We all know McDonald’s isn’t the place to get a nice meal, but they could at least get the orders right. Almost every time I come here, they mess something up. Example: this morning I went thru the drive thru for breakfast. The last made a snaky comment about my order, «Oh, so you just want the different kind of egg? Really!?» And then, I ordered an UNsweet tea with light ice. I got a sweet tea. I know she didn’t just misunderstand me, cuz she even asked if I wanted sweetener on the side, and I said no. Also, I swear every time I say«light ice»(cause I want more than 2 drinks of tea) I swear they give me extra ice! I like can barely get the straw in the cup, which, by the way, the lid is NEVER on all the way, and so I spill my drink down the front of me. So, yeah, is just McDonald’s, but it’s not a good one… Sorry

I hate going to this McDonald’s and avoid it most the time. My husband wanted a soda and the drive thru was to long so we went in. An employee stood in our way so we could not get to the counter to order with out going around all the tables. She stood there talking loudly to another customer, less than two feet away, yelling where is your baby daddy multiple times. And then when it was our turn to order the employee yelling, distracted the cashier to help her get her personal belongings behind the counter so she could leave for the day. Service is horrible and they allow the homeless people to come in and fill their dirty cups up at the soda machine and sit inside disturbing the paying customers by asking for money. They need a good manager to clean this up, because the current one stood in the lobby watching this mess unfold.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother with reviewing a McDonald’s that is completely, totally, and unequivocally normal. But in the name of being thorough, here goes nothin’. The downshot on this location is that it’s not in a great neighborhood. Those of you familiar with Oildale know there are spots that are better than others, and this one is only okay because it’s bright and there are other fast food restaurants nearby to keep the area in plain view. There are always a boatload of homeless folks and bus stop«living» humans, which is unfortunate, so I’d probably recommend taking the drive-thru if at all possible. As far as food quality and employees go, it’s not bad, really. They forgot my drink last time I went there, but otherwise, it’s fine. 3 stars for the McDonald’s as a whole, but dropping one star because, frankly, I didn’t feel all that safe getting out and acquiring my food on foot. There were vagrants even in front of the door and bathrooms. I know it’s not nice, but someone’s gotta move ‘em a little farther away. I feel bad for them, and I gave snacks to a few, but it’s not what I want to deal with to get fast food.

I really try to avoid this McDonald’s if I can, but there really isn’t another one in the area. The drive-thru is slow and often messes up something with our order. The last time we ate here, we order the 20 piece chicken nuggets. One box was just fine, but the other box of 10 was lukewarm hard, and stale.

My food is always cold only reason I come here is because it’s super close just out of convenience

The drive thru was too long. I went inside what a mistake I made. First off so many crack heads coming inside and just sitting there just to panhandle and refill their cokes with out paying. It smells. It’s dirty. The dining area is a mess spilled soda you name it they have it. Flies everywhere. The cashier sneezed and didn’t wash her hands after she handed me my money. YUCK. I should have stuck to the drive through I may never be back here. My fries are taking forever. This fly is getting annoying.

I always love McDonald’s food. It’s a weakness, but I’m addicted. I recently moved and this is the only location that’s reasonable to drive to. Unfortunately, I’ve rarely had a good experience here. In the dozen or so times I’ve visited, I’ve received the wrong order, been completely snuffed by an employee, and been frequently disappointed with the food itself– you’ve only got about a 50% chance of the fries not being cold. Additionally, it’s in the middle of the ghetto. Almost all of the patrons are very sketchy, and it’s not somewhere I feel comfortable visiting after dark. If you’re craving McDonald’s, it’s more than worth it to drive a few miles away to the location on the corner of Coffee and Hageman.

I come through in the mornings and order simply burrito and biscuit they are fast and get it right, store is clean and cleaning guy busts his rump, come any later though and the food is always wrong, ask for something to be added special expect to pay and not get it on your food, the cooks are clearly stoned, managers always fix the problem but c’mon don’t you want it right the first time? always say BBQ sauce with kids chicken nuggets never in the kids meal ever! Then they want to charge you for extra a sauce like wtf, constant trolling of tweakers and pan handlers too

They r suppose to have breakfast after midnight and it takes them Over 30 mins to make breakfast! What the heck! I don’t think they r suppose to do that. Also, they r always just standing outside talking. They don’t work and of they were suppose to be doing their job, we, as customers, wouldn’t have to wait so freakin’ long! Get with it people!

Stopped by this McDonald’s the other night after a party… It was a few minutes after midnight… The car I was in tried ordering chicken nuggets, filet o fish and several other fried food options that are on the menu. We were told by the drive thru gentleman that this McDonalds doesn’t do filet o fish or nuggets after midnight. When asked why, the man replied, «store policy.» I thought it sounded kind of «fishy.» Well, since half the menu was unavailable, we drove off. Ended up at another McDonalds in the downtown area where we were able to order and receive everything we wanted. Called corporate the following day… It was not a store policy at that store but more an employee not wanting to do their job. I will use my coupons I receive in the mail due to this inconvenience … Not at this one, either. McDonalds N. Chester, 1 star.

This location needs a remodel sooo bad! It looks old and dirty in there. Remodel and put a place for kids to play. Food is just like any mcdonalds but the«new» paint outside looks absolutely awful and inside is worse. Take care of your property!

Located on the corner of Roberts Lane and N. Chester Ave. I average coming here about once a year. This branch is the standard McDonald’s. The food is consistent with what is to be expected from the chain. Customer service is always inconsistent from location to location. This particular location, the service has been okay each visit. Nothing great and nothing bad. Cleanliness is fine as well. Just not too crazy about some of the rude and pushy panhandlers hanging outside from time to time. Overall though, this location is «A-Ok» 3 stars.

Food was cold, new value bacon cheeseburgers are awful. staff were on cellular phones in registers…we know all about her drama and issues of her life. also it was odd to watch multiple staff members, including drama girl ring and pay for their own meals and a manager in uniform 5ft away… a retail recipe for deception and problematic concerns if we had ever seen one. to sum it up… a cheep, bleek dinner and a live showing of world’s dumbest as entertainment.
