The workers here make this store 4 stars but the clientele destroys everything. I’d give it 1 star because of the people from the meth clinic that is on Wilkens Ave and Pine Heights. They all just hang in front of the store and almost always beg for money or are outside cursing and being loud. One touched me one time. They’re almost always bickering or just being loud. They aren’t aggressive like heroin addicts but they aren’t quite as docile as crackheads. Anyway, I go in for iced coffee but hate to because that is where they are in the morning. Its like walking into a scene from Walking Dead. Why the cops do nothing is beyond me. The cops like to hang around there after lunch and in the evening but are nowhere to be found when these people are throwing trash all over the ground and loitering. Other than the sad fact of the meth heads, the workers are so very polite and personable and courteous(with the exception of one). They always say hello and know I’m in there for coffee or a can of delicious horchatta. I have to take a moment to plug the horchatta. If you haven’t had it get it. It is sweet and is an energy drink. Don’t be fooled by the cinnamon on the front. It is sweet cinnamon not spicy. The drink is similar to rice pudding or kheer. This 7 – 11 is great for customer service just not the bulk of the morning«patrons».
