Pretty nice Sizzlers, nice staff and very cool manager. Lots of choices I haven’t seen in a while. Everything was really good. Clean and pretty! We don’t have one where we live so it’s either Ventura and it’s our first time here in Bakersfield middle of nothing; glad we tried this one out. … Sadly an hour later afterwards we went outside to find our vehicle was vandalized shattered window and stolen items… Ruined the rest of our day for my husbands birthday.

I have been going to the sizzler since I was a little girl. I would always get Malibu Chicken or the Salad Bar. I have never had a bad meal from there. My daughter and I enjoy visiting time and we go to the sizzler on MtVernon. Since they have redone the place I would like yo go more often. Everything looks clean and the salad bar is to due for. The servers are always friendly and quick to get anything you need. My boyfriend had a bad experience a long time ago and I can’t get him to give it another try. I was able to talk him into going one tine and the was pleasantly surprised. I told him the menu and food had changed. He enjoyed the salad bar. I was happy that he had changed his mind but he still doesn’t like to go there. I try to go anytime I can. The food never disappoints and the cheese toast makes my mouth water. The food is good and well priced. I would recommend.

The salad bar was fresh and clean. I enjoy salad bars a lot. They have artichoke hearts, baby corn, olives, peppers, tomatoes, and lots of veggies. A tip I found on the tacos is they have the real cheese at the other end of the salad bar. I avoid the fake cheese sauce. Im not sure about that stuff. They have soups to choose from and soft serve. Today they had Oreos next to the soft serve to make cookies and cream. You pay before you eat at sizzler. Which is a little strange to tip before you know what kind of service you are getting.

Great service and great food! Kathryn was a wonderful and very pleasant. I have been going to this Sizzler now for a few months with no complaints. If you want to take the family out for a good meal at a reasonable price, Sizzler is the place to be.

It’s been years since I’ve eaten at a Sizzler. Walked in and found the place was renovated with a nice clean modern look and feel. The cashier and hostess were kind and sat us right away. Wasn’t sure what to get so I ended up just getting the salad bar, which was better than I thought. The bar included pastas, soups, taco bar, wings, fruit and a variety of other salads. The quality of the food was okay but I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the pastas and lettuce. The condiments for the salad were nice but the eggs were definitely not fresh, at least did not taste fresh. The table service was excellent! The server’s name was Melissa… The price point was a little high for the quality of the food. Thought I would give it a shot and I’m glad I did. It was not bad and not great.

In her opionion it’s always been her favorite steak.
I have to admit that something about the steak is very addictive.
Since this is on the east side of town it’s very appreciated since not many sit down restaurants are in our area.
