Advanced Security

I would not recommend using this security company! I was with them for a while and had several problems along the way. I had several alarm signals and I never received a call from Advanced Security — What was I paying them for??? I did receive a call from Advanced Security about 3:00am one morning so they could tell me that I have a low battery signal — don’t know what they expected me to do about it at 3:00am. My plans were to test & replace the battery the next day myself. They called the next day, said they wanted to make sure the security system was working properly, and they did come out. They replaced the battery without authorization and sent me a bill for the battery and service call. Now Advanced Security has sent my account to collections. Their bill went from $ 300.00 to over $ 600.00 in less than a month. They failed to post my last payment and have apparently made up some kind of BS fees to come up with this astronomical figure. I would owe them approximately $ 200.00 if I chose to pay them for their unauthorized battery replacement. I think they need to put that battery where the sun does not shine!!!

I’m not sure how they are with Alarms but with Cameras I wouldn’t use these people. I had 5 installed and 4 worked. They replaced the 5^th one and it still didn’t work. I had to keep calling and finding out what was going on with the last camera not working. The Tech was great at keeping me informed going into a month since having the cameras installed; but the owner was terrible. He got his money and didn’t care to have my stuff fixed 100% since his guys been there enough.
The owner and Tech came over and told to look at the 5^th camera. Owner said it looked fine then said that’s the quality I’m going to get for buying the type of camera I got even thou it doesn’t look like the other 4 cameras installed. The Tech agreed with me on how bad the camera was. When you have the owner of the company telling you he’s not a genius and can’t figure out why the camera is bad; that’s a sign.
On top of that they put their foot through my ceiling and the owner had someone come over to patch my roof and they didn’t a terrible job. If it wasn’t for the Techs being professional I would have made a complaint with the BBB.
