Small town, homey atmosphere. Guys in there having morning coffee shaking dice :)
We had pancakes, French Toast, eggs, bacon, juice & coffee. 5 of us were filled to the brim for $ 36!
Would definitely recommend. Everyone was totally friendly — especially the locals.

They only take cash and local checks. No credit cards. Just FYI.

Place is very dirty.
Grease every where in the kitchen.
Counter stools in need of up dating.
Staff very slow and not friendly at all.
Staff more worried about their phone then the customers.
It smelt bad when they opened a fridge by our table. Smelt like something been rotten in there for a while.
Sat at the counter looking into the kitchen would not recommend sitting there if you don’t want to puke.

Nice little café, perfect for breakfast. Friendly staff, quick service and great prices. My only criticism is it’s a little crowded seating but other than that, we were very pleased with this local diner.

Fare and service are exemplary; reasonable prices are just a bonus. A small town café with a «down on the corner» ambiance. The kind of restaurant I seek out when travelling. rarely am I disappointed, but equally rarely am I as pleased with the find as I was with Shelly’s.

In Baldwin for a friend’s wedding, Shelly’s was highly recommended. It was a great taste of midwestern small town, USA.
Boyfriend had a breakfast plate, I had chili and grilled cheese. Chili was great. Not spicy, but flavorful. Nothing a big splash of Tabasco couldn’t fix. The star was the fried cheese curds! Yeah, we don’t have these angelic deep fried gooey nuggets of happiness in TN. Awesome.
Service was great. Definitely felt a little bit of a stare upon our arrival, as we apparently oozed out-​of-​town; but we were happily welcomed to the club.
If I ever find myself in or near Baldwin again, this will be my first stop!
