Bugs scare the crap out of me. Fact.
And instead of waiting for the first spider to crawl across my wall, I decided some preventative maintenance was in order.
Enter Pro-​Tec. I was recommended this company by one of the agents that helped me find my house.
I called and made an appointment, and they were really good about working around my schedule and picking a time that would be fine for me.
Since the appointment was to prevent bugs (and not treat for any infestations or anything), the prices were extremely reasonable, I think. $ 65 for the first spraying (indoors and out), and $ 25 quarterly thereafter for them to come out and spray. 100 bucks a year to prevent ants, termites, etc? I’ll take it!
Pro-​Tec offers a pretty great warranty for all of their customers; if I ever spot a bug or have an ant problem or ANYTHING, they’ll immediately come out and spray for free.
So far I haven’t had any issues. No spiders makes for a happy Stephanie!
Why 4 stars and not 5? I have a cat, and I wasn’t comfortable with the technician spraying inside (except for the basement) without an MSDS for the chemical he was using. He couldn’t even tell me the active ingredient in the spray. Maybe a lot of their customers don’t request information like that, but it was something I wanted to know. Call me a Chemistry nerd if you want. So I just had him spray in the basement and outside. No biggie.
