This salon was taken over by new management about 2 years ago by the original owner of Rittenhouse Nails I &II. Those two salons won Best of Philly under her management and I can clearly see why! First of all, the salon prides itself on their service and cleanliness. Their standard pedicures include a complimentary hot stone massage and paraffin treatment our tired heels. They take their time on every step to ensure customer satisfaction! The massage given seemed longer than most other places and on top of that they give you another back massage while you’re drying!!! Their pedicure tubs use a newer technology for the jets lowering the risk for infection in addition to using disposable liners for the tubs! I was able to relax and not fret about potential infections or germs. My gel manicure manicure lasted 3 weeks even after taking a beating from my active lifestyle. They do not do a lot of designs and such but if you are looking for a quality mani/pedi and exceptional massage then this is the place for you. They also offer a 20% student discount

Rating this salon is difficult. On one hand I received my longest-lasting gel manicures I’ve ever had. Obviously this is an important factor when rating a salon. Sadly, my low review is based on the cleanliness. I sat facing the pedicure chairs while receiving my manicure. A woman left and I watched an employee clean the tub… what else is there to do when you don’t have free hands for a book or magazine? The employee rinsed the tub and sprayed it with a cleanser. However, she didn’t run a cleanser/disinfectant through the jets. This method leaves potential germs in the plumbing of the jets and puts future patrons at risk for infection(depending of if the previous patron had any foot issues). Admittedly, I’m always leery of pedicure salons for this reason. The manicure area seemed clean enough but if they cut corners on the pedicure tubs I feel like they would cut corner in other areas as well.

Hands down one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had! This truly is the best bang for your buck. For $ 30 I got a pedicure that included a hot stone massage and a hot paraffin wax for my heels. I left feeling extremely relaxed and satisfied. After my pedicure I decided to get my nails done as well. I didn’t feel rushed and the polish stayed nice for almost a week. I will definitely be returning!

Stopped in for an eyebrow and lip wax, guess I should’ve checked the prices but I went to pay and it was $ 30!!! I feel like I just got robbed and she didn’t even do a great job they are too thin! That pricing is absurd even for the mainline, I’m filled with so much regret right now.

I’ve been going here for 2 years. The staff is so nice and accommodating and my gel manicure/pedicures always last 3 weeks. I am able to walk-in without an appointment which is great for my schedule. Also love the massages while you are getting your nails done!

To be clear, I am only providing a review for Helen, who I’ve come to for waxes since moving to Philly. Helen was recommended to me by a friend and she has never disappointed. I made the huge mistake of allowing someone else at this studio to do my wax and ended up with missing skin and a huge scab. Helen always does a nice job and is so kind. Definitely recommend her for all of your waxing needs! Also, the main woman who oversees this location can be a bit overbearing and rude. Just be prepared. Also, last time she required me to pay in cash for my entire service.

Absolutely the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Didn’t acknowledge is when we came in. Didn’t say how long the wait would be, didn’t offer any spa types of packages which we would have gladly paid extra for. The water was tepid, my technician got up and down a hundred times, there was absolutely zero massage or exfoliation, and no massage when drying either. Will not be going back. Low standards for main line

My nail tech Sue has joined the staff here. She is amazing. I was so without her and am glad she is now in this convenient location. The owner Sunny is a well seasoned Salon owner, very welcoming! If you remember this salon from the previous Asya, it has since been updated and refreshed.

Just got a wax by Helena there! It was great for as waxes go and really was fast. Customer service was amazing too.

Great for waxing — as long as you see Inna V. Have been going to see her for two years, and I would give her a definite five stars. She is excellent. However, salon gets two stars because front desk is poorly managed and pushy, and management is frustrating, especially since the salon changed hands maybe a year or so ago.

Great addition to the neighborhood! The nail salons in the area leave a lot to be desired but not Rittenhouse Nails! I went as a walk in(granted, 3:45 on a Thursday) and was taken right away by Amy. Amy was fabulous. Nice, helpful, did a beautiful job and made my nails look gorgeous even with my horrific cuticles. The price is VERY reasonable($ 15 manicure) and great customer service. The facility is clean and welcoming and everyone was lovely. I’m so happy to have a new place to get my nails done.

Disclaimer: I have never gotten nail color or waxing done at this salon. I have only ever gotten French manicures/pedicures, gels/acrylics, and chair massages. The salon owners are kind, professional, and accommodating. The prices are very competitive for the Main Line, and the staff members all strive to please. The salon offers FANTASTIC chair massages, as well as manicures/pedicures, gels/acrylics(I cannot remember which), and waxing. The French manicures/pedicures, gels/acrylics, and chair massages have been of excellent quality every time I have gone to this salon. The staff(Inna, especially) know how to perform a pedicure without making the experience a tickle-torture endurance test, and how to do gels/acrylics without damaging one’s fingernails(a rare skill). Overall, the members of staff are lively, skilled, and friendly. The main drawback of this salon is parking, which can be very limited. Otherwise, a very good bet.
