A decent skate shop for Bakersfield. This one is in a nice spot at the Marketplace. I definitely prefer this one over their other location at the mall. As a teenager, I shopped here lots. Knew a few of the employees and got sweet discounts. Well those days are long gone., ha. They took the deck service part of the store out. So don’t come here for skateboard services anymore… Now coming here as an adult. It isn’t so sweet on the wallet nor near as cool. Lol I really think this type of clothing here is for the high school kids and wannabe Bakersfield beach bums even though there’s no beach here. I’m not paying $ 29 dollars for a RCVA tee that’ll shrink to a pre pubescent teen size after the first wash. There’s so many who will though. I notice their SALE items are really the throw back of throwbacks! Mostly stuff you wouldn’t be caught dead in, odd prints, weird brand, or uncomfortable fabric. Don’t expect anything decent looking to ever be on sale here. The rest of the clothing is nice just know you pay for the brands name. Pushy employees trying to make a sell. Store is clean, aisles small, don’t come in with a stroller. I’ll stop in here every now and then but won’t come here for my wardrobe. Mainland, 3 stars.

Place is a joke. Don’t purchase anything from here unless you’re positive they are perfect. Got a pair of Tom’s for Easter for my boyfriend. When we got home he put them on and said they were incredibly uncomfortable. We kept the receipt and box and I brought it back the day before Easter. The manager angie literally took two seconds and said no bc they looked worn. Are you kidding me? By worn you mean tried on? I’ve spoken with the manager above her and now have to drive back to see what he thinks in order to get an exchange. Really upsetting, as we’ve spent a gross amount of money here. Hopefully this manager has more common sense and intelligence to see the shoes are in perfect condition. Went back and they fixed it with a different manager. We then spent more money and are happy customers!

One of the best retail store to pick some of the latest street wear /urban brands. Brand range from Diamond, RVCA, The Hundreds, OBEY, Nike SB, VANs, Connetic, LRG, etc. It’s a one stop shop and great customer service. They also have tons of more stuff on their website.

I will NEVER shop here again! I tried to exchange a pair of sandals I got for my birthday because they were the wrong size. The store manager was incredibly rude and told me that after 30 days customers can’t return or exchange any merchandise in the store. What?!? They don’t fit! And I wasn’t asking for money back! I wanted to exchange them for something else in the store! The manager said, «That’s the store policy. After 30 days, we can’t do anything.» I said, «So, I’m stuck with sandals that I can’t even wear because they don’t fit?» Manager *shrugs shoulders*, «Sorry.» TERRIBLE customer service on her part!
