though it only took me 10 minutes or so to get to the front. The Food: Order a burrito. It’s the most filling, the most delicious, and the best value. I get black beans, brown rice, and the fajita vegetables. I then add half barbacoa, half steak, and then go with both mild/medium salsa, corn, cheese, and lettuce.(Basically everything except the hot salsa, guacamole, sour cream.) I’ve tried their other meats including the chewy-tofu and they’re all great, but I simply prefer the steak/barbacoa. Some of my friends recommend asking for a double-wrap but I think it throws off the ratio of tortilla to filling. You’ll be full(~1000 calories), the meat, beans, rice, and salsas are perfectly seasoned, there’s excellent quality control from day to day, and you won’t spend much more than the overpriced airport food next door. The Establishment: There’s a shared dining area for all these chain restaurants and it’s usually quite clean. There are no soda fountains to keep people from stealing soda, so I would recommend ordering a large soda. Conclusions: Chipotle I love you. Don’t ever change.

This particular branch took really long to make the food. They ran out of some of the ingredients and I understand them being busy since they’re located in an airport but that’s exactly the point, you’re located in an airport. You can’t be ill prepared for big crowds to come. You deal with this everyday. Figure it out and create a smooth flow. People at airports don’t have much time to wait on your crew to get their act together. Given the location, prices are higher and the quality is just not as good as what you get in a restaurant chipotle. I hope quality isn’t compromised in exchange of fast service, but a good mix and balance of both is much needed. Try better next time.

Despite a line 20 people deep the staff there was working at a snail’s pace and chit chatting with each other. They acted like even if there was a fire they would not notice. A lady dropped her drink while getting a straw and napkins and none of the staff even bothered to help her clean up. No one ever said hello or thank you. The food was not even as good as other locations.

Airport food hmmm… i normally eat before I go but my son went crazy as we walked by. I decided to get a small bite after a friendly prayer. I order my son a quesadilla and I ordered a bowl. How do you run out of stuff and tell customers its a long process to prep food? So my bowl lacked items. The didn’t even give me any food I felt cheated. I won’t be returning ever…

Like Jon before me, I avoid eating in airports. I usually pack food. Or starve. Because the food is usually, call it «natural» or «heart health», still atrocious. Both in nutritional value & flavor. Enter Chipotle. We did a Bowl v. SALAD taste test & I will go salad in the future. First: portions are generous. I’m full after ½ & am having the rest for lunch tomorrow.(It’s s short flight). My guy pal said ridiculous & polished oft the whole thing. And is super full. The chicken & carnitas

Quick, fresh Chipotle food at normal prices without the crazy airport markup. There was a little bit of a line when I ordered but it moved FAST(if only the location by my apartment could do the same.

One of the decent choices in the food court at BWI. The employees were friendly and very quick and efficient. Be prepared with your order and what you want so that you don’t hold up the line. One person that is indecisive holds up the entire line. Right after we paid and sat down, the line was about 20 people long! Oh yes, guacamole is an additional $ 2 which seems to be a total rip off but I love guac!

Chipotle is now in BWI! The lines are massive since its new, but it moves pretty quickly. Thankfully it’s the same standard chipotle you would find anywhere else, not a bare bones airport version. Even the prices are the same. The food is just as good as at any other location. Definitely a go-to for airport food. Because the prices are not hiked up for being in the airport, chipotle gets a 5.
